Don't even waste your time. The only way I could get contacts to import was either by using a file and typing them in. Won't connect to Google and gives an error with Outlook. Says my Outlook exchange server must allow importing. Qcontactz has full access. 🤷 Useless
This app is useless as it is now since it doesn't offer syncing. All you can do is import your contacts and dedup them. But if you added, modified or deleted a contact, it doesn't sync. You will have to re-import again and do deduplication
The contacts are only available in this app, it doesn't sync to the Android contacts. Although it could be used as a back-up, this severely limits the functionality of this app and the Qnap.
Rubbish. How do you connect to your Carddav accounts.. Host your own files but you can host your own cals. Otherwise useless. Sorry Qnap. Must do better with this app.
Your daily and weekly syncs don't work. I have to manually upload it if I want to update qcontactz with new contacts
Doesn't work. Connects to my NAS and to Google but doesn't download any contacts.
Loaded the latest release. Lousy app won't sign into my QID even though I use the same QID in a browser and it works fine Horrible reliability. App crashes after running in the background for a little while. Have to reload constantly on Galaxy S9. NAS Product is not recommended do to crappie software like this and their backup software.
Useless. Store contacts but can't sync to other apps. Get a call but don't know who unless they are in my google contacts. So why not just use google contacts instead right?
The app works reasonably well, but is pretty useless. All the app lets you do is see what contacts you have stored on the QNAP - as long as you are online. What's up with that - a contacts application that can't even make contacts available offline? And it doesn't integrate with the Android contacts either, so all phone calls and text messages just show up with phone numbers. I also couldn't install it on my tablet - the Play Store says "incompatible device" without explanation. The tablet (Samsung GT-P3113) has Android 4.2.2, much better than the minimum version 4.0.3. That is very surprising since the app doesn't integrate with the phone hardware.
Read instructions carefully. Needs another service running to work.
Can't use it. States that to add permissions, overlays must be turned off. They are turned off and phones won't let it be turned on. App can't be used at all.
I can connect to my 253A NAS again. Everything is fine. Not sure what happened before.
App hangs whenever I try to connect to my nas.
Good contact management tool if you have a QNAP NAS.

Not full featured! Seems Importing Contacts from any source does not include photos that were assigned to individual contacts. I even tried to Import a vCard which I know includes the photo but the photo's data is put in the Notes field. So in the Notes field its just pages of garbage text (which is the photo). And then there is a field added to each phone number labeled Country. But for some reason it is defaulting to Canada. Now I have to modify each & every contact to US.
