The deliveries are fine, but the app picks a store for them to shop from and it's not the closest one. With gas prices rising, it's not right to make the drivers go more than twice the distance. I've searched the app to pick a location and all it gives is a few Publix retail options, not specific locations. The item search feature is ridiculous. It gives too much clutter with options that don't even contain the key words and are completely unrelated.

Searching for, and adding items to the cart was a very easy and smooth experience. However, the app shut down randomly a couple of times, which was slightly annoying. I did like the fact that even though the app shut down, all my checkout details except my credit card information were retained. This shows good error-handling practices.

Can't get it to work, tried to order to pick up at my local store. Bad experience. Not gonna waste my time again. Glitches, can't set store location for pickup. My wife tried it, experienced similar frustration. Not worth it. Target app works so easy, Instacart needs to fix their software.

convenient but horribly overpriced. some foods cost as much as 2x the price for the exact same brand and quantity for the same item from walmart. Items on "sale" are still way overpriced. The prices are marked up on the app compared to the in-store items, and then you are charged extra fees plus the tip. The deli doesnt open until 10 am, but the app still lets you order deli food from the moment the store opens, only to be refunded. It is not unusual for half of your order to be refunded.

You not only pay a delivery fee, tip for driver, but everything is higher on the app than the store. This might be convenient but you will pay a significant amount extra. With the prices rising every day I refuse to pay even more! Delivery fee and tip is one thing but I'm not paying more for each product!

This is the second time I ordered from this app, I'm now building my grocery list through the app. I think it's great to have a favorites button to keep everything in one area! My first delivery was with Rachael W, I wish there was a way to REQUEST the delivery person I'd like to deliver to us, we really liked her!

The deliver has been fast the replacements have been good. However the search results are frustratingly terrible. Completely bogged down by sponsors and random loosely associated items make it hard to choose a particular brand of a specific item. Also in the filter section there is NO Publix brand filter. Which is actually the brand I most often purchase. I would refine your search programming and find a better way to showcase your sponsors.

Dreadful, don't risk it. Delivery times are not reliable, and customer service is non- existent. Instacart reps are overseas work at home agents with little or no accountability. After being hung up and threatened, I was able to get a small amount of cooperation. Overall an incredibly stressful service, will NEVER use again. Save urself some pain and pick it up.

App crashes constantly while using. After spending multiple hours ordering a very large order in increments whenever the app decided to work, it wouldn't let me place my order. But it didn't tell me why, it just kept saying to try again later. Chat help was no help. So I tried multiple things... Removing items to lower the total $ of order, lower the number of items and then finally, reducing heavy items. That worked. But then when order was out for delivery, the driver canceled it. Never got!

App is decent, prices are quite a bit higher, and I have had my fair share of deliveries gone wrong. It's usually solved, but if you order 10 hot dog buns, and 10 hot dogs. And get the buns, but not the dogs, the hell am I supposed to do with the buns. What made me give 2 stars. The free trial, if you don't cancel it (my fault, I get it) it will renew for the annual subscription default, $99 dollars. Which will make a lovely surprise. They refund it, 5-10 days later. But it's dirty tactic.

Delivery was only worth it when there was a $10 minimum. After ordering hundreds of dollars in groceries and deliveries it is unfair to penalize me with a $7.99 fee when I forget something. Ridiculous.

Could not sign on through app to order today. Supposedly had to finish set up via email?! Have been using for 2 years.. had already been set up. Never got email. Had to sign on through Google, but then didn't show my instacart express so had to pay delivery fee.

Prices are a little high but I'm thankful for the convince of delivery. Update: had to take a star back because it's been very glitchy lately, I have to constantly reload the page. I missed out on picking my substitutions because of this, hopefully they'll ask before they pick.

The items I ordered ran out of stock, I was refunded and told to reorder the items later. The problem with that is that I had first time free delivery; making me reorder my items didn't give me the free delivery, even though I was not at fault. They should have asked me to wait until they had the items instead of refunding me and making me do it again. It was a huge inconvenience.

This app is getting worse. Rather than fix the issues that happen, they hide them. The most recent update made a change that no longer allows me to look at what was actually shopped but before I pick up my order. I used to use this to go inside the store and get what the shoppers missed, but was usually in the normal place, before getting my order delivered to my car. Now I'll have to get my order to my car and let it sit in the sun and heat while I go get what the shoppers couldn't find.

It was a pain having to go back and forth between the regular Publix app and the pickup / delivery app to find BOGOs, but we tolerated it. Today we found that BOGOs shown on the regular app are not available for pickup / delivery.

Every time I order they are out of chicken. They told instacart it would be 30 minutes. They could finish my order and my chicken would of been ready. My shopper refunded all my items and told me to reorder when the chicken was done. So I now I have placed my order again so I could get the chicken because he would not wait. I love publix

Not functional to send a gift. Tried to send to my friend's Florida address. At checkout, it couldn't verify my payment method because friend's address populated that field and would not let me edit. I'm keeping my money. App is worthless to me.

The app you use for payment is a disaster. I use my credit card and it always goes back to an old card that I don't want to use and then I'm told that there is a problem with my card, now I have been locked out for 24 hours. So much for getting my groceries. I have always loved Publix but that is starting to fade. I'm begging you to fix this.

I've not used delivery yet, but the two pickups we've done have been AWESOME. I drive up, they come out and load the car, and I go home! I love Publix, but this covid/mask madness has made grocery shopping a huge slog that I put off till the last possible second. Shoppers are always in a bad mood, and it's just … ugh. Except for not being able to use my own bags and make substitutions on the fly, pickup is pretty much perfect. I look forward to trying delivery soon.

Convenient to be able to order but the app is awkward to use. Checking out was not streamlined. It constantly prompts you to order more to get free delivery, even when you select pickup. It's also odd that I need a separate app to order with alongside the main Publix app. Not the most user friendly of the grocery apps. But gets the job done.

I'm done with this service. My order was not correctly filled. A refund for the missing items was issued, but i still don't have the missing items. I placed an order for the missing items. I was charged a delivery fee even though it was their screw up. Instead of delivering my missing items, they delivered someone elses order. So, I im sure they'll issue another refund, but all I really want is my pound of cheese! To date, not a single delivery has been 100% accurate.

App lacks Dark Mode and High Contrast Colors. There is a High Contrast Colors option but it doesn't work. I prefer to use the Instacart app for this reason instead.

I've had this service for 2 years. Paid my express membership religiously and used it frequently. Recently they made a new policy where if you go over your original total, even by $1 they take money off your debit card instead of ebt. They say it's for the extra product cost but somehow it's always $10. They never had trouble charging the original payment method before but I guess they have to get that cash somehow. I feel straight up scammed and am unfortunately having to cancel membership.

First time to use app.. A little frustrating as I was unable to add billing address for payment after building my list for curbside pickup. Called Publix they gave me Instacart #. but they could not assist with this app. They got Publix app support on phone but still unable to help. I finally switched over to delivery option to see if I could add there. This option requires delivery address so it auto populated billing address and I was able to switch back over to pickup and complete order.

The ease of app usage and navigation is 100%. The communication with the shopper and the replacement options are about 100%. But, the prices being set higher for online ordering is at the "line of ridiculousness". If I didn't have a choice but to order on-line at this present time, I DEFINITELY wouldn't.
