Takes Practice Difficult to get camera straight AND tap the screen, so I taped phone to a wall at proper height. Frees up the hand to tap, and of course the wall is straight. Am getting consistent readings, so assume it is accurate. It is a clever app for those who want to get glasses online.

You need at least three hands (or hands the size of a garden rake) to follow the instructions. Holding the phone straight while positioning the card makes it impossible to reach the shutter icon without tipping the phone. There should be an option to position the shutter icon where you can reach it. It would be easier to take the picture lying down but app only accepts upright phone. It should be easy to use the spirit level for flat down phone but that wasn't included. Results inaccurate.

Love this app! I needed my PD for a this website that I wanted to order glasses from. I had been searching for a while what my PD actually was. I message my eye doc, try doing it myself, then stumbled upon this app. It was quick and easy. Also gave me an idea of what shape of glasses would look best on me. I definitely recommend this one. 😊

Not at all accurate. consistently measures about 6-7mm wider than it should (checked using a ruler held at eye level and taking a photo while looking into the distance). Also app measures a standard credit card as 96mm when it is in fact 85.6mm (tested by using app to measure card when prompted to select center of pupils). These inaccuracies could be explained by the app using the wrong size of a standard credit card, but there is nowhere to check the value the app uses.

Doesn't work. For whatever reason it thinks an accurate IPD can only be taken if the phone it straight and it's almost impossible to tap the screen with the phone standing straight up. On top of that it does not take a measurement or picture even if you manage to tap the screen with the phone straight with one hand. Unusable.

Needed to find my pupil distance to tune in my new VR headset (Hp reverb). Prior to knowing the correct distance, I was having trouble with using it for long distance flights without getting a headache after 10 minutes. Now its flawless and feels like I could fly for hours!

hands down the best iod app. the optometrist got kine wrong and measured a 55 but for playing in vr i noticed it was more comfortable with an ipd of 68. ended up getting this app, which also measured 68, and went back to the optometrist and had it corrected. way worth the money.

A lot of hoops for it to freeze after setting my boundaries with the image I took, so it never actually show3d me. Happened 3x including after a reboot of phone. Uninstalled and refunded.

Pretty consistent results when trying in two different lighting environments, once side light and once against the window with daylight. Will set in my VR and test it for a while.

Good app, had to get my Occulus 2 VR lenses focus right, so it would stop being so blurry, So I tried this app, and wow what a big difference. My number was 66.5, So my Occulus lense was to close together. Now perfect, no more blurry vision.

Ok not gonna lie, I bought this thinking it was not going to work and I would have to get a refund, but to my surprise once i figured it out properly it worked! Now I've got my measurement and can use my VR headset without strain on my eyes! Excellent app thank you!

Seems to be accurate can't really say for sure. I did 7 measurements and they all were in the 62-62.5mm range. If these measurements are accurate it's well within acceptable error for a typical perscription.

I couldn't get it to actually take the photo. My fave was aligned, phone was level, Green "tap screen to take photo" was showing at the top. After several minutes of trying, I gave up. Got a refund.

Dosnt work, not accurate. It seems cool I tested my PD 15 times with this. Took the average and got a 67. I went a local eyewear store. They measured a 62. Way, way off. They tested me 4 time with two separate pieces of equipment to ensure accuracy. This app isn't accurate. It could have cost me hundreds of $$. Now how do I get my 5 bucks back???

I already issued a refund, this app is complete garbage, and does NOT give you the accurate information you're looking for. I have a PD of 70, but it was reading me as 64, which is unacceptably way off if you're using this to adjust your VR sight settings, if you want a better solution then either look into measuring your own PD for free with a ruler yourself, or go to a optometrist near you that will professionally assure accurate data for free, or for a small fee depending on their policies.

it's a little tricky to set up for a good photo, but once you figure out how to get everything lined up right and then also still be able to touch the screen to take the photo, it works great!

Rus. S. Oct 7, 2019

Too fiddly to use. Utter garbage. I align my face, then it says,, 'tap screen to shoot'. I tap the screen and nothing happens. Search for a better app. This one is rubbish.

Jon. S. Jul 6, 2019

Completely useless because you have to have your glasses off to use it. I can't see with my glasses off, which is why I wear glasses. Next time maybe design the app with the idea that the users may not actually be able to see it.

Yielded similar results to when I used cm measurer with mirror. But it was much easier to measure. I found the instructions easy to follow.

it was wrong way wrong as i have what is called dual p.d. it doesn't te you that. it was also wrong in the distance because it said that mine was 63.5 when it's actually 67. Second doctor took it for me and yes refund is in order. i looked past the lense at bottle. Still didn't get it right.

Quite cool actually, uses an object to calibrate against and allows multiple measurements to average out. Simple and effective.

That was so interesting & I am very thankful for this app! It really was helpful & worth the money :) I'm really bad about eye stuff & face shape so I'm going to their other app now lol. I have no clue what my face shape is, besides fat ;)

Compared to apps like this on iPhone, bit of a joke holding up a credit card to your face, tapping the phone anywhere didn't actually take a photo either so the app didn't work. Sorry dev, there must be a better way to do this.

Jef. P. May 10, 2021

Do Not I repeat take a picture of your debit or credit card while taking a picture this app asks for it. I was very dumb in trusting this app. My debit card got compromised right the next day this people are scammers.

Cry. T. Aug 28, 2020

Inaccurate. I had went to the eye doctor to get new glasses and wanted to see if this was accurate. It was not. It was off by several mm.

Mik. S. Aug 16, 2020

Tried it 4 times now. Even went to an optician. The app kept telling me 72 ipd. The optician told me 68. And guess what. 68 looks right on the rift s and on the quest whole 72 is blurry. Wish I was still eligible for a refund. Oh well.

Sav. 1. Aug 27, 2020

Tried using it few times but it was telling me completely different pd, luckily I went to the opticians and the difference was huge between what the app was telling me and what the opticians told me.

Jen. B. Nov 7, 2020

It kept popping up messages instead of letting me take the picture. I kept trying until I got a migrane from having my glasses off for such a long time.
