PROMARK GPS

This app stopped working! After the last update all the app does is begin to start then it shuts down. What this means is that you can no longer set the geo-fencing for the quad. (not sure if it reverted back to default parameters or kept the last ones that were saved), you can no longe take pics or record video (being that the only way to view your prior vids was thru the app you can no longer access the vids that you had already made either). Stable flight is impossible...RAN OUT OF ROOM

THIS IS A FIX (WORKAROUND) FOR THE APP CLOSING ISSUE!! I originally purchased these drones @ a deep discount at Walmart and have found them decent for learning/training. ProMark is now out of business and gone completely. Hope is NOT lost! This EXACT drone was manufactured and sold under SEVERAL different brands!! The HolyStone brand is one that is still made so parts are available AND THEIR APP LOOKS & WORKS BETTER then the Promark!!! I was out at the park for some flying time and found out about the APP closing and was beyond MAD! I installed the "HS GPS PRO" app, selected the Model that looks like our ProMark GPS drones, and everything worked great!! The camera view (view while flying) actually looked sharper and I liked the layout better. You will have to turn Beginner Mode off again, and setup your distances again but its a better app in my opinion and it sure beats not being able to fly!! App for Promark & HolyStone are made by same developer. I would REALLY like to believe the issue with the ProMark app is unintentional but they have a lot of bad press. Hope this helps some others out there!

The drone itself is choppy it says 500 meters but if you want a clear picture stay around 30 meters and the app worked amazing on my cheep smart phone but upgraded my phone and now it takes forever to link and the content wont save to my phone. whats the point of taking videos if the only way you can look at them is thru the app iteslf, what if i want to post them online. i did give it three stars because the app itself is really easy to use theres tutorials on everything for the beginners

Sorry to hear that other users with much more high end phones than mine won't work. I have just a cheapo LG something or another from Wal-Mart and the straight talk plan. The drone itself works amazing and is super easy to fly. As a beginner I'm impressed at how easy it is to learn how to fly. Good stuff.

Fil Farris is a genius. I followed his instructions and downloaded the HS GPS PRO app and my drone is completely usable again. He is correct in saying the app is much more user friendly than the original one designed for the drone. I love the Google map shot in the bottom left hand corner. When you enter the app, select the HS100 as the device and you should be good to go.

Videos do not save anywhere I can transfer to a computer. Does not save to memory card on drone either. I cannot move the camera up or down either. Drone flies great but it would be nice to see video or pics. It only saves in the promark app.which is useless.

App no longer works on my S8+. Drone worthless without it. UPDATE: they fix software and now it's back working on my Galaxy 8 plus. I uninstalled the old software and reinstalled the same software and it works perfect. Thank you

The only app that I found to work for my kindle tablet. Other apps say "Sorry, your device is not GPS " when I click on controls. My drone works fine with remote control only and its own GPS keeps it very stable. Why do I need GPS on my tablet?

OK. I figured out why I and probably all of you -can't open the APP, or link up to drone. I shut off my mobile data link. Try it. Under settings select mobile network then shut off mobile data link. Turn on drone and connect to Wi-Fi. Open app and bingo there is drone camera in back ground. Then proceed as needed to finish the job. And fly away. Shutting off mobile data, It disables your internet link; which will allow you to view Wi-Fi camera on the drone. Phone will work, for calling but no internet connection till you turn it back on, don't forget. Have fun. Tom

I like the app its easy to use and works great. Only problem is you can't share your videos. Everytime i try to share videos they're too large. Any ideas on helping with this problem i would appreciate input. Thank you.

Good functions, but wished camera worked through direct signal rather than through wifi only. Good range for drone, but very poor distance for live camera view through wifi only.

Carmra not that great because it keeps on freezing and need to work on the app because is does not let me open it !!please fix as soon as possible so I can fly my drone again.

This app works great on older phones, but you need to download the newer version of this app to work on these newer ones. Love this drone.

I found a solution to the failing Promark App. Download the App for Holy Stone. Everything seems to work exactly the same as the Promark app.

not working at all ,went through the start up loke it said using the app with wifi connection and all i get is waiting on GPS to connect, then after about 5 mins the drone shuts off ,can't get any help from help center and looking at frequently asked questions its all in another language oh and im using the new Samsung Galaxy s9

The app will not allow me to change the flight parameter settings from beginner mode. That makes the whole drone worthless.

worked great on my android Samsung S5 but cannot open the setup for spd, run height and distance allowed. it just has a circle spin in the middle. can only fly in beginners mode.

App used to work on my phone but whatever update was done need to be undone so it will work again it keep kicking me out as soon as I pick on the app

This app works in place of the original Pro Mark app the user manual recommends, actually this app works better. When using this app be sure to disable your data usage in your phone settings otherwise the app will not function.

Smooth working. Definitely wnhamces the experience of flying the drone. Stable.

everything worked good. only problem is I can't get it off begainer mode. And I can't get any help...

My drone controller doesn't always work. Is there a way to get New controller?
