This app is simply frustrating. I had some queries prior to my flight but I can't connect to the help center due to some linking error. It says that my email ID is invalid even though it is what I used during registration. This app needs immediate update.
I have saved my personal information, got email confirmation, but the information is missing on the tool when I login 2nd time. This is very frustrating since a simple save is not working as it does on other airline interfaces. Extremely unreliable app and needs a fix ASAP before losing customers
I really like this airline but this is a terrible app with numerous bugs making it largely unusable. In all seriousness, it's better not to have an app and simply direct users to a functioning mobile website than to have one like this that probably causes significant damage to your brand. Fix it, or get rid of it please.
Can't even open the app - it just freezes while asking for notification permissions. Everything about an airline app should be designed to get you to flight info and tools as fast and frictionlessly as possible. This app puts animations, permissions and more in the way.
The app is okay. I generally prefer Qatar Airways, but the customer service at Doha transfer/hotel bookings is atrocious and employees are very rude. Also the rest "beds" in the rest area of the business lounge are shaped in such a way that it's impossible to sleep. My last flight (19/12) had a 6-hour lay-over in Doha, so I paid almost $100 extra to be able to rest, but it was impossible, so it made for a miserable trip. Please take a look at these issues. Not good for an award-winning airline.
Why is it so slow? It takes about a minute or more to even load up the initial screen. Then everything you try to do thereafter takes further minute. However, it keeps timing out on "manage my booking" screen. Does not work.
Qatar Airways voted best airline in world. This statement is a joke. I downloaded this app 24 hours ago, filled in all details and I'm still waiting for the verification email to be sent to me. I have requested this verification more than 20 times now and not a single response was received. I then decided to check in online, the process was long but worked just fine until I had the option choose my seats. I made a few attempts to change my seating arrangements and each time the request failed.
Useless app. Everything needs to add manually and many times it automatically remove the flights from list. Really frustrating and it even load so slow. Server is too slow to respond.
It's quite good but 1) way too slow and 2) requires data even to display a boarding pass which is unbelievable since you shouldn't need data for an already downloaded pass and you often don't have it abroad and 3) things randomly disappear, eg past trips, the boarding pass, lounge info
I have had good experiences using the app. I however have an issue with my avios from previous flights not been added up. I spoke to some of QA personnel in Hammad International airport but they couldn't resolve it.
Extremely slow app and website. It is like someone developed this app (and website) on their desktop and it went straight into production without a performance test. It takes more than 15 seconds for the launch page to render on the app. Their website is no different. It is very frustrating to use both the app and the website.
Absolutely astonishing service from Qatar Airways. Helped me with everything when I wanted to reschedule my flight and always provided me with all the info. Great work, keep it up. Great app as well :D
There is so many bugs and loading screens everytime you try to do something. It crashes everytime when i try to select my seats so i guess I wont be able to do it. French translation is horrible it even translated my name. After 4hours of trying to book a flight and not being able to do it cause of the crashes and bugs I gave up and booked it with my bank I still havent chose my seats. If you absolutely need to make reservations directly with qatar airways i would recommend to call a week off.
Extremely slow with limited functionality. For simple transition, you need to visit their Extremely slow website. I spent an hour unsuccessfully to purchase lounge access. NOT RECOMMEND
Whenever there is a promotions, there will be errors while using the app.. also there is no link to redirect user to main website and no links to contact directly for complains, if you choose contact center you will be directed to a page that never works!! Also can't enter my activity portal... Shameful to have such app for such organisation.
Your pretty looking App failed to show information about my trip just a few hours before my flight. Events like that are very stressful. That alone kills the point of having your app installed at all.
Strange that such a big international airline has such a bad app. I have faced multiple issues with this app- slow, takes long time to load each screen, all the mandatory info is complete still apps says info is incomplete, doesn't save the info like food preferences etc. This app always frustrate me. Hope someone will improve the user experience.
Customer service needs a review! Whenever there is a problem and I need to speak to someone, it takes forever. Even when I was in the actual doha airport, there was nobody to help regarding booking issues. They kept saying call the hotline, but then nobody answers or was helpful. I wish I could speak to customer service through the app! That would be a big help!!
The most worst experience. İ had ever. last month, I traveled from Istanbul to İslamabad. when is reached Islamabad I checked my bag and it was damaged. I told to Qatar airways staff but they didn't respond me. After that, i even complained online, filled the form and even emailed to the qatar airways but still no one has responded me yet. I chose this airline just because of its name and it’s best services but after my damage and no reply from your side it has left a Negative impression.
Changed travel dates are not reflected in the app. Pressing entry requirements to singapore leads to a almost blank page saying 'travel to UK'. Very very poor...unusable app
Considering size of the airline the app is very poor. constantly getting errors, and seat selection Nevers works, and very unclear status of whether you checked in or not..
App is pretty bad for airline as Qatar. I can't even select a fare as a error occurs all tie time. Also the cooy paste answers of the creators are unacceptable. I won't submit any feedback, no time for that.
From reading many of the reviews written by other people here, it is blindingly obvious that this app is completely useless and decidedly not fit for purpose. I suggest, sincerely, and I am someone who really likes your airline very much, although communication and customer service is extremely poor; that you just make a new app from scratch, and dispense with this current one.
During purchase from the site, it stated, "Sorry, an error has occurred. Please try back at a later time." I tried again, and was successful problem is that when it stated an error, it also charged me, I didn't think to look at my bank account. I contacted customer service and learned I'd have to wait for them to return the money taken during the error..... Don't purchase from the site. I was told this happens OFTEN from members of their team, NOT GOOD.
Terrible app. Went through the whole process to book a flight online and the app refuses to allow me to book it. Now the app won't let me log in, it keeps telling me to use the online website. I booked flights on the website, received email confirmation, but the website still doesn't show my booking at all. Why are your systems so terrible? For a professional, international airline I really expected better. What's going on with you?
This app is buggy, for such airline I'd expect they invest in mobile app and not to have to reinstall it again once error about some weird autorisation error occurs for whatever reason. I've booked with QA b4 there was no need to signup, now they make you do it and offer such painful experience with the app that does not even have support button nor option to normally login. I found some way to login (via contact center) but when I add pwd screen is frozen. Really dissapointing
I tried to book a trip using this app and everytime I got the cryptic error message "Initial search validation failed". Bugs like this make the app virtually unusable.
My 10-year-old can create a superior app. Please stop relying on low-priced freelancers. Each screen necessitates re-authentication. And that will not reveal what you desired. regret and feel sorrow
I could book a flight using this app, and that's pretty much all it can do. I can't add my TTP Known Traveler Number, or my Frequent Flyer number. Every time I enter those numbers and hit submit, it shows an error message. I can't link my profile with my trip - something that should be a basic thing for the app.
