PureVPN - Best Free VPN

The app doesn't work in my region, which wasn't what they said when purchased. Now on any mails to the customer service is replied that my region doesn't support VPN, so they are unable to resolve. Isn't VPN to over come such regions, where there are restrictions? Anyway don't spend money on this app. Even after sending several mails they are unable to resolve the issues. Now they have stopped responding to mails or respond back with canned messages. My advise, if you have other options, go for other ones.

DO NOT UPADTE TO THE NEWEST VERSION!!!!. I cannot connect to the vpn anymore even when i know that my credentials are correct and i've been using it exactly befor the last update. I had the same problem on my laptop and after installing the old version my problem was solved. This is ridiculous if i could give it a zero i would.

I DON'T RECOMMEND IT So frustrated and disappointed with this app. It's being a terrible experience with subscription, access and support. I just got the anniversary deal, what was deducted from my credit card and I cannot access my PureVPN account. The message is "invalid login credentials". I talk to the support live chat and they did not give me any information about what is happening with my subscription or with my account... they did not solve my problem and they did not refund me as well.

They updated the app with something like Easy Login. But I think they must have meant that ironicly, because I haven't been able to log in since. Alfred from user support wasn't helpful either, he has said 10 words in the 1 hour chat support session. They don't care that you cannot login apparenlty. And if you want help, than support helpdesk isn't what you need. They only propose things that do not work. And apparently they tell in the response they contacted me, which is not true.

After 1 year they finally fixed the problem and I am happy to post that they credited me /extended my 1 year interruption as well. They did right by me and thus I update my review. You can find my initial concern below. This app does not allow u to stream with Hulu or Amazon, so practically useless. Still no able to use after 1 year and they haven't credited me or offered an extension of service for all the time I have not been able to use it. Please don't subscribe for 90% off or even for free.

You get what you pay for, very low cost and wide availability of apps but the service is unreliable. Often I can't connect or the connection is too slow to hold an streaming service. And I use the service very occasionally. The feedback option in the Android app frequently give an error because, guess why connection issues. I do not recommend the service, even for occasional usage.

Please don't buy PureVpn, its just a waste of money. The speed is super slow and now from last 3 days it is not even working on either android or firestick. The streaming apps are able to detect the proxy and I am not able to stream anything and this is the main reason for which I bought the subscription. It has been 3 days since I have raised a ticket but nobody has responded to it yet. I have made a huge mistake by purchasing this. PLEASE DO NOT BUY SUBSCRIBTION OF THIS VPN

This app is terrible it barely even works on android tv, only on phone. This app will say invalid credentials even thought i had a subscription. Support after sale close the ticket before sorting out the issue. PureVPN you need to do something with this issue. Im having this problem with three different android boxes.

New update with login bug, unable to use, keep prompting (Error Code: 4011). Posted comments was swiftly replied by PureVPN to uninstall and reinstall, after installed login error problem was resolved. Great after sales and technical support, 1 additional star up... Keep up the great work.

I've been with them for years. They are trustworthy and give you great deals. Constantly updating their service and features to keep up with the latest changes in security and internet services. Audited by 2 different leading firms to ensure no log. Audited once a year by one of those firms

No complaints. I can see some poor review but I can't say the same for me. I joined Pure VPN four years ago and I have always been able to connect. I am currently abroad and there is no 5G and only mediocre 4G and yet, I have had no trouble connecting. I needed to use Pure VPN abroad because certain UK items were not available from outsid UK. I have watched films through NETFLIX, Amazon and on YouTube but there has been no difficulty. From my experience so far, I can recommend Pure VPN.

After some technical issues, support was quick to help, and now the app works perfectly. A+++ service.

App is laggy and not reflected the real situation. Touch to disconnect, pop up status bar message that I'm disconnected but the app shows no change. Try to switch to other server, no response. Is just laggy and not sure that what you see is what you get: must double check on status bar. Not an app to recommend. Servers with speed till 10MB/s pretty much ok.

Have been with purevpn for many years, always had alot of trouble getting app to work, and when it did very slow connection. Also (for years) had problems with them on windows, many times their program wouldnt work, loose info, wont connect, etc. Had to uninstall and reinstall almost monthly, the clincher was when program stopped working for win7 and I got copy/paste replies from purevpn ignoring the issue/s. Ive since moved to another vpn and having no issues at all. I dont recomend purevpn.

Bought "lifetime" subscription 5 years ago, used it since without any issues, good speeds. Last week I try to login but see that my "lifetime" subscription expired and was listed as a 5 year subscription. Tried emailing, tried chat, a week later I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me.

Had fairly good experience when trialling for a month so joined for 5 years as that's what I required, speed instantly dropped by 50 percent. I'm currently watching 8 seconds on, 8 seconds buffering, of a non live football game. Only 5 more yrs of this 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Edit, turned game off as just wasn't worth it

Speeds still lower but they have sorted out iPlayer. To a degree it was my fault for not fully exploring the app, their fault for not having better instructions. Rating changed. The speeds are lower than desired and iPlayer etc don't work abroad on firestick.

I've used PureVPN for years in various PC operating systems. My favourite systems are Linux-based. Occasionally used in other devices. Split-Tunneling is great. Choose which apps you wish to connect through this VPN and forget that any content is unlawfully blocked. Store your favourite server connections for quickness. Leaving PureVPN connected will make sure you get notifications for your selected apps. Highly recommended.

I would like to connect & disconnect VPN from notification area with a single tap rather than opening the app each time. You can provide one single option for that as a toggle key. It can be so convenient. I will have to disconnect from app and connect back-in during: WhatsApp call, while using Google Home app, some of my banking apps doesn't work on VPN on too.

Easy to use interface. Mobile app and web extensions make it easy to use across devices. Was not very easy to find where to log in on the extension when you pay for it in app but I eventually found it. Price is pretty reasonable but there are cheaper options.

Was 5 stars before but dropping it to 2 stars now. Bought this to use Disney Hotstar but almost every time the Disney app doesn't open and says to switch off the VPN. Used to work before on Android phone and android stick but now has failed on both. Tried troubleshooting with their online support but always the same solution which doesnt work. If you want Disney Hotstar, I wouldn't recommend this app

Verily, it is difficult for a consumer to assign an accurate rating to any application when there are no alternately available programs similar enough in service and functionality to use as a point of comparison when recommending one product over another to a random unknown individual or organization. Alternatively when the available number of similar products become so abundant the maket is over saturated, any rudimentary rating system can easily loose the ability to generalize good from bad.

For the price, I think I paid 59$ for 2 years of subscription. PureVPN has done everything I could ask for in a VPN. NO LOGS, fast connection speeds, and a fantastic price.. what more can you ask for?

Brilliant service, great price. Not once it let me down. When i needed it it was always working reliably. The 5 year deal was great and i don't have to worry about renewal.
