Q13 FOX

I hate they put editing buttons at the bottom of the screen. The last article never gets read because you can only see a little of the top of the article. Why can't they have the editing buttons on a side screen like everyone else? Very Frustrating...

No Chromecast Support. Enormous amount of 3rd party calls in the background. Your data is going everywhere! Ad blocking breaks the live news feed by delaying it indefinitely. No ad-free subscription options. The app has nothing useful I couldn't use the website to achieve. Edit: Still the same 2 years later. Now the Live News link doesn't even load a video. Pathetic.

Absolutely terrible app. More often than not, it was spam the living hell out of your notifications and then when you actually click on one to see the story it goes to a blank page that says Android users click here if this doesn't work and then when you do it gives you an error page or blank page or maybe sometimes when it feels like it, the Q13 default page. You don't ever get to read or view the story. That would be too much to ask. Avoid this app like the plague it was written by amateurs obviously. Utter garbage.

The news app would be MUCH better if there were actual categories for articles, not just every article lumped together without direction. For example, having categories such as "local news", "national news", "international news", "sports" etc, perhaps with subcategories like "North Sound", "South Sound" to further organize articles. As it is now, its messy, chaotic, and visually confusing. That's the number one reason I avoid the Q13 app unless absolutely necessary.

Not as "Live and Local" as I'd prefer. Love the station, the people and styles of reporting. However - via phone - the LIVE button has ti be searched for, lotsa advertisements. I got rid of ALL cable connections (saves me $100/month) and tried using phone to get the local news ... the radio looks to be the best option for that/local news.

After working well, for the last week it is again showing instability. Each time it transitions to a commercial it goes into an endless holding pattern. After refreshing the screen a commercial shows, followed by either another commercial or back to the news with no sound for either. This time it takes several refreshes before it works.

I'm giving it a 3 for this reason, although I understand that you need the advertising for revenue and such it is still kind of annoying that there are so many in the way of the actual news. In every excerpt when watching a video thread there is one and really turn me off to going back and checking with the app at all.

Why do your notifications take me to your website, but if I hit back takes me to your app? Would be nice to select specific categories to receive notifications from, or not receive about.

I love the new Fox 13 app although it says 2:13 you know when I basically log into it because when I basically get on the app it says 2:13 or shall we see it says now Fox 13 Seattle formerly 213 Fox Seattle but what I'd like to see is Fox News in the United States as well what I would like to see in the app our affiliates such as Fox 5 in San Diego because I used to live in San Diego and I can tell you I kind of miss what goes on down there so I kind of like to watch Fox News in San Diego.

I love FOX but this is the worst news app ever! You show six or so news stories and as you scroll down there they are again, and again, and again! Get some new stories and quit filling the pages with repeat news of which some is weeks old and no longer news! Also too much advertising space!

why does the live feed screen on the app not have a full screen option but when you hit the link for your website on the bottom and it shows the same screen in your website just with the fullscreen option that isn't on the apps live feed screen. just a small but irritating thing that makes the live feed halfway useless if you have to hit the link to your website anyway to watch in fullscreen. wouldn't even wrote a review but you guys are q13 you should be on top of little things like that.

None of the streaming videos actually play. Can't stream live either. Every single one gives an error "something went wrong, please try another video" tried on multiple devices, and it's definitely not my network.

After the latest update the video only plays for about 10 seconds then stops. I get an error saying unfortunately something went wrong, try another video. Happens with any video or live stream.

You like pop ups? You'll love this news app. With whatever update they just did, the app now pushes articles onto your screen while you're trying to read another article. Very... Very... Very... Annoying.

You show the same add. 5 or 6 times back to back. I won't watch no more. Good bye.

Why does that notification settings box have to pop up every time the app is opened. Annoying! I don't want notifications!! Never have! Never will! And please organize the articles!!

Good app. Initially downloaded it to see if I could use it with a Chromecast but left it installed as the push alerts are actually good and don't get annoying.

Overall I like q13, but I'm constantly having to reboot my chometv because of this app. I hardly ever have to do this with other apps.

this app is ok for some local stuff and weather reports, but it does not let you cast to your Chromecast equipt devices. it use to work, but now it doesn't......design flaw?

I have to keep unistalling and re installing app to get it to work..I install..when i open it up..It keeps saying..Unable to unistall app..i turn off phone..turn on..try to open your app again..same thing..never had a problem with this app..

app constantly stops working. I'm done with it. It's a shame because Q13 online news is more plentiful, on point, and up to date than other local MSM outlets.

I downloaded it again, too many adds, stories posted too long. Still leaving stories on after the initial story is done, for instance the Naya Rivera story. the adds are very annoying

this app is awesome, when it actually opens. I just recently got a galaxy s10, everytime I open this app my phone closes it immediately. i took my phone in and they told me that it's the app. dissapointed.

Every video I play after a few seconds says " something went wrong, try another video." Website works, the app does not.

It crashes nearly every day. I've sent logs for months on crashes, no improvement.

Very good pages Easy-to-Read can see the photos on each page for topic, and I like the colors of the web pages
