Proximus TV

Good app but could be improved. It cannot remember my login/password which should be a basic feature. Not being able to pin favourite channels is also a pain. Have to swipe a lot to get to the channels I like.

No Google TV app and too many problems with Chromecast, with the screen going black every 3 to 5 minutes.. and Proximus doesn't seem remotely interested in solving these problems. To the extent that it really looks more like a deliberate action or strategy. Totally unacceptable to treat your customers like this.

It's incredible that this app doesn't have a search box to find channels quicker. You have to scroll and scroll to find them. Also, it doesn't have last channels viewed, so you don't have to go and find that last-accessed channel again. And finally, it doesn't have a favorites feature so that you can add only your favorite channels to this list. Other than that, channels play properly and look very good quality.

I have been trying to watch something a few times, but it is a bit hopeless... Streaming works well, and it is possible to watch live programs as well as those already broadcasted, but... Finding the channel is a nightmare - no favorites, no searching, no filtering (except arbitrary few filters that are pre-set). After scrolling for minutes through the list of channels, I gave up.

The new interface is harder to use, with the tv guide requiring some 30 swipes to get to 3 digit channels, and no search function in sight. It also removes useful, if rarely-used features, such as the remote control interface and the watch on tv button. To round it all up, the app also uses data while not in use (1GB in a night for no apparent reason). Worse than the previous version by any metric other than looks.

It would be really nice to have a feature to automatically shut down the app after a given period (configurable) of inactivity. Like this: after 1h, if the screen/button has not been touched, display a message that the app will stop itself if nothing is done (touch screen/use volume button). It should be an option of course. Thank you!

The tv guide doesn't give you an overview of what's airing (it did in the past)... Not practical Edit: Thanks for the feedback, however, I actually meant that you don't have a grid to compare multiple channels at once, it was pretty useful in the previous app versions.

This has to be the worst app of Proximus... so far Feedback to Pickx-App team: Many times I couldn't log on, even after assistance by the helpdesk. When I could logged on, it was possible to use the app and it was responsive, no issues here 👍 I could select a program and play it. The thing is, most of the times the app crashed after 1-20 minutes. The only solution was to try to log on again, which was nearly impossible; casting to chromecast failed everytime. I use a stock Android 10 btw

You already have to be determined to watch a show, because the app barely works. navigation is sluggish and the "live tv" overview gets stuck. Chromecast kind of works but app gets unresponsive after a while (just a black screen) so you need to kill it and restart it, just to stop the chromecast. If stream halts, it may forget your position and restart, with _no_ way to fast forward. You really think I'm gonna watch half that movie _again_? Maybe it works better as bait for a hardware decoder.

This app doesn't work on my phones - crashes on both Pixel3 and Oneplus 1. Based on reviews, it looks like most are facing the issues. Proxymus is wasting customer's time by giving buggy apps. Looks like customers is their software testing team. Reply - I don't want to debug the issues. Your team can simulate the App on AVD manager and can reproduce the issue.

Chromecast doesn't work, even if it manages to connect it would show something went wrong. Any other chromecast compatible app works flawlessly. I cannot fathom the idea that any app Proximus (and other providers) releases is riddled with bugs and even the most basic functionality will not work.

Can't cast on a device longer than X minutes ... Can't you guys keep a wake lock or something else that does not kill the ongoing cast Edit: well this is all the details so do me a favour and send that to the mail you just copied. I'm sure you guys can try to use your app and cast it somewhere ... The football is a great test scenario... I wish we could put -1 star ... Now the cast is just black... Mirroring my phone via cast works better than your really bad app. Hire talented people please!

The app is very, very unstable and absolutely not a finished product in any way, shape or form. Casting doesn't work at all and streaming sometimes just freezes (not the buffering but the media freezes). Very representative of Proximus as a company

Previous version has been blocked by provider, forcing me to upgrade to the new crappy version. New user interface is unusable, a textbook example of poor design. If this new user interface is a preview of things to come, then you should be deeply ashamed.

There is not a single day that this app just works. Frustrating, horrible. If the app works for once and a tv program is actually showing on tv, it will stop after 20 minutes and just turn black.

Updated: Initially there were issues that now seem to be addressed with the combination of latest app update and OS update. Would be nice to have a search function for channels and shows and also potentially the option to operate your phone as a remote for the digicorder.

Possibly one of the worst app I've used. Keeps crashing. No way the search for tv channel directly. Chromecast connection crashes. Gives me only dutch channels on my home page when we are french... The list goes on...

Had it on my phone for year. not sure why I haven't uninstalled it. Very few providers. Casting hardly works.. crashes lots. Yeah I think it's time to remove it.

Okay-ish application... Too bad it can't be installed on an Android TV or Android TV Box (like the Nvidia shield). It had been announced on the forums that an Android TV compatible version would be released with the new V7 decoder but it's not there yet and no release date was given.

app closes unexpectedly as before, so I do not see any result of the bugfixes. Even worse: when i record a program at home, I cannot fastforward anymore when playing on my smartphone..

Used to be able to connect to tv via wifi. Since the update it just turns the tv black... so there is some kind of signal, just no output... In general is a very slow app

Great app and easy to use nice one good and handy app to watch series and movies on the go thank you proximal. I love I!!!!

Useless app for a tv box. The tv guide needs to be rotated by 90 degrees to provide a proper overview of senders and programs. Right now shows anything but what is really needed /usefull... Ads, on the TV box? The subscription i am paying for? What are you smoking?

Missing the remote ability... It seems to me that this update is 3 steps backwards in terms of functionalityies and then you promess 1 steps forward in the next updates!!! Looking forward to the future update.

Such a disappointing app. Can't get any of the channels to load via the app ("Stream not available"). Tried with mobile data and WiFi. Channels load on the website, though.
