'Start listening now' can only play local files from phone memory and does nothing else, rendering the app pretty much useless. Kindly note that, since the closure of the Pure Connect desktop site and switching to the app, important settings such as organising Stations Favourites have been hard to manage, if at all possible. Favourite station lists are useless, not being in alphabetical order. Also, there is absolutely no way of deleting Favourite Labels! Kindly see to these issues. Thank you.
I recently bought a Pure Sensia Connect which, although not a current model, is a brilliant piece of kit. However, its minimalist design allows only 10 Internet station presets. This was ok as the radio worked with the Pure Connect website, where you could store an infinite number of stations in folders. About a year ago the company that bought Pure closed the site and gave the radio its extra connectivity through this app. which hasn't been working since August, rendering my device obsolete.
useless, the app does not detect our evoke flow, I'm guessing it is one of the 'incompatible' devices so rendering it useless. we live remotely and rely on internet radio which now does not work. the app is pretty useless for legacy devices. I will be looking at alternatives and will never buy from pure again and would not recommend their products as they can render them useless at the flick of a switch.
Shame there is no zero option. This was a flaky app to start with and now appears to have been completely discarded as there does not appear to be any way of accessing the Internet via either the app or the Jongo device. I thought pure advertised themselves as quality. Hmm, now just a Bluetooth input to the amp and a pretty poor looking one at that. Garbage.
There is some compatibility problem , don't know if it's down to later versions of android but it is saying my phone has no WiFi connection when it definitely does! Tried uninstalling and reinstalling no good. Contacted pure and they seemed unaware / unconcerned about this problem , looking on here seems I'm not the only one.
Terrible. The app was never great but it used to allow a feature to have 2 speakers working in stereo OR both plying the same music in mono in different rooms. Now the app cannot even detect WiFi so neither of these features works any more. So I totally wasted my money on not 1 but 2 Pure Jongo speakers!! Never again.
Customers forgotten! Sorry guys but from my own experience and reading other reviews (which it seems you don't) I have to say the app has not been maintained and most times will not even startup. I reinstalled hoping for great things but to no avail, took a step backwards and the app doesn't even see the wifi my phone is connected to. Rule one of business - keep your current customers happy before trying to sucker new ones. S3 speaker is great but no support to customers..... well disgraceful.
Always used this app with no issues at all so was disappointed and lost when the app went down Aug/Sept this year. It rendered my speakers virtually useless but as of last week the app is back up and fully functioning.Great communication from the support team. Seven jongos working perfectly again over four floors. Bliss.
As many have said the lack of development & service from Pure has rendered my 2 Jongo T6's almost useless. Can only connect via Bluetooth for radio & Spotify, which means interruptions from emails, texts, calls etc. Contacted support who said they were aware, but no update to the App. A new app is desperately needed
Setting up the T4 is very specific. You need to press the wifi button on the back of the speaker, then connect your phone to that speakers wifi. Once attached, log onto IP address 198.162.1.1 and you should access the speaker settings. Here you can select your home wifi network. The functionality of the app is very poor - no support for Spotify??? Come on! I would never buy pure products again. Should of gone for a better supported brand...
After using this app for a few years it now no longer allows me to sign in. the developer really needs to fix this. Update after contacting the developer support agent, i was given a new password which allows me to use the app again, very responsive and friendly. i have only given them 4 stars as this could be sorted via the login dtage of the apo rather than contact support. but it wirks and thats all that matters 👍
No network connection! App not working at all for several days now. I have several multi-room network speakers that are now just Bluetooth speakers! When i the app does work it's pretty poor. Think it needs scrapping and a new app building with better music streaming platform support, i.e. Spotify.
App used to work for my Evoke radio but not anymore, "No Internet Connection". Looking at some of the other reviews and it's a similar problem, the app doesn't work well. Unless it gets fixed soon I'll have to buy a different radio from an alternative brand. Hopefully one that has much better rated apps than Pure. If this was a company I was involved with I'd be embarrassed with such a lowly rated app.
Could not set up my Jongo because the app said that I was not connected to a wifi connection, even though I was, which would not allow me to adjust the audio settings for my Pure Jongo speaker. And, the "help" video on their own app was "not available" for viewing. Worthless app.
The app used to work fine. I have to set my system back up and the app just says connect to wifi even though I'm on wifi (leaving this review on the network). System used to be great but now it seems to have gone the way of the dodo.
Radio has stopped working with the app. Can only use as a Bluetooth speaker or with local music, very dissatisfied Should have bought Sonos. Update radio now working, revised score thanks. For music on local network works good with serviio.
Used to work semi OK but no Five Live Sports Extra. Now it just says "No Network Connection" all of the time. Clearly is as I just downloaded the app over it!!!! Makes the Jongo speaker useless. Very unhappy. Updated 03.10.19 App has been fixed and all seems OK. Thank you Pure!
I've changed my rating to one star. Any multi room system is only as good as the app that controls it. I've just had new home WiFi installed (that works fine for everything else) and now this app is insisting I'm not connected. Simply rubbish.
Terrible, worked when I first got it. Now it is totally useless. It seems that even the email address that is listed is incorrect. App doesn't even recognise that my phone is connected to WiFi.
Awful app. Not at all intuitive. Supposed to allow control of stations on my Evoke flow but not easy to work. Not a patch on previous system. Good example of how NOT to design an app.
Very unhappy... Setting up the Jongo T2 doesn't work. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the up again and now the app claims that my phone doesn't have network!! I tried uninstall and reinstall again the app and I have the same result. So I am stuck
No end to the problems. Keeps losing connection, and recently there's a fault which has rendered all my speakers useless. Lots of money spent on hardware with very poor software and support from Pure.
i've had my Evoke Flow for several years now. I recently tried to access again internet radio through Pure Connect and received "station not available". I then discovered and downloaded the new app and was promptly told the the Evoke Flow was not recognised. The explanatory video was not available. I assume that Pure are saying bad luck to their old customers?
When it works it is good but it freezes alot or nothing appears on screen. This app is DOA. Can't search for stations, genre, or country anymore. It might as well not exist.
app states no WiFi networks available when i am clearly on my WiFi network. uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted etc and still the same. nothing worse than buying a product and only being able to use it to part of its capacity.
Impossible. Not only does my sensia 200d not function properly anylonger (loosing connection) but I can't even get my password since I always get the message that my captcha is wrong. If pure cannot even manage the simplest things, I better start looking for other listening options and apps.
Will NOT let me log in. Keeps saying incorrect email or password 🤬 I can play music that is stored on my phone but not from a radio station and it doesn't connect to WiFi. VERY frustrating!
This app was working avesome till last android updates. On android 10 it is useless, it (application) doesn' t see the wifi connection (on galaxy S9+). My jongo s3 speakers now can be used with bluetooth only. Are you going to release a new update and when? I will change my rating only after fixing the app.
Absolute garbage. Firstly, the app fails to pick up on my wifi connection telling me that I am not connected. But at the same time, picks up the media server on the PC and will play music from it on the phone. But cannot stream to where I want to because I cant set it up because of the first issue. Last updated in 2017, my thoughts is this app has been abandoned.
