Currently the best camera app on my Pixel 4a. Quality exceeds even FilmicPro by a lot and really works well with the 4a hardware. One thing I would love is a way to hide buttons on the screen... Small thing that I use in FilmicPro and miss in ProShot. Other than that, truly phenomenal and continues improve with new updates. Finally devs putting their full effort intoan android camera app when others aren't.

Exposure compensation doesn't work properly. The resulting image appears much darker than viewfinder. Sometimes it's just completely black. Probably will make a refund. UPD: Expore compensation issue is still relevant after 8.3 update. UPD 2: Version 8.4 The issue is still there. UPD 3: Version 8.5.1 No change UPD 4: I have bought new version again, and exposure is still incorrect, what a shame

I absolutely love this app but after the last update photos I take in RAW mode are just white. Please fix. UPDATE: Issue fixed. Thanks devs.

Absolutely amazing, I am in love. I'm using the OnePlus Nord CE 2 and the standard camera app is nothing compared to this one, I didn't even know it was possible shooting in RAW on this phone, the interface is great and thought through, one of the best cam apps out there, full recommendations!

Absolutly the best app for painting with light and high end motion photography. I've tried so many manual camera apps and I've become a bit of a coneseur. I've tried about half of them now. Obviously get Lightroom for your editing but after that shoot with ProShot. And for a manual camera app, it has surprisingly good jpegs! Like, wow!

Latest update makes the telephoto camera disappeared, unlike previous version. LG G8. PS: it's not yet fixed since the latest version (8.7). It works at first launch then raise an error and permanently disappears after. You should let modifying ISO and shutter speed freely instead of multiple predefinded configures.

Image I take in raw mode does not match what I see in viewfinder. I turned off EDGE, was taking 3x zoom photo. Result image was blury and did not respect zoom, looked like it took 0.5x instead. Manual ISO does not have any effect. Manual white balance limited to 9k at max, however auto can go up to 40k. Same goes for iso, manual is limited to 3200, when auto can go 4k+. ISO, WB in manual has only discerete number of options, no way to set custom values (some slider would be good to have)

60 fps doesn't seem to work for some reason. I tried it on the auto option but the shutter speed doesn't stay at 1/60. I checked the evaluator app and my phone (Asus Zenfone 8) does support 60 fps on both lenses atleast at 1080p (4k 60 only on wide). Would love a fix to this! Thanks.

Great app. But I have a weird bug. The app refuses to open as soon as I give permission to access the downloads folder from the settings. Let me know where I can submit the details.

Well designed interface and good results - when it works. Unfortunately a high percentage of shots end up as four disjointed tiles instead of the captured image. Very disappointed. Not even beta quality. Samsung S10 on Android 12 so a common combination to expect to be tested.

Serious issues with low light situations with flash set to Auto, the light comes on to Auto-focus, but then the shutter goes off before the flash, resulting in an under-lit picture. I've never seen this issue in any other photo app.

Hi Eddie! I am no longer able to use this app (paid version)as of Dec 2021 . I get an error message that it cannot connect to camera and prompt for "restart". I am in the process of reviewing camera apps for my youtube channel and won't be able to include this one. I hope we can address this. It is appreciated that you continue to work on this app but it shouldn't throw out previously compatible phones (Nokia G20) thank you.

A quite expensive disappointment. Constant focusing problems (in video mode too). Photos' quality is not up to my expectations. Will uninstall; recommend (e.g.) Snap Camera HDR instead. Simpler, cheaper, more reliable and more user-friendly.

I have yet to really get into it but so far everything works as described. I'm having difficulty realizing why it is necessary upon purchasing a phone with such a high quality camera. I think that I will be able to make good use of this once I have the time to actually sit down and devote time. Pixel 6 pro, All three cameras working properly

This app is literally so good, cleanest UI for a camera app I've seen. My issue isn't the devs fault, so I'm not going to slam the app, I have a 64 mp rear cam and a it only allows access to 12 mp, 12 mp sheeeeeeeeeeeesh what is this the year 2010 samsung come on get with the times and allow 3rd party access to my shiznit on my UNLOCKED A71 5g. Amywhoozers you did a great job on this truely. πŸ‘

Needs to be transparent in their description of which manufacturers do not work well. This app is NOT sufficient for anyone with a Samsung flagship. Evaluator program was innacurate reading said Samsung device.

Good UI but a lot of issues with pixel 6 pro. Please fix following issues! 1. No way to turn off edge sharpening in video? This is a must feature on pro video or photo apps 2. No 4k front video on pixel 6 pro.(also only takes 8mp photo) 3.Very frequent crashes on pixel 6 pro. 4.autofocus/exposure seems to be significantly worse than the stock app.?

Bought it on sale and I'm surprised when I opened it because the UI is so modern I love it 🀍

It took more than 5 sec to delete a photo stored in the phone storage.

not many options for time lapse /long exposure in manual settings

Sim. L. Feb 23, 2022

Love the interface. Easy controls if you know what you are doing I've got this as the Google in house camera app doesn't have the pro level of tool adjustment which I love I recognise from using a mirrorless camera. An issue I've found and I'm not sure if it's me but the shr option at 10 seconds is the max and the file doesn't save after this isn't too much hassle as I still like the astro mode on the pixel. A great app for a great price. Finally a developer that gets us photographers!

I was looking for an app that could capture DNG/RAW photos in a sustained rapid-fire manner for photogrammetry purposes. I am thrilled to say that ProShot does exactly that by pressing and holding the capture button. As an added bonus, you can choose to capture *only* the RAW format photos, so you don't need to sift through the JPEG's later. Of course, ProShot has all the standard DSLR features you 'd want for a phone, and manual controls for all of them. I cannot stress enough the enormous value of being able to take rapid-fire RAW images for photogrammetry. Absolutely indispensable. If I could rate this higher than 5, I would, just for that feature.

App seems to work OK as a camera. However, it refuses to save photos to my SD card, instead only saving to the internal phone memory. It's really a pain in the backside to have to constantly find the new images and move them to the SD card manually. The app provides an unhelpful error message then doesn't save the photo unless I select internal storage.(Fixed!)

Overally a good app, but few bugs were experienced and I miss few features. Pros: 1) Can capture timelapse on manual settings, and save it as individual images, which is exactly what I need. Bugs: 1) When the flash is turned ON (it's not on auto), it does not flash everytime - seems like it's still in some kind of automatic mode. 2) When both shutter and ISO are on manual, ISO seems to be stuck at one value and changing it in GUI does not have any effect on the captured photos. 3) When both shutter and ISO are on manual and the flash in auto mode or manual ON mode, the photos seem to be captured on much longer exposure time / higher ISO than when the flash is turned OFF (the flash did not fire in any of the cases). 4) GUI shows three possible resolutions, but two of them are the same (7MP, 7MP, 2MP). 5) EXIF produced with the app seems to be not OK [The tag 'SceneType' contains an invalid number of components (4, expected 1)] and there is possibly also a problem with the ordering of the tags. Some of the bugs could be device specific (Samsung A51) Missing features: 1) Does not detect the default (maximum) aspect ratio of the camera (in my case 20:9) - has to be set as custom.

Just bought this for the s20 ultra, though it would give me a long shutter speed control for taking waterfall photos. It only let's you slow shutter to 1/4 second in manual mode. So it's kind of useless for me. Also when trying to take slow mo video as soon as you press record it crashes and freezes my phone. Wish I never paid for this app, would be nice to get a refund or they should atleast have a trial run before having to pay.
