Pronounce It Right

I downloaded this app to see how to pronounce just one word. It immediately started downloading some "voice data..." something or other that I still don't know what it is. In attempt to stop it, I uninstalled the app but that download is STILL eternally ongoing. The notification won't go away. I hate this app.

Only one step away from becoming the best app for pronunciation ever... It needs a downloadable database for all languages with their respective pronunciation styles of words, in order to be used offline. The database however can be updated from time to time (whenever the need arises). Besides, also do increase the volume of certain languages such as English (india) which are not even properly ordable...

I do really like this app so far. But there are a few things I would change. For example, I would add a button to easily clear the search field (right now you just have to use your delete key to delete all the letters in the word). I would also add something to easily look up the definition of the word. I did the paid upgrade because I thought that's what the word history option was (ie. definition and history of the word). Turns out that's just a list of all the words you've looked up so far.

App crashed on first use & somehow language changed to Dutch which alphabetically isn't even close to English, a strange application error! After resetting speech speed and language it's OK. It continues to give dependable services (no crashing) I feel as though I have been using it for several years now perhaps on 3 different Android phones. I am currently reading Michener's "Poland" so I am having Polish pronunciation. How neat is that? Ena

This is an amazing app, it is very useful in pronouncing difficult scientific names in addition to all other words in which one feels confusion... Really a smart work... Appreciate the creation.. well-done... keep making it more advanced and approaching

Very useful and easy to use. Although it would be better if it is added/linked/associated with the meaning of the word also (I use it for studying English and at the moment I need to combine it with my dictionary. So both of them are 'incomplete' working separately)

As a guy who grew up on the streets of New Jersey and New York in the nineteen sixties and seventies my street sense and Common Sense two issues of the world are very solid. However, my book knowledge and use of the English language is coded with the pronunciation of a StreetWise Northern accent. Making it difficult to properly pronounce certain words let alone spelling them. This app has helped me tremendously with my vocal capabilities

A great little app comes in handy. Helps me with words that I'm not quite familiar with when it comes to regarding the pronunciation of that word. Great for work school and even just fun looking upwards and figuring that out there pronounce. I would recommend it.

This is the best app ever, especially if your studying or reading the Bible it will pronounce any word correctly in the Bible that you can't pronounce. Comes in good hands to those who reads the Bible, or any other words you seem to not be able to pronounce than definitely download this app.

I haven't used the full paid version yet free version take care of my needs. But would like to try the full version. One valuable suggestion is that it should incorporate a tutor in its paid version which should systematically teach few works daily to make user proficient in pronunciation in few months.

I read a lot and sometimes come across a word i know but don't know how to pronounce. I use this app often. I am very happy with it

As a person who does not have television I find this app to be very helpful. Oft times I'm in a quandary as to how to pronounce many of the new words that appear or are coined "daily." This app is my solution. So far it has worked well too!

I've yet to discover a mistake. Only improvement would be more languages preloaded.

Claims it can pronounce any weird in any language that your phone supports. My phone supports íslenska (Icelandic), but the app won't even let me select it as a language. Don't make untrue, blanket statements. Deserves a zero star rating for fraudulent claims!!

Well obviously you want it too pronounce words for you. It truly does a good job; but you need to pay for voice settings and the word history.

I've been using it, and it clears my doubts about pronounciation and the very best of it, is that doesnt need internet connection

Stuck down loading on Spanish and German . Can't stop it. I hit force stop. Starts again even with mobile Web off. Getting angry. Now I have to take phone in to a specialist

It's got some extreme potential. It pulls up basically any word (haven't found one that wasn't), even those that are very rare and hard to find. So I give it credit there. However...thats where my support ends. The voice is obnoxious & loud. Volume control doesn't help, as I need to hear her in order to understand it because I'm listening to closely because I can't make out what many words are that she (the robotic pronouner) speaks. It's way to fast. And lastly, it's extremely basic. The app. If you need it strictly for pronunciation, then perfect, this is what will work perfectly for you. But if you are looking for extra features, a cool interface, voice controls and an overall, cool looking app, then this is NOT for you.. Although, their is an upgrade available for 99 cents. Maybe then it'll allow you to access cool stuff, I would at least hope paying members receive the option to change the speed and adjust other sound features. I didn't want to waste 99 cents on this. I have found the perfect pronunciation app and it's called: "Spell and Pronounce Words right" by Himansh Studios. Incredible !!

It works perfect. I had all kind of phone's, services etc and I never have problem with this app. So good . That fact that I'm foreign , helps a lot

I have recently started using this app and I think it's nothing short of perfection. It's quite fun to hear pronunciation in different languages.

App works great but would love it if i was about to slow her down as she's saying the word...I'm learning some medical terminologies and she says the word so fast it's like I'm not catching it fully

I downloaded the app and was using it for a few days, ever since it has been downloading two files constantly and wont go away.

I love to read & this helps me tremendously when trying to pronounce foreign names. Right now I'm reading a book by a British author and much of the book has Welsh, Russian and Hungarian words. I'm able to pronounce the words properly. This app is great!

Everytime i start the app., it always changes my preferred volume settings to maximum. You constantly have to turn it down to a bearable loudness. Please fix the volume issue. Please.

Cant even really hear how they're pronouncing clearly. Didnt answer my question at all.
