The iTunes version of this app is much better in that you can change the speed of the tunes and scroll through the music. I would rate this app much higher if the same features were present in the android version. Please make this happen in an update!
I bought this because of a Joel Beeke recommendation, however I'm a bit disappointed; my biggest gripe is it plays the music far too slowly. I download the tunes from other sources and play them which works but is a pain. If they could be a better pace I would love it.
This is a great Psalter app. The user interface is straight forward and easy to use. I really like that the tune is with each Psalm and that makes it easy for folks that are new to this Psalter or even Psalms.
This is a wonderful app help you sing the Psalms. I love that you can play the tune and know the starting key-- No pitch pipe required
As an exclusive Psalmist in worship unto the Lord find these to be one of the easier to sing for worship for someone who is not musically inclined.
Love this! I can sing psalms anywhere.
wonderful to sing the Psalms of the Bible
New version of app is overall faster and the indexer makes finding a Psalm much quicker. I will make regular use of the new search function. Thanks developers!
This app (and the book) is awesome. It really helps bring to life Col. 3:16, Eph. 5:19, and James 5:13 for anyone desiring to worship God in any circumstance with songs that have been sung by thousands (millions?) of the faithful before us. What a blessing. I recommend it to all of my closest brothers and sisters in Christ.
Great Psalter for a former hymnodist like myself, and this certainly enriches me with theology hardly found in modern songs and hymns. Loving it so much! However, more translations could be made available as well (eg. Chinese Psalter for the BPW, and Japanese/Korean Psalters). Your labour of love would be greatly appreciated!
Been over a year since the last update... This app is not being maintained.
Glad the sheet music is on here now(even though I can't read it), however I'd like to see an update that makes the app better for tablets
It's good to see progress being made on this app. I'm glad to see that we have sheet music however it's somewhat distorted in portrait mode on the nexus 7.
Truly fantastic! The only disappointment is not having the sheet music available for the price.
"Sing Psalms, Hymns, and spiritual songs" make melody in your heart to the Prince of the kings of the earth... worship Christ with His words!
Kinda buggy on my nexus 7. Sometimes the song will stop before finishing all the verses.
Thank you so much for making this available! So pumped to use it in private worship!
We finally get the sheet music! Still a bit quirky but it will do. Rating raised.
the sheet music is now available for the android version :-)
Who made the app
Love it
It's great to have the psalms available on my phone. However, it would be really nice if you could add the actual written-out music (as is available on the ipod app) so we can read the tune, as well as listening to it.
The app will start to open but then gives a message that it has stopped working.
Mine has frozen up once or twice since I have had it but it works great. I appreciate it as I am learning the Psalter all over again. LOL.
Love this app, spoke with creator recently at Horn Creek and sheet music update is coming soon
Love it. Would like to see the notes/music in a future version.
Now I can sing the psalms wherever I am
I've been wondering if this would ever come out! I use my phone for every, and since I use ebooks a physical Psalter was becoming impractical, especially for travel. This marvelous app will be of great use. Thank God for this blessing!
I love the app. It would be very appreciated if you can provide an app like this for the Scottish psalter
I love being able to have these songs available at my fingertips wherever I go. The options for with music notes and just text is extremely, and the ability to zoom is absolutely necessary and helpful. I only wish that you had playback for the individual parts instead of the harmony since it's sometimes hard to differentiate the parts in the whole. I love being able to sing the Psalms, thanks so much for your hard work on this!
