Here's the truth, plain and simple, Jacuzzi really needs to update the Prolink app ASAP if they plan on a large base community, word of mouth or posted reviews to help guide the public in their decision making. Secondly, people upgrade their routers all the time, that usually means a change in their Gateway IP Address, this app needs it's own personal link to allow for clients who pay an annual subscription to be able to reconnect to their hot tubs without having to stress over the Prolink navigation buttons which are (very few). This app could use a whole knew FACELIFT, updates are essential in making sure the products can meet the demands of public needs, if Jacuzzi can deliver in a timely manner before my subscription runs out, I would otherwise be a happy camper, as well as a LONG TERM customer to their Prolink. I do have a year subscription for FREE due to the purchase of my Prolink, however, if Jacuzzi fails to follow through in a major update of this app, then, it's not worth me paying the $60.00 a year subscription, I would rather cancel at the years end, while searching for other alternatives. This app only works intermittently when it feels like it. Jacuzzi fix the problems with this (but they won't as they've moved on to smart tub)
Unable to even login. When it asks me to confirm terms of service, there's nothing to check to confirm i agree. Also when I click learn more on your Google play page, it brings me to an Arabic page. Please help!
Does not work with newer phones! Jacuzzi said they'd send me a fix and didn't.
This app is rubbish. It won't even recognise the device. Huge thumbs down 😡
Like everyone else leaving rating comments we spent lots of money on a feature and app that doesnt work. Very disappointed
not working old program they need to be ashamed a 20000 $ product
Now after 1 year owning 25k eur pool, having lots of stuff repaired and this crappy "application", to be honest i cannot recommend any Jacuzzi products to anyone. I was going to buy Jacuzzi shower for 25k eur but I decided not to buy because of Jacuzzi's arrogant and ignoring customer service and this crappy app which is not working as it should! Im myself developer with 27 years expirience of programming and this app is lowest trash i've ever seen! No more Jacuzzi to this family. J-575
Can't open app, seems the stars and the moon have to be aligned just right for this app to work. Get your s$#t together and do your job and fix it! Very disappointed with Jacuzzi. I Will never purchase or recommend another Jacuzzi product EVER!
Password reset link doesn't work now. Contacted developer but no response
Clearly, they have no clue when it comes to software. The app does very little, but usually does not work at all. You have to cycle the power on tour hot tub before using the app each time, because it can't stay connected. Not much use as a "remote" This app, and the firmware in the hot tub itself, is not reliable in any way, yet Jacuzzi seems completely uninterested in doing anything about it. What a disappointing experience for a $20k+ hot tub... Wake up! Edit: Used this app for 2 years now. Still slow and bordering on useless. I refuse to pay $5/month for remote access. Now, you I have to select WiFi only every time I use the app, but I connect over VPN and get remote access for free. This app is still a joke, but is the only option, so I still use it.
You would think after spending 20k on a spa they wouldn't try and hose you for $60 a year for rudimentary software. They do. After your free year, it takes over 30 seconds to log on (obviously to annoy you to pay the ransom) and you can't set the temp of your tub anymore. Guess what. I'll walk to my spa, it's the principle. Also terrible for a good brand, rethink how you treat the customer after the sale.
Horrible app and connectivity. If you buy a jacuzzi and have this option, please do not pay for it
Never works. For $15k they could get a C rated tech team to put together an app that actually works.
Does not work!! Nobody knows how to fix the issues when you call the help line. Its a joke!!
OMG it crashes every time. This could be a great app. C'mon guys, fix it!
Keeps crashing when trying to setup new Spa. Tried it on 3 Samsung phones, and it crashed on them all.
Works fine on our J-335 Jacuzzi. Took about 5 minutes to get it connected following the instructions exactly. We have multiple siding routers in our home. Just moved one of the so it was within 30ft of the spa.
I've got J575 and can't connect... How on earth do I play music without a connection????
I purchased an $18,000 jacuzzi and one of the selling features with the ability to use Wi-Fi. I travel a lot and would like to set it on my way home from the airport. The jacuzzi dealer has been out to my house three times now replacing the Wi-Fi unit and trying to fix it and it still doesn't work after 8 months. It's like buying a car with GPS and the GPS doesn't work 10 months later they don't expect you to be angry about it
So this apparently only works with the j500 tub. The $18,000 tub is not worthy of an app I guess. Disappointed with that Jacuzzi, thought you were better than that
Might be the worst app I've ever used. Consistently cannot connect. Great concept, horrible execution.
The WiFi module is not compatible with AC routers. Seriously? I have a 2016 J335 (supposed to work with this app even though it's a 300 not a 500 series) with a *new* wifi kit and after a month of not being able to connect I received a list of compatible routers from the store were it was purchased. Right at the top it states, "Wireless routers in 802.11ac only mode will not work with Prolink. The system will only work with 802.11b or 802.11g."
worked for the first week, now just gives me the trying to connect symbol but never connects and doesn't have an option to do anything if it cannot connect. this worrys me about the software on my jacuzzi now. how can a big company like this get an app right
Constantly forgets your login information. Once you sign in you will randomly be put into a demo mode. Sometimes you get lucky and actually can control your spa. Turning lights on is a joke. My tub only has two pumps and the app shows three. I could go on and on.
After setup it looses your spa. And you have to reset spa wifi and re set up app. After signing in and loosing spa for the 5th time I gave up.
Leave the software... Take the Jacuzzi
They want to charge for an app, which at best cannot link, then when it does is useless and slow at best, when you consider you pay thousands for Jacuzzi and they wish to charge yearly its like pouring salt on a wound, I still haven't had a problem (not working since new) with my volcano jet and a year later still nothing, avoid Jacuzzi there are better options available. Thank you Jacuzzi for such an experience followed by a further wish to charge me for a terrible app
