Prosodiya - Lesen und Schreiben lernen (Deutsch)

Prosodiya is an innovative funding concept to improve the reading and writing performance of primary school children with and without LRS.

With Prosodiya children train to recognize the German language rhythm step by step. They practice dividing individual words into syllables and recognizing the accented syllable. Then they learn how to combine these linguistic features with spelling rules. These skills enable children to learn more systematically and more easily to read and write.

Content
- Over 400 of the most important words of the German basic vocabulary
- Visual representation of all words for a better learning effect
- Child-friendly and comprehensible hands-on explanations of learning strategies and tasks
- Children can use Prosodiya independently without the help of parents

Result of scientific research
Already in 2009 Dr. Katharina Brandelik to investigate whether there is a connection between the children's speech-writing skills and reading literacy skills. As part of her dissertation at the University of Tübingen she was able to show that children with reading-spelling problems often have problems with the perception of the language rhythm. For this purpose, Dr. med. Brandelik 2014 the science prize of the Federal Association for Dyslexia and Dyscalculia e. V.
Based on these findings, the development of the Prosodiya support program began in 2014. Since the beginning, the development has been carried out in cooperation with the University of Tübingen, Prof. Dr. med. Jürgen Heller, Research Methods and Mathematical Psychology and Prof. Dr. med. Detmar Meurers, Computer Lingustik and the learning forum Brandelik, a tutoring and learning therapy provider. Meanwhile, the Prosodiya research group consists of Katharina Brandelik, Jochen Brandelik, Heiko Holz and Benedikt Beuttler.

Heiko Holz carried out a Prosodiya funding study in 2018 as part of the Graduate School & Research Network LEAD. There were 129 elementary school children in the second to fourth grade and trained over 9 weeks about 5 times a week for 20 minutes with Prosodiya trained. The children were divided into two groups and the groups trained time-shifted, a so-called wait-control-group design. For every 3 dates, the spelling achievements as well as the ability to perceive stress patterns were checked. The results of the study suggest that by training with the Prosodiya app, the children were able to significantly improve both their spelling performance and their stress perception.

Wants unnecessary access to my data and phone. Update. Thanks for responding. I tried to install again. I will be more clear, this is for my child. I will also be more specific, this app requests access to photos which can be of my child or any image and access to manage calls. If this statement is incorrect then simply answer rather than referring to your policy. As a parent privacy is always a concern with ones child.
