One of the most frustrating to use apps I have installed on Android. Trying to register our Advantage account in the app just doesn't work. I tried calling customer service, and everyone I managed to get to would just hang up in the middle of me asking a question. Yet, the app still seems to know who I am based off me putting the Alt ID in at check out, but won't let me register the account in the app? The UI makes the app feel cumbersome to use, at best.
What is going on with this app? I've used it for years, but recently it prompts me to login (even though my creditentials were saved), and it won't email me a password reset. Yes, I checked my spam folder. Fix it, devs. I'm shopping elsewhere!
Trying to get some digital savings but the card i was given isnt working so it makes me use my phone number as an alt ID. Created an account but wont let me login because an error with the authentication server.. very frustrating.
Difficult to use, not intuitive interface either. Had an rough time getting digital coupons to work at the store. Very frustrating.
Kroger Pay has too many "Experiencing technical difficulties, try later" episodes. The self service checkout scanners cannot easily scan the Kroger Pay QR code - it takes over 10 tries before the scan takes.

pros and cons: I've been doing the order online and pick up in the parking lot option. once I get there to pick up my order, the staff is extremely helpful and everything goes great! I do not find the online interface terribly efficient though. I often have to backtrack and change screens to complete my order, and unless I'm very careful about letting them know that I don't want substitutes,I might get some random substitute that is not okay with me. but all in all I enjoy using this option!
Everyone is kind and always willmg to help me with my limited eyesight.
When you clicking on a coupon it takes forever for it to register and when you update it always before Wednesday when the new discounts come out the app never works there's always technical difficulties with your app try spending some money on the company you paid update your app you charge more then Safeway and Safeway always have more quality food than you always have to call because the food I do get from there it's far from quality always dented or out of stock when it comes on sale
App works okay, but requires some serious investment in terms of user experience, usability and engineering. 1. Startup time is way too long. 2. Unable to dismiss irrelevant news messages which takes up too much space. Plus, don't use a caroussel. 3. Too many different layouts for list views with overlapping functionality. 4. Too many sticky footers with overlapping functionality.
Love this app very helpful,the only bad side,once in awhile some products are not in stock,but 99% of the time you get everything you order. Delivery drivers are always nice and helpful, haven't had a bad experience in using this service in over a year, definitely recommend it if your busy,don't own vehicle,or you don't live near a grocery stores,which all three apply to me lol,all in all,I recommend it.
Being able to make shopping lists broken down by aisle makes shopping waaaaay easier. The pick up order system is pretty slick and super convenient too. only complaint: The grocery item search sometimes feels a little too picky. Being able to search without worrying about term order or using synonyms would be a huge improvement. Edit June 2021: The search function is a lot better! Still no google, but who is. I gave Safeway's app a shot and struggled to find a single item on my list. Kudos!
really great app! You can add your cards on there and use kroger pay for easier check out! Also if you can't find an item you're looking for, you can search it up in the app, pick your store, and it will tell you which aisle to go to! Honestly makes shopping so much easier! AND if you are in store shopping, you can scan your items to see if they have any digital coupons!
The list is very annoying now. It doesn't show how many are in your cart. When click the check box for an item in the list it 'disappears' into a second list which you then have to click Add To Cart. Then the item shows back up in your list with no indication it's also in your cart. Infuriating experience, enough to switch to Safeway app for now.
It's been such a time saver for me! Rarely have I received a piece of produce that needn't meet my standards.
Would be better if you could remove or filter out the offers "with pick up only." I shop at the store, and it's annoying to add a coupon only to realize I can't use it. There are so many other filters, which I like, why not this too? I thought that the Clicklist Digital Offers filter would do this. Not so much. Filters are a bust overall.
Safeway lost my business due to a bad experience at a store, so QFC is getting my business now. Unfortunately, QFC's app in my opinion isn't so user friendly. Very complicated with too many options(reminds of a Ford with all the options on it's very own button, who has time to look for a button while driving). I'm s pretty fast learner and I'm not used to it yet. It makes me feel like I'm missing out on savings. Fix it fast or I'm willing to try Amazon Fresh!
fast, works well, MUCH faster than website. Very ready to clip and use digital coupons.
This app is a total waste. Haven't been able to access the coupons in months and months due to "technical difficulties".
App won't link to my existing QFC account but also won't allow me to create a new account because my phone number is associated with an old account. The emails to change a password don't work and the app will freeze if it fails to connect accounts. Long story short, the app is full of bugs and won't let me access any deals. Totally unusable.
Most recent update has ruined functionality for coupons. Filters don't work, entries appear and disappear, many coupons unaccessible. Just added 30 coupons, now less than 10 visible. Resetting/changing filters has no positive effect. Fliers no longer load without manually refreshing, then still disappear. Updating account info doesn't work. Etc etc..
Have fun manually downloading every single coupon you want to use. You can't just buy the items for the advertised price in the store. It's also a 50/50 chance the app will even work. I downloaded 4 coupons before the shop crashed and never recovered. Not worth the hassle. I'll just shop at Safeway
Fine for creating a shopping list, nightmare for delivery. Can't move items easily from in store to delivery.
App seems to choke on updating pickup or delivery orders, and suddenly loses pickup slot reservations. Also inventory while shopping doesn't match availability, so you could shop and when checking out suddenly discover you can't get the item. If it isn't available, the app should say so before you go to all the trouble of checking out. Thdn you can do a substitution.
Kroger's pay add card doesn't work. No matter how many times I try it just hangs at "one moment" screen. Used to work fine before
App does a decent job of steering you towards savings, and helping you find things in the store. It's a little annoying that it often checks for updates to my grocery list at inconvenient times, and will hide the list while it's updating, leaving me waiting at the entrance to the store until the update completes. My pet peeve is that if you have a digital coupon already clipped in-app, it expires based on your local timezone, but you won't be allowed to clip a coupon if it's expired in EST.
