I loved using PureChat. I would highly recommend switching to the pro version as texts were the only consistent way that I would not miss chats. The notifications are excellent as well and the UI is easy to use and intuitive. Customer support is responsive and helpful and the whole system is not too expensive for the functionality that you get.
This app is horrible, it fails to stay logged in so I just don't get messages anymore. I get an error that flashes by so quick you can't read it then I have to log out and log back in to get anything to work. This happens so much that it is basically worthless because I don't know when it stops working so I just don't get notifications until I manually open the app and see it won't login and go through the above process. It has been doing this for 4 months, ever since we started using it.
Absolute trash service. I am a paying customer and have been trying to get technical support for nearly 2 weeks. The last response a week ago was that they are "very busy" and will get back to me. In the mean time 2 weeks with services are down and impacting business. There is no support numbers provided, requested information to send legal correspondence just to be completely ignored. Beware! They will bill for services every month but when their systems break, no support or resolution.
So, the interface on this chat app is great and everything... Only, it doesn't generally do a good job of connecting in real time. Very often I'll see the chat default to a contact box, even when I'm staring at the app open on my phone. That's just unreliable.
Notifications dont work. Missing every chat. Tried all fixes - app is the problem. Not android power saving etc. Had two techs look at phone - app is not sending notifications unless app is physically visible on phones screen. Also tried second android phone - exactly the same - no notifications (just email saying you missed the chat)
Found the app totally useless as it has failed to work every time when I tried it from my web site. Why a one needs to fill in a form in order to start chatting? Why can't it just be like any other messenger when you "type and send"?... Wouldn't recommend. The reason I'm Writing this review is that I again got a notification that someone has tried to reach me out through the app and couldn't. I couldn't log in as well due to a constant "oh no, something has gone wrong on our end"...
Constantly crashes. Extremely unreliable particularly mid conversation. I have to install and uninstall to get it to work for a very short period of time and then... uninstall and reinstall. Same issues on my Samsung and now my Google Pixel XL.
The same issue as lots of other reviewers. Sometimes this app works fine but most of the time you don't get any notification what so ever and they respond with the same "canned" response. No I am NOT using any power saving features. You will miss lots (most) of chats using this!
stopped working. white page with error on two different servers when connecting with shopify and didn't show up on websites. but now it's working again. love this app. i hope it will continue working. thanks
Like most other reviewers, the notifications do not come through in a timely manner. Not useful enough compared to a web browser. If I got instant notifications this would be perfect.
I missed all the notifications, when the app isn't running and device hace internet access. Even I got the notification for the chat after half of of an hour. Something wrong with the connection and notification.
Promising app, fails to deliver. Support fail to follow up. Installed Mar '20 - 50% of website chats since resulted in missed chats, often coming through up to 30 mins after customer leaves webpage. All s9 android 10 settings setup to keep app awake and not let app sleep so as to receive push notifications, to no avail. To unreliable to use any longer. Pity though as easy to setup and install.
After login for some time (without using it for a while) when I open the app back it won't allow me to connect to my account and I was force to logout and login again. (I try to click connect but it won't go through and keep on giving me the same page)
Great when monitored on PC. Absolute garbage on mobile. I don't get the notifications until they have already timed out. If you miss three it puts you as unavailable.
Many glitches when trying to connect, forcing you to log out and back in to connect. Multiple missed chats without notification. Great concept, app needs an update.
Love the user interface! Easy to navigate and chat with customers. Plus, it's free! Can't get better than that. I will der upgrade once my website traffic increases a bit more.
Mobile app is the worst I have ever used. We miss 90% of our incoming live chats from our website. Best part is on their website "live chat" never has anyone live. I am on the paid version too. Not worth it. Online dashboard works good. Currently looking at new live chats.
It has been 1 hour since it is verifying the website and it is still verifying. I can't sign up in the Android app. It keep asking to fill out all fields, though each field is filled.
This app drives my sales. It gets the conversation started with the customer. Customers still like to have interaction with the people they buy from at least on bigger ticket items. I think a lot of my customers call me or email me or chat with me to make sure that I really am there and not some website that was created and then forgotten by someone. We've all seen that kind of website. I believe that there is a larger piece of the market for you if you are willing to interact with your customer
It's an awesome app with great features for free. Just a little disappointed with no auto response system setup or AI enabled.
Mostly works. It's useful to be able to answer messages from website visitors when you're in the pub but it's not quite as good as the real, desktop/laptop-based version.
This is the app I was waiting for! I looked for an app to help me have a chat on my website and not have to sit at the computer all day, then I found Pure Chat. Very well built, easy to use and a great feature to my website.
Not great. I downloaded app to make sure that anyone contacts me over the website I get it immediately on my phone and I never get notified and I miss them. Not happy at all.
Notifications by SMS and Android app seldom work - so what's the point? "Technical support" seems to be run by a feckless teenager.

Alhamdulilah, Very Good App, I love the user interface, & also its good feature & can't get better then that. Ican also use too many live chat app for my website but free & great app is pure chat, then use it before declined, thanks pure chat
its a really good app, but the only things is lacking is push notifications like when someone trying to conenct wirh you, it should ring or some kind of sound to notify the person
Doesn't work. Tested the function while a friend was on a call a with me. He started a chat while I was in the desktop app. No notifications via the desktop app and the mobile app. Tried to get help...Chat button for help doesn't work either. Sent email to support...no reponse. Clicked the feedback option in the mobile app...says its not supported.. very disappointed with Pure Chat
