App would not connect, recieved error "failed to coonect". I found a work around. Q-see uses dahua cameras and rebrands them Q-see. I used Dahua's app gDMSS lite which is the same as q-see view. Works fine for me using ip/ddns. Basically any Q-see product will work with Dahua and vise versa. I use Q-see view on my MacBook to remote view my Dahua DVR. Also buying from Dahua is way cheaper then Q-see. Downside the tech support is not there. But check ebay, and Allie express if your not on a hurry and want to save money on cctv equipment.
Ptz control takes up 1/2 of screen in portrait mode without ability to remove it thus the pictures are too small to see. All off my cameras are fixed. In landscape mode the pictures are stretched full screen making them distorted and difficult to view. You also can't pick just one camera to view. Your choices are 4, 6, 9 and 16. I have not had connection problems others are having, but since the pictures are too small or distorted connection is a moot point. The ptz problem has been an issue for many months without an update which points to a company with a disregard for customer service.
Server base camera systems are junk.. We tried 4 riff brands and unfortunately this was the best out of them but not near perfect. Also all the complaints on the button. Turn your phone sideways and double tap screen. Button goes away. Come on people.
My cameras continue to not load. I have indoor camera systems that load. So it's not a connectivity issue.. Your ap is slooooow to load and the cameras sometimes never load.
It works with my note 3 but with my new note edge it has to be connected through home WiFi to get connected. Otherwise, it is useless. The application has to be rewrite for different types of smartphone to make it work.
This app seems as if it were made by an intern who was then fired before he/she could be paid. Very bad app. No option to download video clips without watching the whole thing first. Useless.
Very confusing app. Doesn't work either. This is a 90s interface style app that needs to be rewritten. I have played with it for almost an hour with no luck. I have a qc series NVR and cams.
Since update I can not view on either phone . Apple or Android operating system. The unit itself works great
Works ok with some older NVR's, but not at all in some cases with newer NVR's especially with IP cameras with the newer h265 video encoding. Time for a serious compatibility update!
Crashes all the time on various Android devices. Developer doesn't fix it.
Qsee app and its physical system ui/ux is garbage!
Very useful app if you own the relevant hardware. Unfortunately, a lot of the menus aren't cropped or sized correctly making the text hard or Impossible to read.
Scan n view option no longer works with the last update. I would give this 0 stars if I could. This was a great app until the last release. Obviously, versions are not tested before they are released. Thankfully, they didn't screw up the SD version yet since it still works.
Needs work, icons are to small app is in and out and locks up alot. Please fix this app. Sometimes great pictures and sometimes bad views. Tiny tiny icons why? They are hard to see and click on, i don't understand? The app has a mind of it own.
We love it! Works perfectly. Love that we can always view what's happening around our home at all times! Anytime, in bed if we hear a noise or cross country. It's awesome once you figure it out.
Your app works great on wifi but doesn't work when on LTE or regular network. Could you please look at this and get it fixed?

Like others said, the ptz takes half my screen!!! Can't even see the 7 cameras I have let alone more. Basically a worthless app. Uninstalling and trying a 3rd party app.
Just installed my system, scanned the qr code, and was able to see all my cameras on my tablet and phone!

Maybe the worst DVR app! Won't Autoload cameras at startup..have to go menu to find every time. And of course the PTZ controls take up over 1/2 the screen because everyone has ptz on their house...right?? Wrong

Terrible interface never gets updates.
Disappointed that the app shuts down or drops the camera view on both the android and iOS tablet platforms. Seems like a memory problem. Really wish the developer would correct these issues. Have 2 android tablets on this and they worked fine for awhile, now one repeatedly abends on the camera views, similar to the ipad memory issue.
