PVR Live

Great app allowing multiple iptv playlists. Lots of options for choosing which channels you want to include and the category you would like it to show up in. Better than other apps I have used and happy to pay for the full version. My only issue is when commercials start it seems to cause the video to buffer. On some channels it will return to the tv program, on others it will just freeze. Is there a setting I should be using? Using Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019. Edit - I turned timeshift off and life is good again!

So far so good! I was looking for an app that integrated with my hdhomerun and live channels whilst allowing me to turn off timeshift to improve stability and take the strain off the storage on my shield. This app does all of that and provides plenty of settings to suit all types of setups. I also appreciate the option to get a month's subscription to try the premium services before committing to a one off payment. Thanks!

Why can I not sync more than two hours on the schedule? Did not have an issue with the live channels and schedule until I instead this app. Been waiting for a few days, I have to clear the data and cache and all but reset the app for it to download the guide. Only have about 40 channels. And even if I set it to sync three days, it will only sync up to 2330 of the current day. Definitely looking for a better app at this point.

Didn't work for me, spent an hour but kept saying not set up ! Update. Developer got in touch with me and within 24hrs a fix was in place and app updated on play store. Reason for the issue was my Sony TV was a new model etc etc... Fantastic service from the developer and fantastic app that I can now pause, rewind etc etc live IPTV streams all on my Sony TV.

Great features and all works well except when internet is not stable. I used TVIRL and it had less disconnect issues with IPTV playlist. My internet fluctuates and I find this app disconnects rather than flex the image quality like TVIRL. I bought PLUS version and all features work, it is just the connection stability that needs to improve for playlist IPTV. Edit: After disabling Timeshift it now works perfectly with my unstable internet

Update, 5/19/20: This app is constantly being improved. Developer is very responsive to any issue which may come up and works to correct the issue. I highly recommend this app. Previous review: Overall the app works well with TV Mosaic. I tried to setup NPVR but no joy, wouldn't load the channels, it went to TV Mosaic login details during the set up NPVR. I looked for a way to purchase the Plus version but found no way to do that as well. Other than those hiccups, the app runs smooth.

Great app! I use this with a tvheadend server feeding 4 android tv devices.. I was a bit disappointed to find buying the upgrade is only valid on the current device. I wanted to support your work, but not that much ;) EDIT: All devices are on the same account. After unplugging my android tv set the app updated to pro. My chromecast with google tv device is being a bit more stubborn. This is obviously on google's end and will probably fix itself someday. Thanks!

Doesn't record anything, zero purpose. I have 1.6GB free and I just get an error that I have "insufficient storage" when trying to record. Also theres no option to use an external hard drive. Emailed customer service (as recommended in every comment they make) & got nothing but an automated message that didn't even address the issue. Save your time & money, try another service.

Looks stunning on the Nvidia Shield. Responds well to voice commands, was blown back that you can pick the individual channels. Testing it right now as we speak on the Mi Box S for a client. Having a problem getting the plus version, I have paid but it says I don't have it?

Highly Reccomend. I was looking for an app to stream HDHomerun with the ability to customize how I want my Program Guide to look along with Channel Numbers, which I found to be very satifying. That and to record a few shows. Premium was worth every dollar. Works excellent with Google Live Channels. Very Reliable. Has great options to ensure best optimal playback. Developer is great to work with if issues arrise. I had questions and we got them resolved or put me in the right direction. I used this on a ChannelMaster Stream+ CM-7600 without issues.

Super app. I liked this very much. I'm using this with ATV x86 with NextPVR server. Can you please add the wake-on-lan feature to this because some times I sleep my server for power saving. Need to wake it remotely with a separate app. If this feature will available in this app it would be much versatile. I really need this feature.

Pretty slick app. 👍👍 Easy to setup & use. I'm using it on a Tivo 4k Stream & Nvidia Shield Pro 2017. Overall it's very good & seems to be stable. Only issue Im experiencing is that my epg doesn't seem to update on it's own. I have to clear the cache within the app & hit done. It'll update my playlist & the epg.

Very promising app. However, I unable to set a TVMosaic source. Clicking 'Next' after setting an IP and port of the server I'm getting an error 'Error while validating'. It is definitely isn't an error on the server because I connect to the TVMosaic server from my android phone with no hassle. Hope you would provide me with a solution. Thanks in advance.

I installed the app on a Sony Android TV, went through the setup and I paid the subscription but I couldn’t open the app because it crashes and the live TV icon doesn’t appear anywhere. I am still interested in the app if the technical support is willing to help.

Not sure if this a bug or not, I've a playlist with 1321 channels, that loads fine however when it loads the programs it takes nearly an hour and has 147380 entries, this in turn crashes the Sony TV guide when trying to open it. Other apps load the playlist and epg fine within seconds.

I initially thought this app was a stand alone app and did not realise it runs alongside the "live channels" app, after contacting the developer everything was made clear. Great app with really helpful and diligent support behind it, can't praise them highly enough for their help and understanding. kudos to them.

This is a great product. I use Tvheadend as a back-end and the pause/rewind/record ability for LiveChannels is brilliant. I had issues with my environment and the developer was incredibly helpful. I highly recommend!

Promising but for some odd reason it doesn't give me option to purchase it... the option is greyed out making it unable to choose... other then that playlist epg works great but bummer It doesn't let me purchase... whole point was to use the dvr function... I use nvidia.... hoping to get contact with dev.... update I got all the kinks worked out quick tip clear cache and data for google play store and do reinstall for pvr ... have it working and this is best investment I've purchased love it!!!!

Great App, especially with the latest update, where you can use local playlists to categorize the channels, along with great support from the developer, wish if there is a way to easily search the program guide, but I guess this is limited to live channels app.

Uidsted review. Pros are it's integrated into live TV of Android tv and the developer is responsive. Few things that could be improved, some that may not possible outside the developers control, however the developer is prompt to help and seems keen to develop further.

Can't seem to figure out how this thing works is there a Wiki or something on how to set it up properly I have set it up with my m3u it is confirmed my channels and playlist but then there is nothing for me to play the channels back I've tried and her grading sample PVR into it but it does nothing to allow me to record what am I doing wrong

Works really good. Only thing its not showing my channel groups, it just says All next to the guide, and all channels in the guide not in any order. would be perfect if it showed my channel groups or at least sort by alphabetical order.

Great app, but need more options and access to them without setup again Also needs more live channel rows. Also multi view for 4 channels. Ability to turn off vod for XC. #nivdiashieldtv and non-play-store device.

Great app if you have a TVheadend server. The developer is always quick to support their app, and extremely helpful. It's the perfect solution for using TVheadend in Live Channels.
