Python for Beginners

A fabulous set of tutorials to get you going using Python. These are not ordinary "watch and repeat" tutorials that you traditionally find on the internet. Each video will set a task for the learner to complete and if the learner needs a little support to complete the task then there is always a solution video on hand too.
The app itself will expand over time, but so far there are 6 distinct python tasks to make. A simple calculator program, a hi lo game, a magic 8 ball and a random name picker. These would keep new programmers busy in class for a fair few hours and this app is an ideal tool to help cover the requirements of the new computing curriculum in the UK. Of course it will also benefit anyone on the planet who can follow a bit of spoken English and wants to learn to code in python too.

Users will need to download Python and we will be using the IDLE IDE to get going.

This is a great video teaching tool to begin with. I really liked the way it was presented. However in the videos, some of the words shown in the code was hard to read for those of us who use glasses. I would suggest maybe using a larger font next time. Overall I would recommend any person just starting with Python to get this.

Thank you for creating this app, finally I found what I need, I am tired of my those college courses where teachers are saying Linux, Windows and iOS are the same, and they are sai you can install the same app on all end you don't have to create a new file with a different extension. Based on the good reviews I'd love to use this app, but after installing I try to download the content and I don't have enough internal storage space. Since it's a large app, is there a possibility to enable it to be moved to external storage? Thanks for considering and for all your hard work.

Great app to learn basics. Liked the way how concepts are explained with examples that are interesting & challenging. Concepts are explained in order that makes learning more interesting. Good job! Very nice, non-threatening presentation. Logical, fun sequencing and hands-on method. Would agree that zooming in closer on the code would be very helpful. Don't be ashamed that you are still learning it too. Making tutorials is the absolute best way to reinforce learning. You might want to move to a YouTube channel and let people subscribe. Make and post new tutorials as you progress in your learning. I'd sure subscribe. 😁

If you are a beginner and you are interest in code and learning about python language programming this is the program for you...!!!
