PWS-WU Free

Connection error and won't load any data. Tried different stations and all the same. Looking for a WUnderground replacement. I'll keep looking.

ETA: Thanks for the 5/6/19 update Dev - BACK AND WORKING :) Previously...: Was great, instant view of PWS data (though no history for free version and interface too clunky to charge for :/). Dev just announced that it is no more as Wunderground servers have been turned off. Dev should withdraw app if this is the case (but thanks for what you have provided thus far).

Pretty good! Could use some more customizability. For example I'd like to change pressure to hPa but leave temp on Fahrenheit. Some graphs and history would be nice too!

This app does exactly what it's supposed to do...store pws records! 😊

Doesn't load anything.

Used to like it, when you could se graphs and set a date. Now this is downgraded and useless. Will uninstall and never pay ransom.

Very nice start, look forward to more features. Would be nice to allow changing the current weather station from my list in the hamburger menu.

This app if same one worked great on iphone but will not connect on new android. Any suggestions.

Excellent for showing past data. I had been looking for something with plots like this for months. If you were really brilliant you would add trend plots over say weeks, months and years. But I'm happy with this nice easy to use app.

Constant connection error. Never made it any farther than the screen to enter my PWS ID, even after most recent update.

This simply displays data from my Ambient Weather PWS. Very simply. Very useful. Dark theme and widgets please! Looks a bit bland, but does the job perfectly! One wish: Please make the widget launch the app. When I tap the widget nothing happens. Shouldn't be hard.

Great app and great developer attached to it. Easy interface, powerful, and allows me to check the winds when coming in for landing at my local airport. We have a airfield ambient weather station. Works great with PWS-WU app.

Installed easily on Samsung S5 and displayed data immediately from WU. An auto-refresh function would be a huge improvement. Would also really appreciate seeing 'Apparent Temperature', 'Wind Chill' or "Feels Like Temp' (it's just a formula): Version including the effects of temperature, humidity, and wind: AT = Ta + 0.33×e − 0.70×ws − 4.00 where: Ta = Dry bulb temperature (°C) e = Water vapour pressure (hPa) [humidity] ws = Wind speed (m/s) at an elevation of 10 meters The vapour pressure can be calculated from the temperature and relative humidity using the equation: e = rh / 100 × 6.105 × exp ( 17.27 × Ta / ( 237.7 + Ta ) ) where: rh = Relative Humidity [%] Thanks for providing a free App without Ads - happy to contribute.

Will not connect after entering PWS ID. Returns to ID screen. Have Ambient Weather WS2902 with Updated Firmware 3.0.3. Works with Weather Underground.

It would be better if you could mix units, for instance metric for all, but mph for wind. It doesn't scale on a tablet either. I look forward to seeing further updates.

It keeps dropping my site I'd requiring me to re-enter it. So I can't use it until I can go look up my id

Seems pretty good but when changing to metric in settings the rainfall is wrong. It's a negative number for me right now. Thanks!

Use this on a Note 8. Worked great until last update. Now it constantly requires re-entering the station ID

Keeps giving me a "connection error" and requires me to re-enter station ID over and over again. Sometimes it will connect and provide my PWS info but 90% of the time it gives error... Great concepts if it worked...

Hi The app gives me what I want - reporting data, not prediction. The date selection hangs on my phone and I have to cancel the app

Excelente app for all the Android users that cant get the wunder station app. Does everything I want and displays everything I have on my station. I'm not sure what the daily statistics temp reading is though...

Amazing alternative to WU App. Only thing id say is to have mph and Celsius together on units for next update! Great app still

Great simple app to retrieve PWS info quickly without any unnecessary add one. Only thing I would like to see added is a wind chill calculation based on readings
