Push Notification Tester

very good, free, no ads... but could use some info on failures. following an april 2020 security update from samsung - my s8 on pie will not receive firebase pushes whilst on cellular. in this app, i hit start, all 4 checks pass, request the push and on page 3 of the app i stop with a spinning circle on step 2 for 'notification arrived'. i maybe expected much but i expected a timeout with a reason for failure not just a circle that spins forever

The app is working very well in my phone. I am now receiving my twitter notification immediately and the app is responding even if the phone is offline. My notification are now coming direct to my toolbar (without registering my cell phone number with twitter). Please download a notification sms pop-up app to support this app. With both of them together, you will get the excellent results.

Truly invaluable app. My only small complaint is that there's no timeout when it doesn't get anything back from firebase, which leads to this mesmerising little circle spinning round on my screen for all eternity. Would recommend, good app.

Easy to use - but have a question. With wifi on I could register with the "push" database & push notifications were successful. However testing an issue with Push over mobile data only as I have a problem with this. What happened though was with wifi turned off the registration failed "X" before I could do the test. So I registered using Wifi then turned Wifi off and initiated the test - the app basically hung and did I did not get a result - expected failed or similar - is this what might be exp

Galaxy Note 10+ Set it for 60s and immediately turn the screen off, no problem. Set it for 6 minutes and immediately turn the screen off, there's a problem with getting the notification. I wait 10 minutes and as soon as I unlock the screen, the 6 minute notification goes off. What the heck is wrong with this brand new phone??

It's the best aplication. It has been a long time i never received notification from samsung push service where as i have updated it. But after i instal this aplication, i receive notification from everything in my phone. Thanks developer🖒 Good job🖒

Great app, does exactly what it says! I can now tell when doze kills my normal priority notifications. Wish the developer would come up with a fix for Google's delayed notifications since google apparently can't! Thanks!!

I'll rate it based on how it USED to work. It was a great app for testing purposes. Stopped working a long time ago. 5 stars because it was so great. Now it deserves 0 since the servers are down.

Good app, it works perfectly but now I have to find out why my phone won't specifically make notification sounds, it's clearly not the channels... maybe

This app is nice and very straightforward. It gets the job done so I have no complaints. There is also the feature to receive the notification after a particular amount of time which is also very nice.👍

Does what it's made for and more. I've used it to test my phone's notifications since I thought they weren't ringing in DnD mode. Now I'm sure that my phone doesn't have problems

No longer Works as of today, Red X at Register for Push notifications. Server out. I engaged the Developer for this brilliant app but Google started billing him... so much for open source. If Google won't fix their own notifications the they should not prohibit someone smarter than them to do the work for them. In fact Google should be paying the Dev.

I think you're the best developer ever! Your answers to the bad reviews are so good. I tried this app on a friend's phone and yeah, some ppl think it can fix your problems - it doesn't! Just read the name again and the description, stupid ppl.. just here to give you a good review, because it's working like it should!

Can you show the exact failed message on "Register to Push Notification" ? This would be usefully especially now the Huawei Phone does not have GMS, and need to install it manually.

Good app. May I know the possible cause why I failed for register push notification?. Note: Just sideloaded google services on my Mate 30 Pro. All google apps are working though.

Great! But if only an option to send one again is available instead of having to restart the app to do it again is available...

The app works to check if notifications have general issues arriving. Good to make sure in case of frequent problems.

App actually works, I know a work around when I'm not receiving notifications, but it isn't telling me how to resolve the issue like described 😑

On Mate 30 pro. Is stop on step 1. And show " register for push notification " with X mark. And canoot go anywhere. How to countinue ?
