PTCB Calculations Questions

I've been taking the PTU course over the past few months so I'm prepared for the info needed in this practice exam. The explanations are helpful when you already know what you're doing, and when I look at them from the perspective of someone who's coming in with no prior knowledge, they're still helpful if maybe a little overwhelming. The only problem I have with this app is that after I purchased the premium version I can no longer open it except from the store. Irritating.

Some answers involving percentages don't make sense. I'm terrible at math, but even I know that if you are trying to find out what 9% of a number is, you multiply it by 0.09. This app would confuse 0.09 and 0.09%. Most of the calculations involve percentages, which makes this app's usefulness minimal. If the developers offered refunds, I wouldn't have rated it quite as low. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt the need to warn others.

This doesn't prepare you in the slightest for the PTCE. The very few free questions it provides are so inanely simple and single-focused, to use this app is to set yourself up for failure. ***Go to your local library and get a study guide instead (I'm finding Barron's to be incredibly useful and insightful).***

The appb has a very large variety of questions once you pay. I liked how it tracked my exams and kept records of my progress. It helped me realize which subjects i had to master, so i used outside resources as well. This app needs more math questions and better explanations. Boy was I anxious, i passed and the test was a piece of cake.

Very good at helping explain calculations if you aren't familiar with them. I used this (upgraded) and the Pocket Prep PTCE app (upgraded Ultimate) and just passed my PTCE. I used other materials, but the two apps helped a lot

This app is 14.99 and useless. When I go to open the app it does not fully open unless I go to the play store and open it from there. This app is not informative and does not give you all the information you need to study and pass your exam. The explanations need to be more clear and broken down. There is mostly the math portions in the tests and not the Pharmacology Laws, regulations, and other vital things needed to pass. Will not use this app and wish I could get my money back.

I passed my exam. I paid for the app. This app made it so I could answer math questions on the test. I could do all the math on the app, and it was good prep for the test. With other reading of a study book I passed without taking classes.

A great app which I find very helpful. Using it daily to practice for my first exam scheduled this month. Question of the day is a great reminder!

Very helpful for practicing calculations. Wish it had a larger database of questions.

I paid $14.95. to upgrade my app questions. if you have problem with calculating dose, percentage etc I highly recommand this app. other subjects you need use different web site to practice and read your book before test.

At first I paid 14.99 for this app at first and it was helping me. Now I have to pay another 14.00 dollars to upgrade the app, this is not cool

Downloaded the app a few days before my exam and passed on first attempt. Very helpful for getting to know the mathematical questions you may be asked.

Bought the app and am now getting a request for more more money. Features were turned off. I can no longer make quizzes and have access to only one set of ten questions. I wouldn't have purchased the app if I knew I would only get 10 questions then be asked for more money.

This app has been very helpful with prep for my exam. There was a hiccup with my account. However the support team responded very quickly and alleviated the stress it caused. I will update when I pass the exam. Update: I passed! This app made the test so much easier!
