Province

Decent and clean layout. B.C. news app just like the Province paper always has been. A little basic and could be more interactive. Looking at some of the other comments, these might be setting issues as I haven't any of these issues. Different O/S maybe?

Was good. Now every news article is incredibly slow to scroll through. Might be the new ads in the middle of each article. At this point its unusable because of how slow the scrolling is.

This is a horrible app. It is frustrating to use, the layout is jumbled. You read a story and then the app doesn't take you to the next story, it takes you wherever it wants. How is it that you can't design a decent app?

Not liking the app since it changed. Every time I read a story I'm all of a sudden back at the top of the page. Bring back the old app, was way better

Was a decent app when it worked on my Android phone. Now its stopped working. Tried to uninstall and reinstall but doesn't work. Rubbish.

This app stopped working 2 years ago so I uninstalled it. I just downloaded this app this morning after 2 years & it still isn't working.

just reinstalling my app because the pictures weren't working apparently other people are having the same issue. Get it together

Freezes, crashes doesn't remember where you left off on a story.

The articles are all mixed up and jumbled. The article will have a picture that had nothing to do with the story posted, and then have the headline not match the content. What's the point of the headlines don't match the stories. Update: 6/01/20 - Now the app doesn't display images. All images fail to load.

The app works but leaves a lot to be desired .

I don't need a "breaking news" notification every day. Street closures and off-season sports updates are not breaking news. Incredibly annoying.

Most recent update has ruined this App completely. I hate the way it's set up. It used to be so easy to navigate but now it confusing and after years of having this app, using it daily I am I am now deleting it from my phone

It used to be great but some great mind screwed it up to junk status

Used to give you the best selection of top stories from the Province. However since they switched formats, the stories are not updated, and the content within the stories is all mixed up. It's like they took the real article threw it into a blender and then posted it on the app. Also they often refer to multimedia content, but the content is not there, nor is a link to view it from an external source. Do yourselves a favor, Province. Just remove this app from the store and stick to print and the web.

Read my Province app for years at least twice a day... Hate the new version and have deleted it, will check back in awhile to see if things have changed until then I will not be a Province reader

Used to be my go-to app for local and sports news. Now this is garbage, stories are not updated, pictures/titles/content misleading and very unorganized. It has been like this for months!! You lost a loyal subscriber. Uninstall.

Takes days to refresh stories. Nothing new till Weds/Thurs every week. Totally unacceptable with today's technology.

Older version just stopped working and latest version is not nearly as good. It's not worth the added effort of trying to use it. Being removed.

Since last update it simply does not work. Data unavailable all the time for last few days.

The app is not great. Stories under wrong titles. Province never responds to emails about the issue nor do they seem to fix it. I read other papers this way and you rarely see errors. Your sports articles are the worst to this

Much smoother and easier to read. The ads are pretty big though. But i guess with newspaper sales going way done you got to get money somewhere.

No FB comments, slow update of articles and no top stories.

This is horrible. The stories have not been updated in days.

This app now seldom updates it's stories. And to think newspapers are going out of business. This app is worse !

Shabby editing, many times story doesn't mach the link, never updated. I have had this app for years and I am now deleting it because of the latest feature, it will now play a 30 second ad when you click a story.

What is going on? Why havent the stories changed for days now. If there is a problem at least make us aware. I will uninstall soon if i dont get answers.

Won't update the news stories AGAIN! Has had the same stories for 2-3 days. Used to be way better, thinking of just deleting app now.
