Since the update a few months ago the cameras constantly flicker on start up about 10 times before it stops. Then I cannot view any alarm messages as they disappear when I open the app even though I get an alert. I would prefer the old version app. Please fix ASAP.
Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra receives notifications notifications in my notification bar but won't play. When I click on the provision Cam 2 Notification icon in the app it shows no it shows no new notifications for me to view. This issue must be resolved.
Great app !!!... I can view my Dogs when I'm away from home. However, in the last mobile app release (1.8.7), I can't add my DVR to my Provision account. It says: "The device version is too low. Please upgrade." - My Provision DVR: SA-4100AHD-1(MM) - Current DVR Firmware: 3.4.3.P-3520A-13 (It was recently installed successfully by myself).
This app is super delayed. Takes forever to open. Whenever I need to view something on the camera I have a better chance of seeing it if I get up and physically go to the gate to see. Hate this app, feels useless!
Despite other critical reviews I feel that this software delivers a lot more than expected. A lot more. Maybe my expectations are low, but I find this software to be stable, intuitive, and comprehensive. Well done to the devs. I've used the desktop software as well, and also the embedded recorder software, and the Android version is not shamed by any stretch of the imagination.
Works, but it is slow on starting because it wants to connect all camerasystems, and I have a lot. Should only connect what is shown. Also when turning off screen and later back on, the camera last shown is not reconnecting. Most important is the yellow color of motion in the playback, it is hard to see on the white in landscape mode.
I would have given them five stars, but their tec support were horrible. I couldn't connect outside my LAN. called their tec support. They were short tempered and arrogant, and still couldn't solve the issue. Finally I watched some YouTube videos and figured out that all I had to do is scan the barcode from the screen. Luckily I didn't make the changes their tec team said i had to do to my router. They should definitely train their outsourced support team better or get rid of them!
Since the app update (Jan 2022), availability of camera images is unreliable and very difficult to diagnose or correct independently
The App is very intuitive and user friendly. It allows you to manage all the connected CCTV devices and different functions very easily! If you have a Fisheye camera connected to it you can get different view modes such as Virtual Reality! So cool! I'm also managing face recognition through the Provision Cam 2 App: I can select an image from my album ore take a picture of the face directly from the App! This way I can build my face database directly from my phone!
-Love the app, use it everyday since we have cams around 6 properties. - only problem now, with the last update, the app is extremely slow to open the cams. Previous version worked fine. Maybe just have a look into it. Nonetheless, you got my support. Thanks
Can't view cameras at all. Worked well then stopped working all together. No matter if I restart my phone, delete and install the app, go on different networks, nothing works. Settings don't even come up when I click them. App went from a 5 to a 0 in a second.
It works great on my almost 5 year old phone. Video seeking over network is lightning fast. Some options are missing that are available on the NVR, but it's not a deal breaker. I'm very satisfied!
It used to work fine but I can no longer connect to my server at home. So the whole installation is useless to me. No amount of re-booting, restoring factory settings etc on the dvr and re-installing the app seem to help.
Does what it says on the box, shows the camera stream and allows playback, but the interface is a dogshow. Buttons arent consistently sized, scrolling the timeline jumps around when you're zoomed in. Great concept, below average execution.
I used this app before on my IPhone, it worked, but user interface is so unprofessional, unintuitive and not user friendly that I used probably only 10% of the app functionality. Recently, I switched to android OnePlus Nord N10 5G, configured the app, but it falls to connect to server, so it's even worse then before.
Was working fine until news new update, my screen brightness is half of what it was, can't seem to fix it. Can only really see it in a dark room. And the misses app doesn't keep her logged in, she has to re login every time. Very annoying, please explain and fix.
Works reasonably well. One thing bothers the hell out of me: after the latest update every time I open the app it changes the brightness settings to full bright this is so over the top. I should at least be able to turn this feature off!
After the app updated on the 6 Nov the brightness of my screen is so bad that my screen is almost black in day time. Restarted my phone a few times etc..nothing seems to work!! I can almost see nothing during day time on my cameras. Please fix it asap!!
Your app has crashed well at least on my end all screens show coffee cups give me no option to login nothing works. The app is up to date and I have also uninstalled it and reinstalled it to see if that would help. I was working the other day but now it's not.
What happen in the last update? No benefits only ts issues.now image flickers at the start of the app.please give option to revert
works well, however after the last update the screen brightness it's so low that you can't see anything. also it doesn't allow you to chnage the screen brightness manually either. you need to fix this issue please. it's very very very difficult to see the cameras with such low screen brightness.
Using Samsung s8, playback does not always work when changing the time to playback. Cameras on second page of cameras do not show preview. Looks like the application is not fully tested.
App does not want to connect. Once qr code is scanned it says connection and then just timed out. Have tried different phones and wifi. But still it does not work.. Can anyone assist?
Don't waste your time with purchasing anything to do with provision. The app especially does not work. If you're buying the dvr because it has an app which you can view your cameras on a mobile device, don't bother. Save your money. Get a different dvr.
After the last update can't ff or backward during playback
After updating the app, videos not saving to local storage. Please fix it.
Please add "don't show again" checkbox to the "don't use more than 9 cams at once" message.
Still not fixes 23 Mar 22. Since the update I have numerous problems from connection losses at startup to 10x reconnection when connecting via server list. The notifications show a number of triggers on the main screen but when selecting it, it will open the app and show no notifications in the app. All notifications on the main screen are then cleared and cannot be viewed again.
