PSPlay: Unlimited PS4 Remote Play

Almost perfect! The officia remote app works great on my device (Lenovo tablet runnning ChromeOS), but no matter what I do, I get a "controller not supported error. This led me to purchase PS play. Setup wasn't bad at all and the connection always works. However ... :( No matter what I do, there's always a studer every 10-15 seconds in game. I've gone up and down in bitrate, resolution, and enabled/disabled some of the advanced settings. No matter what, I can't play 100% smoothly. Otherwise, 5⭐

Not as good as remote play at all. Connection to the PS5 is unstable. Crashes my phone and chromecast constantly. Very fussy set up with the port forwarding getting that to work. There is a noticeable lag on the stream at all times and graphics constantly tearing on screen. Was using remote play no issues but that can't be put on the chromecast so thought I would try this and not impressed. Remote play is easier to us and far more stable when playing.

Working better than the playstations version of remote play plus I can use any Bluetooth controller I want. A little bit of a setup process but works great after everything is set up proper. I've only had 1 serious problem with this app and it occasionally crashes my phone after extended use on the s22 Ultra. Phone boots in seconds so it's only a minor inconvenience but other than that even with the occasionally problem I still highly recommend this app.

Great app, totally worth the money. Came for the third-party controller support, stayed for the quality customization and better performance than the official app. Suggestions: User interface could use some design and visual improvements, and a bandwidth/ping indicator would be helpful.

Very simple to set up. Have only tried over local connection so far but all I had to do was follow the promts and it worked right away. I use it with my Samsung phone and a razor Kishi controller. I have an ever so slight audio delay when using Bluetooth headphones but no input lag whatsoever.

Excellent, so much better than the official PS Remote Play app! The DualSense controller support works flawlessly (which is the main reason why I bought the app) and the stream runs just as well as the offical app does. If you're struggling with the official PS Remote Play app then I would definitely recommend this as an alternative. Take the time to set it up and mess around with some of the streaming settings and it'll work flawlessly.

Works way better than the official app. I can crank the graphics all the way up if i connect remotely via internet and play anywhere in the house. Well done. Haven't been able to get full remote play working with just cell data and haven't tried yet on another wifi network. Even without that this app is worth it!

Took some time to troubleshoot and forward ports on my router, but thanks to the guide included it only took me roughly 30 minutes to set up. After that, it works flawlessly, with features and usability better than the official version! After configuring the bit rate and resolution for optimal performance, I can now turn on and play as well as power down my PS4 from anywhere!

I purchased this app a while back, and had many troubles with it (although it was not the developers fault). I did a ton of troubleshooting, and it turns out my router was completely blocking everything despite doing all the correct things. I got a different router and now everything works perfectly, even remotely! Thank you again!

Everything works very well. You will have to tinker with the settings to find that sweet spot for less/no frame-rate drop... 1 major thing I'm still figuring out: I couldn't play with friends. I have access to online, yes. But when it comes to actually inviting someone to join, they couldn't join. This is currently only on "Elden Ring", so I'll test out other games. 👍🏾

Locally it works quite well, lots of options and customization, streaming works well. I manged to connect remotely thanks to the developer's help. The automatic connect feature really helped a lot. The developer is very active and responds fast, so don't hesitate to reach him if you're running into connection issues.

A SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE. My only request, please add more zoom level options. Instead of just being zoomed to fit or cropping. I have a galaxy fold and I just want to zoom in a little without the full zoom cropping out so much content. Other than that, thanks for the awesome app.

It's impossible for me to set port forwarding with cox panoramic wifi. I loved the local connect setting but it's useless to me if I travel and want to play remotely. Think I'll get a refund. If the developer could reach out to me and help that would also be appreciated

I can't say how great this app is. It destroys the PlayStation remote play app in terms of basically everything. The picture is crystal clear. (Go into the settings for the highest quality) best 5.99 I've ever spent.

Giving it one star because many people are having issues with remote play when all they have to do is turn on Automatic remote connection, The developer is such an idiot he can easily avoid all the bad reviews by having people download the app with AUTOMATIC REMOTE CONNECTION TURNED ON BY DEFAULT!.

works way better than Sonys official Remote Play. Remote play makes me reconnect at least 8 times any day I try to do remote play. I didnt have to reconnect once in 6 hours on PSPlay. Great app and A MUST for anyone that has to play remotely for whatever reason.

setting up can be kinda a hassle. The directions are very precise but it definitely takes some troubleshooting on your part. the performance is decent the fps can be really spotty sometimes and when youre in the middle of a game it can be frustrating. Overall not bad, really cool concept, but not quite as good as one would hope

Exactly what I wanted. Works better than the PlayStation remote play app & it allows you to use mobile data. Setting up your router and I.P. connection the 1st time can be tedious but they have step by step guides for all brands. FYI- You NEED strong/steady DATA/WIFI (8-10 mbps up/down) to both networks in order to avoid freezing & latency issues. If you still have quality issues you can go into streaming settings on the PSplay app and lower the resolution and refresh rate settings.

I'm using this over Sony's native app simply because this works on Amazon Kindle 10, and with the wireless Dual Sense controller. Well worth it. Took some tinkering to get it to work unlike the native app. But the Dev is very responsive and helpful.

Works well on local connect. I feel it's better than Sony's remote play and using other controllers is awesome. I have a Kishi and it works great. However, I can't get the remote connect to work. Tried all the options and followed all the instructions but no luck. Thats my only negative so far. Otherwise, I get to play my games anywhere in the house without being tethered to a TV. Makes me feel like I don't need Xbox game pass or Stadia. but if Remote Connect worked, it would be perfect for me

Edit: This was originally a 1 star review. Shortly after this I emailed the developer & they were so helpful. I slept a little late because they stayed up helping me out. We were able to find a solution. They also respond quickly. This is the best costumer service I've had. For those who have the same S21 issue, make sure that you disable game Booster plus & priority mode if you have that enabled. Maybe just disable the game plugins entirely. I hope this helps.

Fantastic app - lets me use remote play with any controller - including my Xbox and Kishi - and supports Android TV so I can play on my TV in the opposite room to the console. Works over data for me also, without having to mess with my WiFi. Honestly shockingly good and couldn't be more impressed - latancy isn't an issue, I've been fine to play Tekken via this.

Very good app, worth buying it, easy to use, but there are some issues with remote connect, automatic connects works well but disconnect frequently. Otherwise app is good local connect works like a charm

Great app, love the flexibility, one slight issue I have is gameplay freezing. When when I press the ps button to get to the main menu, it works again. Running a Mi Box S with my PS4. Other than the Mi Box S, everything is via ethernet. Have tested across multiple games and all of them appear to do this, I have also tested on lower graphic throughput in the PSPlay settings but it still occurs so I don't believe it is due to the WiFi. Other than the above it is awesome, My LOUD PS4 can be running in another room and I can play perfectly in another room.

I don't usually review apps but I just wanted to say how amazing this app is! I have bought an Odin Pro (gaming device) and I'll hopefully have it by the end of the month/early next month. Anyway, I've been wanting to play some PS4/5 games around the house sometimes like I do with the Nintendo Switch and this app gives me the flexibility to do just that. It was very easy to set up and works brilliantly - no noticeable lag or stutters with PS5 on LAN. Excellent app. 5*s from me!

Fantastic app....take the time to set everything up correctly and it's flawless. My router would not auto-configure but there are clear tutorials and links included that walked me through the process. Now I'm up and running playing my PS5 on the go!! Being able to use a 3rd party controller is great too. So much better than the official app. Highly recommended!!

When I click on remote connect it asks me to put in playstation ip address or router, I tried both and it says launch in non multi window mode dont exactly know what that means and than nothing happens? Any answers please? ...... Don't know how to reply on here but thanks for the quick response I went through settings and found an option stream works great super impressed! Thanks for everything!!!!

Was very hesitant to get this as just a drop in the bucket and still issues with ps remote play. After small trial and error learning curve it's very simple and on top of that works great. I commend the developer on a great job and deserves to be paid appropriately. Don't pass this app up it is worth more than the price.

Phenomenal Performance Using PS5 with a Netgear Nighthawk router, gigabit internet, and a cheap moto Z4 phone paired with PS5 controller. I was lucky, the initial setup was automatically configured. Thought I needed wifi but my phone internet works great too. Honestly couldn't believe it worked! Lag is about 1/4 second to 1 second depending on internet strength. Same for video but definitely definitely manageable. Solid is the keyword. Still can't believe this works as good as it does. Nice job!

The app doesn't function the way it claims it will. To emulate a PS4 dual shock or a PS5 controller your app needs to allow (or allow by override) multiple touches at the same time. I can't play ANY game that requires more than a single button press at once. Example: moving a character around (left analog) while looking around (right analog) creates a single recognized touch-point halfway between where my two thumbs touch. Works that way if any 2 buttons are touched simultaneously. Refund plz
