This app basically keep alive the push connection on your phone. It avoids the tcp connection timeout that can occurs on some wifi routers or on some mobile carriers.

● How does PNF solve this problem?Every x minutes the app invokes an android activity that will send an heartbeat network packet on the push connection. Sending an heartbeat every 5 minutes should be enough to always keep the connection alive and all your push notifications will be instantly.
● How do I restore the default heartbeat interval value?Android heartbeats values are not modified by this app, just uninstall this app.
The battery should not be much impacted over a day.

So far so good! After updating to 9.0 on my Samsung Galaxy 8+ (snapdragon model), my notifications for several apps completely stopped even after turning off all battery saving options, suggested by people online with the same problem. Installed this app, and to my surprise everything seems to be working normally again!
This app works, just not this particular version. I'm running Pixel Experience on the Poco F1 and the only way to fix my delayed notifications was to download the long forgotten root version of this app. That actually ended up fixing things for me. So for anyone in a similiar situation, download that one from xda or wherever.
The app was working extremely well..but lately, there is a serious lag in when the notifications should be alerting me of time sensitive work orders. The app I use for work displays a new order but PNF takes anywhere from 1-10 minutes..sometimes failing completly. I depend on push notifications, so disappointed its not working properly anymore.
This app fixed my push notification issue, thankyou! Google really needs to step up their game and fix this at the OS level. Instead we have to install this dodgy sounding app which makes some undocumented calls to force a connection to google's servers to be kept alive.
Why isn't the app showing up in my list of applications? It's nice to have such quick response, thanks for your quick response. It's amazing that you replied right away. Found it, as the app is listed as PNF, not the full name of the app. Hopefully the app solves my problem of not receiving any notifications, after get a my cell phone LG G7 one. I will change my rating once I am able to test the app.
So far so good! Getting critical push notifications, such as security system and Ring App notifications instantly now! Lifesaver. Pathetic Samsung couldn't fix this and a 3rd party app saved the day!
Unbelievable but my brand new shiny android 10 didn't give me push notifications at all. I didn't believe something like this could fix it but luckily I tried. Now everything works perfectly.
Since android 11, this app no longer works. It was a perfect app that was easy to use and did exactly what it was meant to. Now all my notifications are delayed for WhatsApp, Signal, Gmail. Is this app no longer supported?
Well done. For 6 months I was struggling with whatsapp messages. I tried everything. Even I changed the telecom operator and nothing helped. After installing this application everything worked. Mobile phone is Samsung J5. Once again, WELL DONE !!!
Never had issues getting push messages until I switched to an MVNO. I guess you get what you pay for. Glad I found this app! Things working again like they should.
There are no notification coming from team, outlook, Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato and almost all the apps. This is not working.
I use an app that requires push to operate @100% but always had delays-serious delays. This fixed it right away!
So Exciting to know there is a solution to resolve my Huawei notifications issue, but eventually... It doesn't help at all... 3 stars for trying to instill hope in it
Didn't help with Samsung A50 using Reolink Argus camera. Interestingly, the "Push Notification Tester" app results in an instant notification received. Mind boggling...

This app did nothing to help with delayed notifications. I am NOT saying the app is bad, but on a OnePlus 7 Pro it made no difference. YMMV
Wow just wow this app fixed the push notification problem which i have been facing on all roms since so long. So glad that i found it today. Thanks a lot dev for such a brilliant app.

A simple app with better response. I found it more useful in some tasks who were delayed due to system problems.

it works great but can you add a notifaction that stays there so it keeps the app open so it doisnt close please would be great
don't waste ur time with this app cos it doesn't do anything. i don't see the point in it being in the play store, yet the greedy developer wants our money.
on next update, would you add more option to this app? so it would be able to check mobile/wifi heartbeat for every 500ms or less. thanks.

I really had high hopes for it but it didn't work on infinix note 5
Works great but I have reason to believe that my phone is killing the app in the background after a while. I know some apps will set up as a service and show a notification in order to keep awake, I think maybe this is what this app needs? All I know is it worked beautifully yesterday when I first installed it, now this morning on default settings and a good network I was taking up to 9 minutes to receive GMail notifications. After manually bringing up PNF it now works fine again.
