Auctions are so much fun because you can bid on items that you'd like to have - and your dollars makes a difference - The Auction App just made the experience easier.
I enjoy both silent and live auctions but I don't enjoy just wandering around trying to watch the status of my bids. This was sooooo much easier.
I've worked at setting up in-person auctions, but this one was a virtual auction - no tables, no paper, no live people - but still lots of interaction and fun.
The concept of an auction is always fun and entertaining. Having a mobile app involved just simplified the whole process.
I know some organizations like to have a lot of items to auction - big and small. We only had about 30 items in our auction and it still was interesting and raised about $1,000.
To me, it's amazing that I can bid for my favorite items from my lazy-boy recliner - never having to spend my whole evening attending an event at a local hotel or convention center.
I had never heard of on-line Auction Apps until I received an email from my favorite nonprofit. I signed up and found out PWI Auction was pretty easy to use.
This app was pretty innovative. It uses the latest technology to instantaneously keep track of all of the bids that are happening throughout the auction process.
I appreciated how the app handled the payments. There was no need for a separate payment table and people to support it.
Our nonprofit was able to raise as much or more than in the past, with a drastic reduction in the effort and overhead. Hope to do this each year!
It's like a game. I found Auction was easy to use and it was fun watching the bids for the items I was interested in.
Such a unique way to bid for items I would enjoy anyways (like bidding and winning a free Estate Plan) and also make a contribution to make a difference.
I hadn't heard of Project World Impact. It seems like a neat company with a neat mission. It helped our nonprofit to raise a significant amount of money through their Auction App.
There may be other apps that perform a similar function, but PWI Auction doesn't take percentage of the proceeds. It all goes to the nonprofit.
I was able to focus in on the one or two items I was really interested in without having to hover over the table where they were sitting - so much more relaxing.
One thing I noticed is that Auction gave me a message when one of my items was overbid - gave me a chance to bid again if I wanted.
My kids auctioned items they made with their class. I think those were the items with the most bids.
I've been to a lot of auctions for fundraising - always using paper. I was surprised how much better it was using an App
If your organization has never used an auction as a fundraiser, I think you should consider it - especially now that it can be on-line. I think just about every nonprofit could benefit.
I like it when I can find creative ways to raise funds to impact those in need. The Auction App proved to be one of those ways.
I have particpated in three different on-line auctions. I really liked how PWI Auction worked. Good job!
I wondered how a mobile app would work. Once I signed in, it was very easy and painless.
PWI gives me so many different ways I can support my favorite nonprofits. Auction is a great example.
The Auction App had some neat features (like how it keeps track of bidding that's going on) and operated as advertsied.
I was skeptical of how it all would work, but the Auction App made it quite fun and easy.
I invited my friends to participate in an auction for my favorite cause. Because they didn't have to go to the event, a couple of them bid on a few items.
I was younger than most of the people at the auction, so I really appreciated the technology rather than the paper and pencil.
It's versitile - it handled the silent auction, live auction, and raffle. Thankful for that.
Love it because I couldn't stay for the whole event - I had to go somewhere else and would have missed all the bidding.
It's a lot of work to set up an auction. Although a lot of the work still has to be done (like obtaining the items and putting together the descriptions and pictures), a mobile app like PWI Auction helps to automate the rest of the process.
