Pulsar Music Player Pro

What a find !! My music library was in a mess!!! This has got to be one of the best apps I've ever used... I love been able to de-junk the display!!! I just have albums and artists showing ... excellent..I bought the pro version to check out the equaliser and wasn't disappointed.... It's only day one but I don't see any foreseeable problems in the future as long as they leave this really good app just as it is....I'm happy

I've been using this app since Google's Play music app died and I've loved it until recently when I've noticed for some songs it'll cut off the last 9 to 10 seconds of the song and I know it's not the audio file that's the issue because I can open it in other music players and it doesn't cut off the song. Hoping it's just a bug that they can fix with the next patch.

One thing I'm not a fan of is how the back button takes you to the previously browsed item, not necessarily to the top level of what you are browsing. This means that if you jumped between different artists or albums and press back you'll jump between them in reverse before arriving to the catalogue that you wish to browse (Artist for me). The eq function is alright.

Great outline music player, like the fact it puts in album art though you need the right tags for it to work. Went premium for the equalise to boost performance of Bluetooth speaker, worth it. Easy to edit tags & make play lists. Would be great to have a search feature to find data for songs with missing tags. Thanks & happy to recommended to others.

The folder browsing is horrible. It keeps bringing you all of the back to the top of the list. Great if you have 10 folders. Unusable when you have 100+. Go and get Gonemad Music Player Classic or Poweramp instead and be a lot happier. To be honest, I think the "developer" just ripped off someone else's player, so I wouldn't expect any kind of actual support or improvements. I regret my purchase.

App is fantastic, really nice UI, EQ presets to play around with or to make your own, an all around solid product. My one complaint is that sometimes, when setting a playlist to shuffle, the album artwork for some songs seems to also get shuffled to songs they don't belong to. Not the biggest issue in the world, but it is puzzling and slightly annoying.

While I like the music player, I have been having problems with pulsar not recognizing certain mp3 files. I've checked my files out on other music players and they show up. My biggest gripe with the folks at Pulsar is that even though I sent an email asking for support on this problem, they completely ignored me. Never heard back. So for their lack of suuport I give them 1 star. I am looking for a better mp3 player.

Excellent local music player. Extremely well done! It didn't take much use for me to find it well worth investing (support your devs) in the Pro Version. That was over a year ago and I'm still Very Pleased! I love being able to cast my local music from my device without having to put a copy in the cloud first! Highly Recommended!

Had been using JetAudio+ and after receiving a system update, it failed to play. Found Pulsar and have been very pleased ever since. Would have given 5 stars but I don't care for the way that you have to access the playlists from the 'hamburger' menu instead of the mode banner across the top. Very pleased otherwise. Thanks!

- Deleting playlists doesn't work. - Renaming playlists seems to work only the first time. - No serious customer support (they ask you to go register to a forum...) A mediocre app. It plays music, yes. But since it's not free I would expect at the very least decent playlist management and a way to open support tickets from the app.

Overall a good experience with this app. However, it always display two song names of the same song but only one of the two is playable. Likewise for folders, sometimes there are two of the same name. I tried clearing the cache but it doesn't work.

It used to work well but now it can't see 1/3 of my music collection and most artwork is not showing. No way report the bug from within the app that I can find. Only when I uninstalled it was there an option to leave feedback/comment. My other apps still play music no problem. Wish it worked like it used to.

Best offline music app, Everything you want in an app when there's no cell service or you just want your own music. Currently have 2tb of music on a SD and this app loads it all very fast regardless of format even the lossless types. No distortion Thank you for making a wonderful piece of software!

I have tried so many players and lost count. None compare to Pulsar+. I've been using it for years now and totally amazed at ease of use and all the features. You won't go wrong with this app. The only thing I would ask is that widget allow transparency.

Easy, straightforward interface, I really like the ringtone feature, it handles all of my ancient playlists created way back in the day with windows media player. I've been carrying about 200 gigs of music around for years and this has always been a mainstay app for me.

Great app for managing my music. There is a contact for support also. A possible bug fix is a exclude folder still gets picked up even after rescan, so picks up recorded meetings, etc. A 'like' would be to exclude albums when playing 'all' songs.

Good app. Can't figure out how to rearrange Playlist not in play que. Maybe not possible but it should be. It is great to be able to slow tempo of song and or change pitch. I purchased premium to use equalizer.

Hi. I have the Pular Music Player on my S10. It's labelled Pulsar+, which I assume means I boudght the Pro version. Once upon a time i could stop Pulsar from running in the background by re-starting my phone. Now, that does not turn off the app. Is there a way I can stop Pulasar fom running in my phone's background?

The app is good, but when downloading an album it breaks the album into multiple albums and I do not like that at all. Emailed customer service and have had no response.

I wish you'd move down the whole "now playing" ui by just a bit so that the album art isn't overlapping the status bar and buttons at the top (battery, signal, back, favourite, share, etc.) Also, the some songs from same the same artist are being separated under different "artist tabs". Why? Also, where is the 1x4 widget?

This app is great. That is, as long as you use it on an android phone. My go to is my Chromebook. However the needed cast function does not work on Chromebook - just buffers. I contacted the developer, with no result. Please fix it.

I love this app, but it has a problem with meta data on the music. If the album is of various artists, it makes them all the same or various,etc. It also glitches when downloading the album art.

Does everything I want and does it beautifully. I bought the Pro version just to support development, though, I must say, the equalizer adds so much to the experience. Absolutely worth it!
