App was working great until update on Dec. 26. Since I updated to the most recent version the app crashes each time I try to open it. Uninstalled the app then reinstalled. App now works but you cannot use fingerprint recognition to login as it crashes the app. *Changed back to 1 star because it's been over 1 mth since last update that caused issues & doesn't look like a fix will be coming anytime soon.
Just got everything working. Who calls camera firmware update "Cloud Update?" Q-SEE Plus is who... Went to camera on app, then gear icon upper right, scrolled down to "Cloud Upgrade" and clicked it. It showed current cam firmware and version it could be updated to. Upgraded and now I am happy as can be!!! IT ALL WORKS!! Now on my Q-SEE Beacon in the app, under alarm information, I can have motion detection toggled on to get a notification when UPS drops off package, then open app and toggle on siren activation so if anyone approaches package in motion zone the alarm immediately fires off to protect it. This was specifically why I bought this camera. Thanks Q-SEE!!!! Btw, if Q-SEE would have called it "camera firmware update" I wouldn't have thought it was a link to buy their cloud video storage and it would have saved a lot of frustration.
I own 3 inside wireless cameras that I can rarely view from the app on my phone. I have a complete 8 camera outside system as well. The app and system leaves a lot to be desired. As someone else said, 19th Century Technology. I am removing the outside system tomorrow and replacing it with a Lorex. There app and system leaves a lot to be desired. I noticed Costco no longer sell the Qsee Systems. That tells you something. Been trying to login into the inside cameras for over an hour. No luck so far.
All my cameras stop working, tried everything and kept getting error messages. Can't even delete devices to re-add it!!! Tried resetting, unplugged, tried different phone, tried updating the app but I don't seem to be the only one having issues. Please advise!!!
Finally got my first 2 to Connect, had to download a program on my computer to format the SD cards to Fat32, I also had to go into my computers dos menu and make a dedicated 2.4ghz wifi channel just to connect these cameras since I have a triband router. I ended up buying 6 more cameras, this time from Sam's club and EVERY SINGLE ONE wont let me turn on the memory cards, tried the exact same cameras from Home Depot and no problems. Try to get a hold of tech support lmfao good luck! No responce.
it has slowed down my phone so much. I can barely use the internet if I'm not on wifi. might have to uninstall it off my phone. will be a shame cause the cameras work really good. and the app works really good. I can see my house from a ywhere any time. good quality pics and videos.
Company now out of business, app no longer works and it caused all cams to not record anymore. Only thing i can do i watch live. I downloaded an app called tiny cam, which actually connected to all my cams, and seems to work. I've only had time to play with 1 cam, but it does record again.
Tried multiple times to add camera. Each time app shuts down before finishing. Usually at step where you need to have phone volume turned up. Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, reset cameras, and unplugged and plugged in again. No luck.
had camera connected and working last night. woke up this morn, no longer working and everytime I scan to add it says already added but can't pull device up. tried resetting multiple times but didn't work. Can't send email to company keeps failing.
Terrible product. I'll be returning the 4 cameras I purchased to Costco. There is no way to set it up with the app which essentially makes these cameras useless.. come on Q-See, I expected better. I have 4 off brand cameras currently I was going to switch out but somehow those have a better app that actually works.
The qsee apps are getting better, still not to dlink level though. To enable h.265 you have to use other app "Qsee QC View" in device manager settings. Q-See plus notifcations come in random bursts of 20 or 30, not in order and sometimes from over a day ago. The notifications are not instant, even on same wifi as camera (4k white with PIR). Tested on LGMS550 7.0 mpcs. (to compare dlink, digoo, nest, siricam, xfinity cam notifications are near instant.)
Downgraded to 1 star, because app support is useless. very hard to get set up unless you follow instructions exactly. the cam can only use 2.4 wifi, so make sure your phone is using the same 2.4 wifi band. if phone is on 5Gz, it wont work. Disable your 5gz band temporarily at the router during cam setup. make sure the cam is right next to the router. dont plug in cam until instructed. took about 1 hour for 1st cam, about 10 minutes for 2nd. Under 5 minutes for third and fourth cams.
Bought the QCW4K1MCW and it will not contect to the network wired or wireless. I've been trying everything for over a hour. I'm ready to box this camera back up and return it to the store.
Can't log in to the app. Q-SEE USA went out of business and shut down their server that controls access. I reached out to Q-SEE International and they said that they will restore the service soon. Wanted to let others know since it was absolutely not obvious what is going on.
I recently noticed my 3 cameras are not working properly on the qsee plus app. Have you done something different to an update? If not fixed, I would not recommend buying any qsee products at this time.
Horrible app. It's so complicated. It keeps telling network error, unknown error. Won't let sign up new account..
My cameras stopped working 8 months ago, I can't even sign in on the app. 50+ messages to Custmer Support (via Google support page because my App won't open), and NO reply from Customer Support after 8 months. I guess my cameras are TRASH???
App still not working after Q See appears to have closed. No luck finding support for my webcams online. I have resorted to purchasing new blink webcams , Amazon Prime Days special only $49.99 for Blink Mini 3 pack.
Its a shame that we can no longer sign in anymore. Seems they closed down and now we have a camera purchased cant be able to use and no support help at all.
Rubbish app, crashes every time I open it, I can't even get my details in, and apparently the reviews on here are correct.. Fix the app and make better products that actually work..
My app doesn't work no more and there are no more updates 😕 terrible app, great design and point of view but terrible software what a shame, please do not buy these cameras, they're a big mistake
This is what I hate and despise about a lot of the new high tech devices and cameras is that we are 100% dependent on them being in business and once they're out we're out of luck. No consumer protection at all. Cameras are now useless.
Q see closed shop and took down all their servers so nothing works anymore. Can't even login to the app to see the cameras that used to work. This app shouldn't even be on the play store anymore
All good In the beginning but now it's saying Failed to connect. Tried to delete the camera and then reload but it will not do it. .......Frustrating......
Works well,except the pan and tilt controls make it hard to get precise placement where u want it,(would be better if you could move view with your fingers,swipe etc)also you can't turn off night vision( which most cameras allow you to do)also it just started saying"play error,refresh and try again" and wont show live view,but the QC view PC program shows the live view!!
