QBOT V3

QBOT V3 is a companion app for V3-enabled QBOT heads. QBOT V3 offers unparalleled control of the quilting process without the steep learning curve. The interface is fresh and intuitive. Features include: Inner boundary 'knock out' for quilting around appliqué or blocks, voice recognition to help you keep your eyes on the quilt, Intuitive chain feature that lets you chain your edge-to-edge design if the original is just an element, user selectable tie off stitches – you decide when to use them and the length of stitching, an amazing %restart routine – allowing you to resume quickly after a thread break, an Overlay routine that allows for modifications like rotation, scale, position, and mirroring, just to name a few of the quilting features. Within design management, you can file your designs in any fashion you wish. A node reduction routine allows you to tame those unruly designs. Line Quilting gives you the ability to perform stitch in the ditch – on the go! The Crosshatch Fill feature is remarkable
- allowing fills around appliqué or other quilting designs. Inner boundaries allow you to quilt around appliqué, embroidery, or block elements. Trim to outer boundary allows you to quilt artistic quilts without the robotic look. You will wonder how you quilted without it!

It's a good app. A little hard to navigate when it comes to picking out patterns. Could be much easier, but overall, its a good program.

I started using QBOT before V3 was released and was quite happy with the programme. V3 has really improved an already great product. Excellent customer service from LiTen Up adds to the app.

I love Qbot V3! However, I just found a bug. I did Pattern Quilting on an edge to edge design that I wanted to test so I trimmed the right side. I stitched the pattern then advanced the quilt and did an overlay. The overlay did not trim. Stitching continued off the right side of the test quilt. Hopefully this bug can be corrected but I will try to remember that in the future. Another minor thing that happened was there was a disconnected pattern that was trimmed off the right but Qbot thought it needed to be stitched. Qbot wasn't able to position to that pattern and I had skipped it. That was the last action before attempting the overlay.

When I first got my upgrade to V3 I installed app on my kindle. It worked immediately. I wanted a bigger screen though so purchased an inexpensive tablet. Was unable to get app via amazon (incompatable) but the qbot people directed me to the Google play store. Easy download from there. Great product.

It does lose connection frequently in the middle of quilting, but otherwise it great. Hoping for a fix for the connection problem.

Love this new version of qbot. Hope you will soon be adding the fill option ie micro stiple\crosshatch so we don't have to keep saving the shapes and having to use eg 5d designs to fill the shape and then having to save this back to the tablet can't get voice recognition to work all the time though

Loses communication at times. Can't run the app to manage designs without qbot being connected. Lost some function that we had in version 2, can't "fill" a defined space.
