App is really bad I try to connect to my tablet ..9 out of 10 times server not found and when it actually connects after 50 tries the cameras do not load all that fast. I just bought this dvr and not pleased with the app so far I will wait a week or so if not I will return it for a swann or z-modo
This app had improved over time. Now your back to breaking backwards compatibility. Come on folks some of us actually use this for home security on tablets and I'm damned well NOT going to upgrade hardware to make it work!!
Still having issues, more than 2 years and thete still is no update to fix this issue why does the app for IOS get updates that actually fix things and not android? Original review: Have yet to be able to log in more then once. If I want to log in, I have to go into the settings of the app, clear all the history, default settings and cache. After all that I then have to retype all the login info. Cameras are nice, but their programmes need a lot of help
Fix this, for gods sake ip Cam viewer can load the dvr cameras but your POS app keeps telling me invalid server address! Even when I DMZ and use my ip address directly, screw this app I am going back to ip Cam Viewer!
Updated the Q-See QT HD app and it has gone from tolerable to garbage. Keep getting a IP error message. Help desk claimed it was my router, which doesn't explain why the standard Q-See QT version works fine as does my Nest cameras.
I've had this for over a year and I'm lucky if I can get it to work once a week. Always telling me failed to connect to server. Piece of junk. About to give up on q-see all together
The app works great...when you open it the first time. After that it crashes every single time until I reinstall it, then I get another single use out of it. Same goes for the regular app on my phone. The only consistently working thing is the web view, but that only works in Internet Explorer under administrator mode which is just crazy! Please fix the errors. Customer support was useless and blamed it all me and my devices even though I tried it on a tablet (note pro) and 2 different phones (gs5 and gs6 edge). Pretty ridiculous...
Will not scan QR code. Will not connect manually. Very disappointed. Please fix or redesign whatever needs to make this work and get 5 stars.
Used to work awesome. Now my tablet and phone are unable to connect to server. Before this week, 5 stars, today only 3. Please fix
Will only connect to server when it is on Wi-Fi on the home network, will not connect when its on 4G. Just stopped working this month, please fix.
More of the same crappy software this company always puts out. Don't buy this company's products if any software is required.
I hate you q-see, and am getting tired of this, I thought we have app so we can view cams while away from home? Most of the time it will say can not find server!!! Besides Q-see really does not have good system support, could never get answers to my questions, like what is the difference between QT and QC, seriously they don't know???? And most of thier cameras only have 70° view angle, not bad but they don't sell wider angles. Do you notice all the 5 stars are from people that don't write anything!????? OK, There is a new app that works way better and is faster from q-see, so sad that never told me of it or why they can not fix this one....
This version (tablet) works better than the phone version. Only wish u could see all play back from all cameras on 1 screen, like u can when watching "live".
Fails to connect to server more than it connects. When it does log on its great. Please fix or let me know why it keeps failing to connect.
Spams you with notification icon which is hard to get rid of. Had to make android block all notifications for this app.
I really like how the app operates the system from anywhere except it doesn't stay logged in. When it is logged in, the alarm alert works great. You just don't know when it logs out.

Constantly fails to connect. Really only works with wifi. Doesn't matter if I have full bars 4G.
Well this app used to work. This was the only app that would search events. Now it doesn't connect at all. The (non) HD version works but that doesn't search events. So they need to add events to the other app or get this one fixed.

This app will not connect to the server. Luckily the standard definition QT app will let me view my cameras, only in low definition. Glad I shelled out that money for 1080p cameras. FIX THIS APP!
Always can't connect to the server. & when the alarm go on, it stop working.
It shows Fail to connect to server every time I try. It worked one time only. Pretty nice quality but it would be better if it works all the time
Great app when it works...but now it says invalid server and won't connect at all. Please fix this bug.
Won't connect. Always reads "failed to connect to server" on Android tablet. Works occasionally on iphone 6s.

Video stutters too much. Not too many other problems. Sometimes get the failed to connect message. Worst problem is the enormous drain on the battery. I'm lucky if i can get 1.5 solid hours of viewing on my tablet. Now that I've used it more, I've noticed that my device heats up pretty hot while using this app.
