I'm very unhappy with this app. Given it's high number of downloads, and some good reviews, I thought it may be worth it. However, once in the app, I was met with a one hour wait standard wait time to view my document. Once I'd waited, the document came through quite unclear and distorted, unlike the real document. I'm very annoyed about waiting an hour to get poor quality results. Don't recommend personally.
The app does it job, which is why I gave it two stars. However, the fact it literally holds your files hostage for an hour unless you drop $9.99 is horses***. It would be more worthwhile if it adjusted the wait time or cost depending on how many files you were converting. But no. It's 1 hour or $9.99 regardless of if you're converting 1 file or 100 files. So, installed it, waited 1 hour to convert my 1 file, and immediately uninstalled. Only use if you have the time/money to waste.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD. The worst app ever. The developers need to go back to school. Took an hour on the free version which I have no problem with but the pdf was basically useless. I made a label and what was converted was a text box outline and 1 word that was barely visible. If you know your app is worthless don't make us waste our time.
This app takes 1 hour to make a conversion in the free version of it and only accepts 1 conversion at a time. I wanted to convert to Publisher documents and I was supposed to wait 2 hours. Vey poor interface and uneasy to use.
I agree that not including the hour wait to use this app feels sketchy and an attempt to make someone in a hurry just pay to upgrade to avoid dealing with it. But I did really like the fact that it automatically found the file for me to convert it. If I had an hour to wait around to find out what my landlord wanted, maybe I'd have kept this app.... but probably not. I'd lose focus after waiting an hour, and who wants that?
Attempted to charge for a simple file conversion and if you didnt pay you had to wait several hours for the file It was quicker for me to walk to the library, wait for a computer, email myself the file from my phone, then save it as a PDF during the download process. And the cherry on top, the app failed to convert the file.
Wait an hour? I Googled , "convert .pub to .pdf." picked a site, then had my document converted and saved. All that in less than 10 min and it was 100% free. BTW: My service where I am at is pretty slow, so you may get it done even quicker than that.
Rubbish app. Will make you wait an hour to convert and then says "conversion failed'. Gives you the option to pay 79p for 'fast conversions' but I've obviously just been scammed because they supposedly should only take '10 seconds' which is a complete lie so save your time and money by avoiding this app
Doesn't work! Waited an hour for it to convert a file I needed to pdf. It was completely blank when it had finished. Glad I wasn't fooled into paying to convert it instantly. Total con!
1 hour wait time is the most ridiculous way to try and get people to pay. I'd rather an ad, needless to say I uninstalled it immediately and went with a better app.
Doesn't work. Just get a spinning wheel. Unfortunately I paid for an instant convert as was in a rush. Then read the reviews after it didn't work. Don't download.
Does what it says. Nice UI. Free option delays conversion 1 hour. i can wait, especially if the outcome is as perfect as this. nice job.
Scam - provides minimal service that could simply be found for free on your PC if you're patient enough to get to it. If you want faster service you're going to have to buy it at $.99 per conversion.
It took an hour to convert my file to a pdf and it gave me back a blank file. Not impressed.
Yes, it takes an hour to convert for free. But just as any other service, do you want it quick? You pay for it! We people are so entitled! Short story, this app has been very helpful to me, works without issues. Thank you!
I used the free version of Publisher to try it out and it worked well. It was slow but then I wasn't in a hurry. I will probably upgrade to the fast version, it is simple to use.
Works fine but the fact you have to pay for it to not take an hour is practically hilarious... I'd rather have an ad every 10 seconds, literally...
Terrible app conversion doesn't take long and for the app to be useful you have to pay an absurd amount when you can easily do it for free
Takes an hour, at least, to convert files. The paid version costs $13 (that converts quicker) which is overpriced imo.
Only free for an hour long conversion. If you pay for faster, then you can only convert documents immediately, even though it days you can convert more. Slow and miskeading5
excellent app, it has saved the day. if you like a bit of free stuff, be patient because it is good. i left it overnight to convert , and wow.
i dont understand why this takes one hour? like maybe include ads in the free version because some of us don't have time to waste waiting for your stupid app to convert our files :/
I found this app useful as my homework was on a publisher and I don't have publisher. This app, although takes an hour to convert without paying, is helpful.
free if you can wait. have a small business and sometimes folks can do publisher files and some want pdfs. did the job in about an hour for a one page flyer. would use again
this app is a waste of time. it told me it would take just 1 hour to convert the file. I waited about 2 hours and the file was never converted.
They don't tell you ahead of time that it costs $6.99 to convert a file. I deleted the app almost as soon as I downloaded it.
You have to pay big bucks for a conversion or else it'll take an hour. I wish they were upfront about this before installing and wasting my time. UNINSTALLING
I understand that the makers need money but i am annoyed that you have to pay to get a quick conversion. I would much rather have an ads instead thought
Way too slow. It takes to convert 1 file 1 hour!!! I would give this an app -10 if I could
The app itself did a great job. Over all, I found it did the job its meant to do very well & would recommend it. It was a bit annoying to have to try it by doing a slow conversion for free. That took a little longer than an hour, but the price for fast conversions was reasonable enough that I upgraded. There's a Business version for $20 that will dobfar more than one file type which Im considering getting also.
