Puzzle Alarm Clock

Uh man, like for the first few months since I've started using this was straight up great. It would work perfectly and woke me up literally everytime I set an alarm in it. But recently... I've been facing such a stupid issue with this app. It's not even an alarm clock anymore!!! It has become like an ai clock or something. 1. When you set an alarm it doesn't work (missed a lot of really important events) 2. It rings randomly when it wants! What a joke. Don't install this app. It's bad now.

This app is a hit or miss. Some times it works as intended (which is great). But then some times the alarm won't go off or, even worse, it won't shut off! I had to restart my phone to get it to stop and even then it continues to go off! There is no in between; it's either nothing or way too much, lol. Not reliable

Originally loved this app and gave it five stars. Now it is increasingly frustrating to use. I don't mind ads at all so the developers can make some money, but the ads keep covering up the power up options so I can't add the wake up poke to my alarm anymore, which makes this app far less effective for me. Trying to close the ad just pulls up a survey in the same spot, so it still keeps you from using half the settings.

This app is amazing and I used it when I wasn't wake early and this app used to give some problems, games to play and much more. This app just has one simple and single problem, I mean when I solve math problems medium level it's pretty hard like the app uses * symbol to represent multiplication instead of × and afted just waking up it doesn't flash that oh * is multiplication and when I think what symbol it's it's already time up and the alarm doesn't stop so unnecessarily I have to delete.

I love this alarm. However, every so often it starts going off (at the set time,) with NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF. The screen with the puzzles and snooze and stuff doesn't come up and there isn't a little box in the notification tray. The only way to make it stop is to restart the phone which is super annoying when you've got a tray of notifications that came up overnight that you're not ready to dismiss. (and just being ridiculous in general.)

Like many other users seem to be saying, the app used to be a great tool for waking up in the mornings, thanks to features like puzzles, personalized sounds, and wake-up pokes. Ever since the overhaul update though, it has become increasingly unreliable. Wake up pokes no longer show up in notifications or produce noise, and the alarms can go off at a random notice. It's a shame that it's gotten to this state.

A must have for heavy sleepers. Been using the app for roughly a year now on different phones, and it has not failed me once. The puzzles themselves are good, but what's great is the option to scan a barcode/read a NFC tag to turn the alarm off. This together with the "power-up" to have continuous ringing and no snooze is sure to get most people up. Clean UI, has all the necessary features that I could personally want from an alarm, and not a single alarm missed for a year. Highly recommended!

The app does it's pourpose really well,but the problem I have with it is that when it rang for the first few times I suddenly got 200IQ and "cheated" the system,I just press the snooze button,open the app and turn off all of the alarms,I'm pretty lazy so and don't like getting up early so my first instinct is to turn off the alarms,if there could be like a "solve puzzle to open app" that would be very appreciated. Everything else works great so far!

Good alarm clock app with not too many limits on the free version but as always, improvements could be made. It seems like you don't get the puzzle to stop/snooze the alarm if you had not opened beforehand. Maze controls also need to be optimized; often it would not move the right way or get stuck and have the timer run out. Overall, a few noticeable annoyances but is worth installing.

Seems this has recently become an issue for others as well, I used to swear by this app, this alarm was the only thing that could wake me up, but it no longer works. I will set an alarm and it will never go off. I also can't turn off alarms before they are set to go off, even if I delete a set alarm on the app it could still go off at the set time. Please fix these issues! I have downloaded a different app in the meantime.

I used to really love this alarm, but since the new update, it's been impossible. The alarm has been going off randomly, and my set alarms are no longer reliably going off. I have to set my phone's default clock as a backup. It went off three times tonight during a Christmas party for no reason - and half the time it won't stop after you solve the puzzle. I'll probably delete this app soon if it doesn't get fixed.

This app used to be great but something has recently changed. It's March of 2020 the app isn't working right on my phone. For the record, I'm using a Google Pixel 3a. The alarm will go off but i won't be prompted to shut it off (this is abnormal). If shut the app down, the alarm goes quiet for 2 seconds and then comes back. I end up repeating this process over and over until finally I'm allowed to go into the app, complete my puzzles and properly turn off the alarm. What a mess!! Please fix!

I think the recent update messed up the way I'm told about my next alarm. It is showing the latest alarm, and ignoring changes to earlier ones. It's not even consistently the latest though, sometimes others will show up if I disable the latest, other times it skips them for another in the middle of two. they still go off fine, but this is annoying. Edit: Otherwise, this app serves its purpose well. Thank you for your quick response. The update solved my problem

A good concept for sure. Now if only I could actually count on the alarms to go off it would be great. Set alarms for 5:45, 6:00, and 6:15, all of which rolled right on by without a peep, even with my notification sounds turned all the way up. Thankfully my internal clock got me up at 6:30 so I wasn't late to work. App used to work and now it doesn't. Disappointed

Was working pretty great. At some point recently, the wake up poke started malfunctioning. I will be on my phone reading for the solid 10 minutes after passing the alarm, and all of a sudden it goes off again, no notification. One morning I passed all the challenges 5 times before entering the app and turning the alarm off and back on again. Will add 2 stars when this gets fixed.

It's a pretty and well designed app, with great puzzles and features to make sure you are awake. Yet it has some technical issues,, some bigger then other. Recently it has developed the bug to continue snoozing every 5 minutes even though I already stopped it. Again and again. Forcing me to force stop it, that happened for the third time now, rendering the app useless.

I have been using this alarm for quite a while, and for the most part it works great, setting the different puzzles and levels of difficulty is a great feature. Howevwe sometimes the alarm does not shut off properly, and will start ringing again after I dismiss it. This seems to be random and only sometimes, but is enough to loose a start

Great app, minor bug (maybe not a bug). When the alarm went off I unlocked.my phone and cleared the notification rather than clicking it, then when I went into the app, it didn't give me the option to do the puzzle that I could see. I ended up uninstalling to stop the alarm. However I don't know if it's a bug because I was half asleep.

I like this app - simple, doesn't take up much memory, yet very effective. It works well, easy to use. I like the puzzles that it has and you can also chose the difficulty level if easy or medium puzzles don't wake you up. I also like that you can chose your own tune for the alarm - important functionality for me. I'll keep using it and highly recommend to everyone who has trouble waking up early!

What happened guys? I've used this app for years and loved it, but recently it has become less and less reliable to the point that I might need to get rid of it. Here's the issues I've been having. 1. Even when set for the correct time and day of the week the alarm sometimes doesn't go off. It's unclear if clearing the cache is doing anything for this issue. 2. The wake up poke sound is gone, the phone only slightly vibrates. I've messed with the app's sound settings to try and get the sound back with no success. 3.The app sends a notification an hour before it's supposed to go off and has multiple issues. A. It makes a notification sound when it never has before. B. The notification sound goes off twice in a row, sometimes not even waiting for the first tone to stop. C. You cannot dismiss the notification. Turning off the alarm does not help. I have cleared the cache, but that only provides temporary relief, but does not fix any sound related issues. I used to love this app, as the memory challenge was the perfect thing to wake me up to turn off my alarm. Recently though, it's not always been going off at the scheduled time. I've opened the app, seen I set the alarm as I thought and then it goes off, far past the time it was supposed to. I tried turning off battery optimization as another review suggested, and it happened again this morning. I've been late to work multiple times now because of this. Seems it's time to find a new app.

This app WAS great... Until my alarms stopped going off. As of late, the alarms have been sounding either INCREDIBLY late, or not at all. Just this morning, my 6 AM alarm didn't go off until I opened the app (at 7:45), turned the alarm off, then turned it back on again. When this first started happening I could fix it by resetting my phone, which I'd do right before I went to sleep, but it didn't help at all last night. All in all, this would have been a super useful app if it actually worked.

I had to bump down the review unfortunately. The app works well except for one annoying thing. The alarm seems to repeat itself no matter what. You can go through the puzzles to dismiss the alarm. And start your routine for the day, just to have the alarm go off again and interrupt. I'll start usithe app again once. This changes.

I've only had this alarm for a week and I've already had issues. The app seems to glitch so that when an alarm starts, there's no way to turn it off. Had to restart my phone to get it to quit. I also have to open the app myself instead of having the alarm automatically be full screen. I looked in settings to change this but found nothing. Definitely not user friendly.

If it's not important, I sleep until 1. Not anymore. I bought the paid version because the free version puzzles were a little too easy, set it to the same time every morning, and my sleep has been regular for the first time in my life. I have every single option chosen to wake me up, and it's kind of fun, and it definitely gets me out of the "OMG! Go back to bed!" state. My only request is that they make more puzzles, or allow you to repeat puzzles in the same alarm. The poke is still necessary.

I set off the alarm with the puzzle and then it started again as I was driving. Arrived at destination, nothing was displayed to shut it off. Removed the alarm in the app, closed all apps, but it was still sounding XD had to reboot my cellphone. Also, it sounded the default "ringtone" instead of the sound I had selected. Appart from that, the puzzles are a good idea!

Tried it for the first time in two years, but the difficulty still isn't there. I miss the difficulty from before this app got its "material design" update; back when a "hard" math puzzle wasn't something straight out of a 3rd grade homework assignment. Personally, I'd like to see stuff like "358*64-1572" in the app again, but the developer already got my money back when the puzzles took more than a few seconds to solve. "83-3*11" isn't hard, unless haven't learned about multiplication.

I've had this app since I started highschool about 4 years ago. I always had issues with it but they were never serious until now. The app regularly doesn't recognize the alarms. So it will either go off like an hour late or it won't go off at all. There have been times I didnt have a single alarm on and I was still sitting there turning off 3 of them because they decided to go off even when I had them disabled. The app overall has become terrible over the years and it practically never works.

The app worked wonders for me for a while. Having a nice selection of choices to pick from and all working fairly well. The thing that keeps me from giving it a better rating, is that the alarm would begin to go off, even when all alarms are disabled. I don't use an alarm on the weekend, as I allow myself to sleep in. Then, it began going off randomly in the middle of the day, scaring me and everyone around me.
