Puffin Browser Pro

The issue I had with the app itself, in one of it's latest updates is that it used to open tabs in the background so that I could actually continue browsing on the same tab. Now I have to do more to continue browsing on the tab, and seeing the tab I opened after. Also the fact that it closes tabs without at least letting me know which one. But it wouldn't be too problematic if I could just take the reading list (where all closed tabs go) as a .txt file and be able to see the what websites closed

Somewhat not as fast as the free version sonetimes when i search something it went blank for a moment, kinda annoying despite free version not like that, well atleast there's no ads or limitation browsing.. edited, it became way wores idk why sometimes the video doesn't load properly you need to go home then click the app again to work

I use puffin for a game I play on a chat site. It the only browser that allows me to compete with the bigger players. Now I cant keep up with them. I play as long as I can stay awake. Shouldn't b punished because I like to play a game for a long time

This app was so good but now they want more money so their discontinueing the good one so they can screw people with a subscription. This is a major disappointment I won't be migrating or even think about that garbage. I openly hope this move fails horribly you've lost me as a customer for good and I'm repealing my good word of mouth I've been giving you the last 3 years to everyone I said you were good to. What a waste of something so good

Not loading victoria secret web page. On either version. It loads fine in Chrome and opera. Needs to be fixed. I'm sure other sites don't load. I alpha and beta other apps. If you did this you'd find errors before releasing updates to all users

I've been a Puffin user for a long time, and I've put up with a lot of detrimental changes in that time. First it was the discontinuation of the free version on IOS. Then they ruined the Android version with excessive ads and usage limits. So I got the pro version. Now it's being ruined too, with tabs closing automatically, errors when you try to save to cloud storage and abysmal loading times. No way I'm paying a subscription fee for this s***. It's as if they're trying to drive users away now.

At one time I felt Puffin was the best browser for android, so I bought the Pro version. But not any more. Puffin continuously thinks the internet connection is down, or I need to authenticate again, when Chrome and Firefox work just fine. Puffin was a lot faster than other browsers, but the others have caught up. Right now if I open up the app I just get blank screens. I am not sure why you think I am using an old version, I am using 9.7.0.51211. Maybe at the time I posted it, the current version was 8.3. I am not sure I understand your first response, it definitely wasn't helpful. Several years after my comment, you respond that I wasn't on the current version and that my version was probably a pirated (or some other bad copy) version. But now you say Google Play Console knows my version, so the version should not have been an issue. So was the reason for your response just to try to discredit a bad review?

Older versions were far better from this newer ones it's slower down after last update since data centre update it's slower like other browsers not wicked fast anymore.

It was really great, but this new update has removed many abilities such as graphic APIs for games I was able to play, like stuff on unity and so forth, those 3D kinda games, please add more capabilities, after that's what Puffin was known for, being that unique more capable built in mobile browser, super sick, but we really need it to be that great again.

The app is now broken. I can't use the app while laying on my side, since the app goes into reverse portrait mode. (Reverse portrait is when the phone is upside down and decides to do portrait mode instead of staying in landscape mode

Good browser app for low-end android. I hope that u would add night mode soon. Edit: Starting yesterday, eventough i turn on my adblock, the ads still show up. I tried to re-install puffin, but today the adblock still doesn't work properly. Please fix this problem ASAP. Edit 2 : ad block already good and the loading page work properly now by re-install the apps. The pages I have troubled before were any pages, even google. If I ever find trouble again, I'll notify you

I'm so glad I was able to purchase this app years before its retirement was announced because I was somehow able to support the app development in my little way. This is the best browser I've ever used in terms of speed. I usually have two browsers for different needs. I'd change the other one from time to time, but Puffin has been and will always be the one that stays on my devices. It's that great, imo. Updates are provided from time to time, bugs always seem to be checked/fixed right away, and issues are rare. Lastly, the people behind the app are very responsive in and out of Play Store which goes to show that they truly care about the app and the users. What makes Puffin really great is the company/team behind it. Thank you so much for developing Puffin Browser Pro!

Good quality on most things done, just hating the newest update that completely removes incognito mode from the paid version. It's now just a hassle to switch between the two, and incognito also seems rushed on the other version. Like a blank browser searcher. It just seems like a downgrade, really.

Dogshit application. Was once good, now it is constantly and consistently updated to contain considerably fewer features and function with far less frequency. It'll only get worse, have fewer features, be harder to use, and cost you more money. I'm sorry Puffin, you were a fantastic, reliable browser for many years, but you have been Benjamin Buttoning for too long, and this condition has only been accelerating. Avoid this applicaton and its variants at all costs. It is the end of an era.

For a premium app one expects a clutter free experience . Why is my homepage filled with news feed ? Additionally there is no option to turnoff the newsfeeds . The speed is also extremely slow . Totally disappointed with the performance for a premium app . Apart from ads there is no difference between puffin pro and Google Chrome in the matter of speed . It's definitely not wickedly fast .

The new auto closing of more than 8 tabs 😂 and adding them on a Reading List without asking is very irritating. I don't know how an app that was fast simple and intuitive managed to be like that. Also open a new tab in the background removed. Th

While the app works great as a browser, I am annoyed that you can't turn off the reading list feature and I am forced to reopen a lot of tabs that I was planning to use in the near future so if you can give the option to turn it off that would be great, otherwise the rest works well and keep up the good work!

I've had a very long history with this browser, and I'd be lying if I said it wasn't an infuriating one. I only ever kept Puffin for this long because it happened to have the exact niche tools I needed for browsing. Now they say they want to phase it out in favor of a paid subscription. I am happy to say that was the motivation I needed to move to a new browser. It was good while it lasted, Puffin, but mark my words: when 2022 ends, you'll be nothing more than a distant memory. It's pretty good overall, my only issues is that flash theater doesn't seem to work anymore on the flash games. That might be because flash is discontinued, but I'm not sure. It would be amazing if it worked again.

Great app. Just keep in mind they plan to make it subscription based by 2023 while also making it $1/month. On a side note, I'd like to know how I can export my bookmarks? Sure, transferring bookmarks between devices both with puffin is simple, but I want to transfer my puffin bookmarks to browsers like Firefox or Google. Even importing bookmarks is confusing. Edit: I found a solution. Just export bookmarks to a PC branch of puffin, then export into html from there.

I used to use this app as my main browser. since they took out incognito mode I rarely use it now. did download the incognito app but does not allow bookmarks and add blocking is poor. if they allowed bookmarks in the incognito app and allowed me to import them from this browser and better add blocking I would use it more. still a good app but now I have to manually clear everything when I exit. if they would automatically "clear all browsing data" when I exit I would use this one more.

What the hell happened to desktop mode on TABLETS!?!? The option is completely absent on Galaxy tab S6. This is a PAID app, and flash is barely existent anymore!! Recently re-downloaded this app after years of not using it, and it's complete garbage now!

The new "feature" autoclosing of tabs into the "reading list" is getting on my nerves. There should be an option to disable this and leave it the way it was. It causes tabs to get disorganised more than if I had too many tabs open anyways, cause I have to reopen webpages again.

It's pretty decent but with the most recent update it keeps closing tabs and adding them to my reading list. I've looked and haven't found a way to disable this.

This is not fair i paid for the app and it was for life time and now you want to charge me monthly after you retire the browser. I don't mind paying monthly but refund my money first that I paid for lifetime. Your reply is irrelevant as I paid for life and I should not be charged even a penny for life for that matter. Period. Won't recommend app to anyone as your intentions seem pretty clear to get money out of users over time. I .sure you will charge more monthly after some time than now.

Now there is a split incognito browser that has zero of the functionality of the puffin pro. No Flash, no game pad- hell, no settings menu at all. Makes paying for pro absolutely pointless. What in the effing hell.
