• Single/Train/Chirp.
• Square/Sine waveforms.
• Tukey/Hanning Envelopes.
• Pulse frequency 20 Hz to 22.05 kHz.

• MAP – Visualise the echo. Colour or Black and White. Pixel value from RMS or absolute value. New line for each echo trace. Move device whilst pulse-echoing to generate a map.
• Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) of 8192 data points to determine frequency content between echo detect lines.

For Indication Only. Use Ear Protection if required. Due to the limits of the typical microphone dB range on most devices, distant echo signal are likely to be too weak to detect clearly unless extra amplification or a strong echo is present.
For fun/educational/research use. This is not ultrasound and NOT suitable for any medical imaging. This app can create annoying loud sounds, so use ear protection if required.

Didn't meet my expectations; it doesn't measure distance despite indicating that it can measure distance and time. App not worth keeping.
Doesn't work. User interface is complex and laggy. After several seconds you change any settings the app freeze and you have to reboot the app.
Doesn't seem user friendly, ive set speed of sound, single external pulse, clear... Sample is recorded, but no echo speed calculated betwe the blue and green curser..
Once i figured out how to get the cursors and scale set, the ranging was very accurate. Very fascinating and fun app. Thank you and great job!
Still learning it. Seems to be great app comprising of almost all parameters to deal with sound.
This app is fantastic I am electronic tehnician first time vhen i open i thinkis is a bad joke but when careful change parameter seting likhe lenght fregwence puls i observe realy work .I tested in empty space and careful movment to an obstacle the osciloscope signal show diferent . Must make a probe with batt freqwency is ultrasound pulse i am very hapy fur play fun with this app.Many thanks Google comerce . George Ro

I can't really seem to measure anything with it, but it makes awesome Predator sounds, and that's all I ever needed anyway.
Tried with a blue yeti mic and an AIWA Bluetooth speaker, you get accurate data although consistency is an issue. Willing to mess around with different setups, nice little app. ★To the dev, the frame of a meter is a nod, I get it, it's fun but could you offer an option for full screen and possibly different landscape modes (fullsceen, splitscreen, minimalist layout)?
Cool! It works (If you have a strong loupe). But that interface! Why all the screen wasting garbage. What's left is so small, is not readable. You think everybody is 20 years old and walks around with a 10" tablet in his pocket? Please make that optional or better, remove it all the way. Less garbage code, less to download, the better we can see what's going on! David Jones, go kill yourself. Because you are too stupid to understand this, doesn't mean it deserves 1 star.
hardly to use, confused buttons all time graphic from average sound not related with own pulses or direction like other echo based app
Seems to perform as described. Have tested on internal and external triggers and alternative mics. With mixed results. External sensing and trigger pulse seem to be more accurately mapped.
Why all the wasted screen space on a meter "chassis"? My tablet has a chassis of its own that I lament the size of; you need not make it artificially larger by making the usable screen area smaller. The buttons and scopes could all be larger and more usable if thousands of pixels weren't being spent on a useless yellow frame.
It's great if you know how to use it. I don't but I think it's fun to need around with it. Sonar is cool

A lot of screen space wasted for no good reason and it is too inaccurate and too hard to set up to be useful for any practical purpose.

Completely and utterly useless. Didn't give any usable measurements on my Samsung Note 3. Everything read as: 0.0m / 0.0s ...
App is great for measuring a sound absorbtion of various DIY acoustic materials and for measuring improvements in reverb/echo of a room. Hovever, user interface is almost impossible to understand and there is not einough documentation or help by the author. App uses nonstandard abberviations, whose meaning is not possible to find by google (eg. Div%, RMS ... ) Meaning of various app modes, functions and graphs is very poorly documented. It is not possible to reset the settings to defaults.
