Fun app, when the Bluetooth works. It would be great for a skip button on the Bluetooth connection screen for controller setup, as my phone has trouble connecting via the app, but no issues manually via phone settings. It would solve being stuck on the connect screen and bring unable to continue.
Installed fine but took forever to link to controller. The problem was it wanted me to enter a passkeh, but none was mentioned and the normal ones didn't work. Finally I had to close the app, link controller to phone then restart app. The app still said it couldnt find the controller, but after about 2 minutes it said it was connected. Hooked up easy after the initial linking so 3 stars instead of 1.
It said, "Unable to detect controller"!! I have linked the controller to my Nexus 6p running android 8,1.0 via Bluetooth and it turns sold blue but, I cannot get passed , " Unable to detect controller"!!! I tried everything!!! Uninstalled app and then reinstalled it thinking i did something wrong but still does not work! Please fix this problem!! Thank you.
Sadly, I can confirm as of January 1, 2019 the app still does not allow you to create an account. Consistently receiving the "passwords do not match" error. This has apparently been going on for months and does not leave a good impression for Propel.
The password issue is still present but the solution that worked for me was using 8 all lowercase letters then a single number. So to "secure" my account (for what reason anyway?) I had to use an INSECURE password. The training seems cool so far, so that brought it up by one star.
App downloads, creates short cut on home screen, but when I open app scream turns black and locks my phone out. I have to uninstall app to get phone working again. Very disappointed, as the X wing drone is awesome! (HTC one M8)
The app is great, but when I try to do training mission 9, the controller warning to turn the barometer off does not go away so I can not complete the mission or go any further.
good help for this novice. Had trouble with the password like others, but when I used six characters AND 1 number for the password it worked. The tutorial is good for a first time drive pilot to get you used to the controller.
Does not work. UX is terrible. Cannot find any of my two controllers on any of two smartphones. Cannot pair without app, cannot use with pc. App couses problems with bluetooth and wifi on all my devices. And remote interferes with all bluetooth and wifi around it. And you constantly need to login.Waste of money. PLEASE dont buy propel starwars drone. PLEASE fix. My holiday is ruined
Works as expected. Like many users, had difficulty creating a password that matched, however it worked after reading a comment below. I used an 8 digit letter followed by a single number.
Great app works fine BUT the double gate training missions are next to impossible unless you're a savant at flying and the strafing target mission says 0:00 seconds for 3 stars... So it is impossible. Please patch your app it has problems.
The app was successful through the training courses but when my brother and I tried to connect the controller to my phone for live battles, the controller would demand a pin and not connect. We tried to work around this but were unable.
The app is very limited has set up guide that is useless and looks like it's probably no longer being supported. I had to email Propel support to get a user manual but I don't think I'll be using this app any longer.
Like many others I can't create an account, it just says username taken whatever I type in, same for my email address. Shame as it could be a great app for learning to fly and hone skills but let down by the very basics of creating an account!
Cant connect. Phone blue tooth is on and sees the controller but everytime i get to the screen to coonect to it, it fails and tells me unable to connect. I tried just practicing with the drone and proceeded to fly into myself and slash my hand with the propellers. Cool.
No issues simple set up. Not sure why people are gettibg issues mine set up in 20 seconds no problem at all and all ready to sync to my drone. Can't wait to start Training
Trying to create a new account, and I can't. Says "Username already taken" no matter WHAT I type in. It could be complete jibberish, and it says it's already taken. Same goes for the email address too.
Cannot even try as i can't even connect my phone to the controller as the controller itself does not accept any Bluetooth password on syncing
Works well with my Sony Xperia X. Connects via Bluetooth to the controller. Great training app before powering up the actual drone.
Am I the only one having a problem with the yaw/left stick not turning the drone but pushing up or down on the left stick makes it turn in the app I have the Tie Advanced X 1 and can't get through the missions that you have to turn the drone
Can't use the app as it constantly says the passwords do not match at the initial set up even though they do.
All names has been all taken I don't know why I tried many times and I had enough good game but needs more major improvements in the making accounts first. Please fix it because its annoying.

I connected it to my controller myself, but it just says it cant connect! It is glowing blue on the controller, but i just cant do anything
Great app for first time rebel and imperial pilots... had great fun learning to fly without damaging our drones... (9 & 48 year old pilots)... may the force be with you... always 😁👍
Great app when it works. Used to work on my galaxy s5 but will not connect to my controller via bluetooth with my galaxy s9..
It downloads and then when opened it say " you may have not purchased the app" uninstalled and re installed over 10 times , still not working!!!
Bluetooth won't hold a connection to my Sony Xperia L1. 90% of the time it just refuses to connect at all, then on the rare occasion I get the "Bluetooth Connected" message, the app continues to search for the controller and won't let me proceed past the syncing screen before dropping the connection again. Nothing wrong with the phone's bluetooth, tested with other apps. Spent so long trying to get it to work, the batteries died in the controller. You owe me 4 AA batteries. Extremely frustrating and indicative of sub-standard app testing, sort it out please.
