I'm having a problem with the app not loading any videos and it keeps telling me to "retry". Please help to resolve this issue. I really love watching your movies! However, this is very disappointing since I have a year subscription and I am unable watch any movies. Yes, I checked for update, reset my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and logged off and signed in again, nothing has corrected the loading issue!
So buggy, can't rewatch series without rewinding EVERY EPISODE, not practical for my toddler. UPDATE: Support said to just watch to the credits. Now each show I try to rewatch starts with 2 seconds left and moves on to the next one. Support was unable to help and it's not worth the hassle. There isn't a ton of content so not being able to rewatch without a rewinding EVERY episode is a deal breaker. Save your money.
I'm not sure what the problem is. When I watch something through the app and come back later it's stuck on the loading PF screen. I have to keep force closing the app. Also it would be awesome if there were a 10 second rewind. I hope you can help with this. Thank you!
App doesn't work. If you are looking to sign up for pureflix for use on your phone, forget it. I finally tried to watch my show on Firefox, it closed out and won't let me scroll to where I was previously in the movie. I try the app again, and it is so SLOW, and won't load even start the movie either. I'm so frustrated. We are trying to watch our spending, I really wanted to support a Christian based site, but don't think we will renew when our year is up, I don't know. :(
Accidentally let trial continue into yearly membership, which I didn't intend to do. Called customer service and they promptly cancelled and refunded me in full. It was such a pleasant experience that it made me strongly consider signing up for a membership in the future. Great customer service!
Update: The sync problem doesn't seems as bad, but this app has a long way to go to be satisfactory. The notification on the lock screen to pause playback doesn't work. The app doesn't know the last episode you... Original post: Audio and video are out of sync when casting to Chromecast and makes it too difficult to watch. Working with technical support, but no resolution after a month plus of working on it. They have refunded a months worth of subscription. We'll see what happens next month.
Just joined Pureflix with trial and already having problems! When trying to open up Pureflix on my TV (didn't want to watch on app) through my Firestick and sign in with my email, because you do not have an option for upper case letters I cannot sign in to view movies. Please switch to a keyboard format instead of having to go left and right to hit letters, numbers and characters. Will return once you improve these features. Bad start!
Love this streaming service and the app runs smooth for myself and family. I have it loaded into my grandson's Samsung Kids, and he never has any problems on his own, navigated the app & finding/watching his favorite Veggie Tales episodes. My family loves the movie content, especially the originals, and also all the other diverse content, so there is something for everyone. I just have it renew automatically every year and have had no problems whatsoever. Thank you Pure Flix.
I use to love watching movies from this app. I haven't had it in a while and decided to get it again. This time it wasn't like it was before. I was only able to watch 2 movies and that was after retrying to get it in several times. It was a waste of time. The movies are great when your actually able to watch them.
I have no problem streaming to my TV other than it will constantly glitch and cause the screen play to be off from the sound. Makes it harder to watch when screen and sound don't match. Other than that I like what I'm watching
Edit: I removed my complaint because Developer response was so quick and helpful. I didn't give technical support a chance to assist me before posting. I apologize and reposted my initial rating. Thank You. The movies and shows play without any problems. No issues with buffering. The app itself is slow to load and crashes while browsing. I've only watched from my phone so it might be better on an actual tv. I assume that it's still growing. I think it's very good now on its way to great!
While we enjoy a lot of the content and are thankful for the family/faith friendly entertainment, the app needs a lot of improvement. We use it mostly with Firestick on the TV. It frequently logs us off without notice, delays program playing and locks up. It moves slow from one page to the next as well. It has always done this and we have been using for at least 4 years. PLEASE improve the app performance and add more young children's content.
They make it very hard to cancel the subscription. You have to go through many stages to find where you can cancel. Had hoped there were more sitcom type shows. With busy schedules we can't always watch full movies. I would've given a higher rating, but was very annoyed that you make it so difficult to cancel.
Having trouble with the App immediately, doesn't make sense, I can enter thru my welcome back email but not thru the actual App. I see others below are having trouble with the App. Instead of referring us to follow basic instructions, perhaps you should follow up with your App Team and I will pray that something gets done.
Movies are but app itself is no good it takes almost 3 hours to watch a 1.5 hr movie because of all the buffering it does when we don't have an issue with other streaming channels.
Cons: Long load time at start up. When you leave the app to look at something else it either logs you off or the entire thing goes white or it won't open at all. Pros: Plenty of faith based movies and tv shows, but some are downright odd with poor writing and acting- so the content is so-so. The real seller for this app is all the VeggieTales content. If nothing else, get it for VeggieTales.
I love it I feel that the movies they have to watch is not only appropriate and a good influence but also it's Christian based but also has a moral inappropriate standards for families and I believe it also teaches kids and influence kids to do the right thing and make good and better choices and also helps give a child a good foundation that may help them exceed in life
Really excellent app. There is a ton of content & it's EXCELLENT! Especially for Christians or those that just like more family-friendly type content (but not exactly little house on the Prairie benign). There are plenty of high production, PG-13 movies on there that anyone would like.
I enjoy this app immensely although I usually watch from my phone or tablet. I have not had any issues and enjoy all the content. There are so many movies and shows to choose from, there are many I've yet to view. Thank you PureFlix for the experience! I give it 4 stars only because nothing is ever perfect.♥️
Horrible experience. I can't get it to play my selection!!! So frustrating. I am crying bc I really wanted to see my TV show. I'm old and suffering with back pain and there's so little out there to watch that is wholesome.
App is not uploading movies. Keeps saying "Something is wrong" & "Retry" but it is still not working. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still nada. 😒
Seems to stall when trying to load application, sits forever on loading screen then won't load. Needs to have a continue watching option I think the navigation could be better as well. I enjoy the contents when it does finally load but the overall application needs some serious fine tuning and pruning.
Can not cancel subscription. Do not get unless you plan to continue on forever with the subscription as they make it extremely difficult to cancel. Google support can't even help as they can't find the subscription in their database. Good shows but not worth paying for.
Not sure how to edit my previous review. The issues I was having before have been fixed, so I'm able to watch without issues that are related to the app (yay data throttling). The app would get 5 stars if there were more features like on Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon. There's no watchlist and no download option for offline viewing, and it prevents streaming if it have accountability software like Covenant Eyes on an older OS like Android 10, can't watch in my other device. Otherwise it's great!
