Qantas Cash

This app worked fine for a while, but then just stopped working in the last 6 weeks. Very inconvenient when overseas and could not log in - just getting a blank screen when opened. Was able to log in a few times since being home, but again now it doesn't work. Login screen comes up but nothing happens when I click the login button.

I'm putting this review here because no one at Qantas Cash seems to care otherwise. Still waiting on a replacement card within a few days of the current one expiring and it has still not arrived. Several services attached to the card have automatically been disconnected due to an expiry date being reached on the credit card. Called them twice in a month and they said it's on it's way but still hasn't arrived. I'll be changing cards. The app is serviceable but not very extensive and you'll have login problems if they're doing any maintenance which they also won't tell you about. Loading facilities are cumbersome. You only get one Qantas point for every $4 spent in Australia. Other cards like 28 Degrees are better overseas so don't bother with this one.

I'm currently over seas and the app keeps crashing and not letting me sign in. The last thing you need whilst traveling is the added stress of not being able to access funds or check the balance. Have tried uninstalling, reloading, disconnecting and reconnecting wifi, reset my phone.. When it co-operates the app is useful for sure..

Consistently difficult to log in. "Please wait" screen can show for up to 15 minutes. Frequently get invalid ssl certificate notification. Been having this problem all year. Deleted app and re-downloaded many times, selected "forget me on this device" many times and problem continually persists. Have changed to a different card with much better exchange rates ($100 better over £1000) and an app with zero problems.

Used it a while ago & was great. Logged in recently & it shows I have a $100 balance when I'm sure I dont, cant check transactions, load money button doenst work absolutely useless! Update 27/3 I am still waiting for a return phonecall from 3 days ago regarding this app & my account! I have money sitting on this card but I'm not able to use it & noone can tell me what the issue is!!!

Team, this is ridiculous. Like others have said, the sign on hardly ever works over seas. You cannot check your balance, or top up with this when you need to. Please, invest in your dev team and allow them to fix this. And please, don't ask me to contact your support email, as it will literally just be a repeat of this text here. Others have the same issue. Its a common issue. I will NOT be using my Qantas Card any longer, as this is all too inconvenient.

Very disappointed by the service as a whole. App Server doesn't always respond. Expenses charged twice. Its incidence lodging service crashes most of the times. Transaction query can't be resolved through the App. I will not use this payment service again.

Summary: App doesn't do what it's designed to do. 1. Wouldn't accept security answers. Same answers were correct when calling support. 2. Once logged in, the Load Money button didn't work. Just opened the Account screen again.

Using Android? Then use your Qantas card when travelling, just don't use this app. it is rubbish, and probably wont even load after login. 90% of the time is just a constant loading icon, literally indefinately. Just open Travel Money in a browser window. This app is not worth the download.

I have used the card in Europe and USA on HTC phone, never had an issue, loading, using as credit card or obtaining cash from ATM. When withdrawing cash NEVER agree to have the withdrawn cash, converted back to Australian dollars, you will get drilled on the exchange rate conversion, this occurrs on most other travel cards.

9 times out of ten it wont open just a spinning wheel of frustration. reading all the similar reviews below you would think this would be addressed without the need for each one of us having to contact customer care those rare times it does open ..its good!

used to be able to clearly log in, load and transfer currency, now I can't see how to do that. will have to go home to pc computer and do this. thank goodness I am not currently traveling!

Too unreliable. When you need it to work it just doesn't. Can't use it as a dependable travel card as you often can't access it.

Ok. Using the Android app it asks if you want to set up using phone's fingerprint security and when you choose "yes" nothing happens.

Paying through the nose to gain Qantas points, Intl exchange rates are Inflated by 8% to 9% over standard Google rates, no value proposition travelling with it, only useful within Australia because you are loading Australian to Australian, hence no Forex rates.

no acces to Travel Money details. Used old app for Qantas Cash and was fine. got redirected now to Qantas Travel Money and cannot find balances and details. terrible.

Basic application, functionality and information could be significantly improved. Statements wont download, therefore very limited transaction history available.

Load money button does nothing, both in the app and the website. Can't use the travel card if I can't put money on it.

new app ...a step back bards bad interface , much better before. and to change default currency . have to call a "CALL CENTRE" the old Q CASH APP WAS GREAT!! why change it pathetic!!!

Doesn't work overseas using a VPN. What's the point of a travel cash app that doesn't work overseas?

no link to Qantas Travel money. and as this replaces the Qantas Travel money app, I no longer have access to that account

Whenever I actually needed to use the app, it wouldn't even load to the log in screen.

When it works, it's great, but every few months I have to reinstall as it just stops doing anything.

Terrible, cannot transfer aud to usd. how? the apps don't work.

Should have listened to the reviews, doesn't open most of the time. May as well go to the website.
