This is a direct port of the desktop application of QGIS. As such it is only slightly optimized for usage on portable devices and the user interface in many places requires polishing.

I would rate 5 stars if i can minimize the window when browseng .can file (add delimited text layer button).. I can't press ok bcoz the window is so big..

This app is immensely useful and integral to field work that I perform in rugged environments without access to cell coverage for mapping and navigation purposes. However, inconsistent rendering of the UI has now made it unusable on a Samsung tablet running 4.4.2 in order to maintain OS compatibility. App menus (Project, View, etc) are positioned within the top bar of the Android interface making these menus unable to be activated. Prior versions maintained a frame around the app with a very helpful menu system attached to the three dot options action. This was far superior to the current setup and would be a welcome return as the app is now relatively unusable on this particular device.

Fills the void, literally. Powerful app thanks. Will probably use Qfield more in the field when it has full feature adding. One day doing all gis work on a big tablet with a mouse and keyboard sounds very appealing...wont need the laptop anymore!!????
