Public Surplus Buyers App

Filtering after region selection not updated to match sellers (Texas, have not checked other states). Also, filtering needs further attention, only lets you choose one option. So far, the app works very well.

Been a year since my review and I've had to verify my address MONTHLY by giving my CC info. Whoever runs it has the IQ of a street sign. Site is 100% unusable. They want you to verify your email and then once you do that they want to verify your address using a credit card. We'll, once you do that it never leaves the page and you can't browse or search they just keep asking for you to give them a $1. Haven't been able to use the site in 9 months.

App is a Dog. Slow and hard to use. Really bad on a non optimal data connection. Better to just use the website on a mobile browser

The app is a good start, but is not worth downloading! If you select a region and look at an item, then want to look at another item, the app will take you back to the opening page and you need to re-select the region and city, then scroll back to the item you wanted to see next... Like I said " Not worth downloading" the website is very usable on all devices and a much happoer user experience than the app...

Great app but very annoying. It has had me confirm my email address almost every time I log in. But having to do that I lost valuable time to rebid on an item I wanted. It is also had to select regional sellers at times. I pit in the state it just automatically displays the state items but makes it hard to switch in between regional auction sellers. The website is much better than the app.

The home page NEVER loads, click on any screen to navigate and you get the forever loading circle. Login, logout, Uninstall reinstall, doesn't make a difference. This app is broken. Update: 5 months later and things still won't load properly. Your very lucky to even get to bid on anything. You just get the never ending loading circle then server not responding error. 😒

I love this auction site. Sad North and South Carolina doesn't contribute. All school districts and utilities companies should really consider using this app if they don't have something set in place already for selling their surplus. If there is another auction surplus app please I'd love to see it. Thanks.

Terrible app. Lets you log in, yes, and even view items. But once you close it out and try to access it again, it tells you there is a connection error and you can't access anything. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall but got the same results. Horrible.

This was a 4 star, now it's a negative 1 star until the app is repaired AND accessible again. I expected the app to open and work, at least as good as it did in Sept21. It does not. Over the New Year weekend, access was denied, network error. Today is Tuesday. It is still not working, and is giving the same error message, the same one as another person mentioned back in Nov21, "Error Network error. Please try again later." Rather disappointing, I must say.

If your looking for stuff that's somewhat used and still looks new and in bulk. And you can Bid on it.. Mostly State offices yearly purge of old office furniture, computers, vehicles etc. The bidding structure could be updated or restructured...

Broken app Continual "network" app errors while network and all other apps work perfectly. Uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times with no improvement. Should have had a dev test prior to publishing.

horrible app you are not allowed to view or ask questions about items therefore if you do not have a desktop computer you will not get all the information. Just remember when the seller says it runs and when you show up and the engine is frozen solid they hide behind the disclaimer.

Confirming your email almost every time you open the app is beyond annoying, if they fixed this it would make it way better, no other issues with the app.

This isn't such a bad app except for it's really irritating that every time you want to raise the bid on something you have to check in each time to make a new bid. I think that's just a little ridiculous.

It's good to track my bids when away from my PC. You will need to use the website for full features but the app does fairly well.

I love public surplus! I just recently updated the app and now all I get is "network error" and I can't access any content. Please fix the app so I can buy stuff on your platform.

Copy paste disabled! One of the key workflows for buying public surplus is to do research on items to evaluate cost benefit. When you can't copy model number and brand name text from the app to do that it becomes an exercise in frustration.

Could be way better. Does not show questions and answers. Also dosent show if there are any uploads or documents that have been uploaded. Can only be viewed on the website

Installed/uninstalled several times. Every time I restart and try to sign in I get this message: "Error! Network Error. Please try again later."

My husband has a account and because he paid for my auction i got a email saying i had a duplicate account and they shut mine off after winning several bids. They can check im sure our ip are different and being married would have the same address and use some of the same payment methods. So im very upset.

love the app but recently every time I open it it says network error and wont let me do anything with the page I even tried reinstalling it and it still says network error.

I love this app. It is easy to navigate and I can check out my favorite auctions and bid on items I want from my android.

Welp, ERROR: " server not responding. Please try again later." Made for a losing last 2 minutes of my auction! Lame!

no icon ...I have to access through playstore everytime I use this app....2nd time I tried to access, locked up and would not load.....horrible app

I wish you could see the Q&A for the listing like the web version and also look at the vin history that shows the specs of the vehicles.

Takes to long to load or never loads. Uninstalled! As many low reviews this app gets, someone needs to get off their behind and build an app worth using!
