Proton Bus Simulator 2020 (64+32 bit)
It's still a beta with lots of stuff being added, there are dozens of new features! Three years after the first edition, launched in 2017, we are achieving remarkable steps with this mobile bus simulator.
The modding system for buses is now more advanced, supporting many animations for buttons, rain, wipers, windows and so on. The community made already hundreds of buses, and there are more to come!
We will release many new buses as mods soon, there are some being created during this year. If we put all buses that we have inside the game it would get very huge and no one plays with all vehicles... So as a mod you keep just the ones that you like the most, thus saving space. All old non animated buses were not included in this editon, they will be relaunched as mods over the next few months.
We are working very hard to achieve map modding support on Android too! During 2020 there will be some updates bringing new features for map mod creators. Currently there are basic support without people and cars. With fan content we could have hundreds of new bus routes! Forget about the old style of 101C and the bad roads!
These old routes are still present, but with a huge focus on custom map creation, they will be something of the past soon.
This simulator is FREE with some extras for PAID USERS. You may play with it forever in the free version, we don't want your money just because of the money itself. Pay only if you REALLY LIKE this project and understand its development process. Paid users won't see any ads, and will gain access to some exclusive features, including virtual mirrors, cruise control (automatic acceleration at certain speed), screenshot capturing in 360 degree etc. Almost all other features are completely free. Almost all buses are free too.
It is more a simulator than a game. So we do not care about points, checkpoints, blah blah blah. Just pick up the bus you like and drive. Since it is a complex simulator, there are lots of controls and lots of settings. Please, watch some video or tutorial online before complaining about it. Most of the complaints are easily solved. For example, press N before selecting the gear to move the bus. Don't forget to release the parking brake. Some options may cause undesired behaviour. Please read carefuly settings descriptions before enabling an specific option. Some work best on some devices, while others don't.
This project is available for PC and Android. On PCs the overall graphics quality is better due to the powerful hardware that they generally have. There are many settings that you may change to improve performance. It requires a modern mid or high end device, with a huge amount of RAM memory (preferably 4 GB or more). If it does not play well on your device, please try older versions or play a little bit with settings. There is a known problem with 64-bit applications made with Unity for Android. If you experience bad framerates on your device, you may download the 32-bit apk from our website. It may be faster sometimes.

We will be focusing more on the core updates, specially about modding support. This simulator is awesome with mods, imagine it without them for a second...
You may download mods just by searching for Proton Bus mods or by acessing the button inside the game. To install mods you must use a file manager. Don't worry, the community may help you.

Currently most advanced features are tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, and basic ones on a J7 Prime. It is not suitable for older phones with less than 2 GB of RAM, but you may try it by manually the via apk/obb, without any guarantee. Is incredible, but they're still some issues to fix on it to make the game look more interesting, 1 add deports where bus are departing, & add fuel station in each deports, to fill tank before departing, & add some bus terminal along the way, shows AI bus arrival/departure, 2 add lights in the bus stops, to signal in night from long distance, 3 add tunnels in some of the roads, 4 please rework on the town or city to look more busy, so when you arrive in town or city there will be more traffic
This game is one of the best bus driving simulators out there but though here is why it's good and bad first the game has different buses different cities to drive in , different people , different weather and daylights ( like night and morning ) . The bad side of it is that the game when l load in or half way though immediately says something about the storage that causes me to have to leave it . I have one question when it say " did not stop " what does that mean? The bus stops the 🚦l pass?
Superb game very nice I am playing this game since last 2 years and this is one of my favorites there is also but 1. speed is not dynamic 2.when you are above 60s steering does not response properly 3.clutch paddles and H gear shifter must be added. 4.when you change the gear and accelerate you can notice that the bus rides the clutch before 2000 Rpm So, I think you will fix these things soon Thank you........... Fantastic game with really good graphics I would love if yous could add real schedules and could add double decors that would be fantastic but keep up the good games and if yous could try making a uk version that would be amazing.
This game is very good and unique to other bus simulators I've played. The graphics are awesome if you have a device with 4+ Gigs of ram, the buses are very high detailed. But the fact that you can just pick a bus of your choice without points and take it out for a spin is even better. You can drive around the many cities, almost like a sandbox. 5*!
I was having problems with the version I had which was very old. I deleted it and installed the latest version. Off the bat I can see that there were alot of changes just on the menu alone. But if I attempt to go anywhere, like play, the game freezes and stops responding. The only button that does anything is the Menu button, which I can open the menu but attempting to press any buttons there also freezes the app. Please help. PBS is one of my favorite simulators and I love playing it when i can
I like the game mostly but there is one problem I do not like the people talking speak differently than us and some letters are i changed the language to usa and still won't work could you plz remove the lan that's. Brazil I like the game and it's very good I can tell how many effort yall put in it ☆☆☆☆
This game runs very smoothly. The graphics are amazing. The buses are also great. I also used mods and they are amazing.
This is so far the best Simulation Game I've ever played the whole year! I especially love the notes about the gameplay performance and so on! I also think that the developers should let us record the driving process and replay it with different bus camera angles. It would also be wonderful if the buses in the background actually have routes to operate on and act as a the bus that the player drives. Overall, this game so far has an excellent improvement and highly smooth in-game experience!
This is in my opinion the best bus simulator on Android. Very detailed models, realistic maps, and a great mod community. But I only gave a 4 star rating since there is no feature which allows the camera to focus on the back of the bus for realistic 3rd person gameplay, and this works especially for mods. It will also be great if you can add back collisions within the next update, and if possible, add body deformation for both bus and traffic, and also a roadmap showing the entire city.
This gotta be the best bus simulator for android. The buses are easy to control, its offline, and the maps are very realistic. But i have a suggestion and that is to add a feature where you can make the bus go into A.I mode and a passenger mode. Reason for a A.I mode is to make this game more interesting and have us users have the ability to fan the bus and passenger mode, sure this is a bus simulator but sometimes we don't always drive the bus all the time. Sometimes we want to be a passenger and enjoy the ride. Those are my suggestions.
Your game is so great, l feel like a real bus driver. Please l see that you got that potential to can also create a truck version of your game please do it.
I just received the new updated and might I say the game has come along so far from 2019 I have been playing it, every time I get a new device this is the first thing I download (take ur time mep, and developed the game) love to see more features mainly towards the ai buses. From what I heard, its great. But the one problem for me is it says the app always stops yet I update it. please fix this and add all the OMSI 2 buses like the D40LF!
I really love this game so much. It has taught me a lot about driving. But the following problem I faces are: 1. The passengers disappears when they drop off the bus. 2. Can't see through other buses. 3. API buses can't pick or drop passengers at the bus stops or station. 4. The GPS should be in 3D when in a third person view. Please if you can fix the above for me, I would be glad. Keep it up on your good work. This is one of the best android bus simulator I have ever played. Thank you .
Really good. runs smoothly on a 2 year old Galaxy S10+. modding is extremely simple, although it's more difficult now as Android has blocked access to the Data folder (some android 11 thing), and I didnt root my phone. a suggestion to those facing this issue is to use a PC to transfer the mod files. Great simulator overall
Too Much High! Anyways. Could I suggest you something? I am not forcing you to do this but I would be glad to Include this in an update. Can you please make the Display Route System a little more complex which looks like the ones in OMSI 2, because the Selecting Route was been for a long time but Things can Change too right? So can you please make it more advance if you can do it just like ones in Omsi. But if you cannot do it, it just ok. Not forcing you to do it. Just suggesting.
Nice game with the most detailed system for bus operation. Only near-future recommendations are a tutorial explaining the bus' different functions (buttons), a tutorial walkover or level, and some graphics improvement. Also, please consider some calibrations for tilt as its turning is too sharp and not fluid and natural.
Best Game Ever but please make the radio to work and play songs you chose via your play music and to make it realistic add potholes and staff... and on bus t07 use the original marcopolo torino Mercedes-Benz sound
Could be better with the language, spanish isnt the only language we all speak. The game crashes, if you want to leave the game and go to the menu you would have to hit the back button on your device to go to the menu. If you hit the button in game, it'll exit the game. Overall very good game :).
I have no idea how can it be in PC but in my experience on mobile on highest graphics setting on galaxy note 10 plus was the worse simulator I ever played, what is this really? It's not game, not simulator, something like 10% of the game from 10 years ago. Very disappointed after install it for the 4th times after friends told me game now is complete but it was horrible. (EDIT): people want share maps and vehicles can use awsome simulator like BUSSID not this horrible joke software.
I don't know what to say but I know what to say this game is going really well and amazing and there was an update for the year of 2022 and every day I go on it shows fireworks.
It is a good bus simulator I ever seen. It cames with a little amount of bus and map to choose from. But, you can download the bus and the map at their website. Pretty convenient. For the ads, I can accept that cause the ads only show before you start drive. Really love this game. Recommended
A lot improvements from the previous version. Now bus cannot go through the buildings but still invisible to another vehicle like you drive a ghost bus. I hope on the next update you will fix this and add some potholes and speed bump on the road to make it more realistic.
This is a epic game that is basically Omsi 2 for Mobile. Keep up to excellent work. For your next update could please add a feature where you can add voice pack's so you can understand what the passengers are saying and could you add passengers in a wheelchair to make the game more challenging and fun and exciting for players. Also, I will say that the only downside to this game is that is does not have Xbox Series X/S controller support. I think that would be an excellent touch to the game.
