QLIXAR News

While I appreciate the service. I can not download the app. And they keep saying I need to reverify my account. I have done this through the phone and email. l never got a confirmation yes or no that it worked. The internet on my phone only works for a few minutes and shuts off. I have talked to tech multiple times and no help. Also after a few months my phone started having problems. One issue is that when you hold it to your head, it does fuctions that you never told it to do.

I'd rather stay neutral at this time although this app has been downloaded for some time, it's just that when I download any recommendations that are advertised, my cell does not have enough storage to even allow text messages to be sent/received. This has actually caused me to restore back to factory settings. What I have chosen to do, is actually try the program one more time before removing it from my cell. I promise to keep an open mind and re-evaluate at a later time.

2nd rvw 1/9/22 After doing what developer said this app and qlixar rewards won't stay disabled. Every time I turn my phone on or the battery dies it's locked my phone and reinstalled itself back. Horrible experience. I have had to disable app each time my screen goes dark! I don't need a lock screen. The app resets itself everytime I put my phone down or use it to place a call. I just want to deactivate and keep it that way, since removing the Qlixar apps are not allowed.

This was preinstalled on my Qlink phone. As a rule, I don't like apps controlling my lock screen. I've revoked all permissions for the app, and it still takes over my lock screen - it acts like malware, but the AVG software I installed can't shut it off. I need the free phone but, I don't need the junk apps installed on it. I removed as many as I could. This one is a big battery hog, and I get messages that my phone won't work if I uninstall it - not happy. 😓 UPDATE: Dev fix did NOT work. 🤪

I did as you suggested and this app still takes over my lock screen and reenables itself. No matter what I do! I have gone to the app settings and phone settings to disable and turn off notifications as well as disabling the app all together and yet EVERY TIME my phone is turned off or dies this app has taken over my lock screen again! I want to be able to uninstall it!! I did that several times it never stayed deactivated. The app still reenableed itself! I had to stop using the phone

I just want to uninstall this, but am not allowed. It displays on top of all other apps, even after selecting do not display over other apps, and continues to connect to a news service I revoked permission to connect to. I have to disable and force stop before I can do anything else on the phone. So annoying!

QLIXAR News, as well as QLIXAR Rewards comes already installed on Qlink device(s) with no option to uninstall, alas a waste of memory. Also, it runs at startup, requiring screen to be unlocked before placing a call, def could be an issue if one needs to quickly access cell for E-911 services. QLIXAR is an invasive app(s) that I will never use. One should have the choice of whether to have this on their device, giving 1 star rating to post this review.

Bloat ware. Recommended by service provider, as a way to 'earn' data. It's extortionate malware. Leaches battery. ALSO sucks RAM. Slows down the CPU so the phone becomes nearly useless. Before, I could have a browser, a game, and email open and still get an incoming phone call. After installing, if a phone call/txt comes in while I'm playing a game, the game crashes, even nothing else opened. Provides no benefit. I'm glad I could remove it. Your helpful guide is useless.

I keep getting a message suggesting to uninstall the app because its not functioning right in the first place but I cant cause it's built-in to the phone. So I changed notifications, defaults and permissions. If try to force stop it or disable it I get a message saying that it may misbehave or my phone might miss behave. IDK what else to do. Minor bug fix? Smh Major bug fix!

This is the best lifeline program that I've been involved in, not only do they have really cool games and apps through the Qlixar app, but they give me 100 extra free minutes all the time. Other Lifeline programs you only get 250 or 350 a month with unlimited texting. This plan gives 1000 minutes, unlimited texting and also a data plan. You guys are doing a great needed service for people who aren't able to get a phone or plan by themselves. You don't what this means for me, Thank you for this.

Doesn't accept news filters, auto enables after being turned off, adds unessicary, additional steps to unlock screen- often lagging the unlock to the point of putting the phone back to sleep.. and recently, it's reinstalled itself. I don't appreciate it trying to force itself on me. It basically feels like a virus.

Garbage that is a waste of time and hard usage of you phone...

Most of the surveys suck or don't work so it wastes your time. The rewards are so far outta reach, it's basically not worth it. The worst part about it is when you do a survey and put in your phone number or email address, almost instantly the tella marketers are calling or emailing and not even associated with the survey you just did. Make me want it! Lower the cost of the rewards, and make the rewards worth the effort and better.

Qlixar is annoying; half the time it doesn't work and if it does, while your trying to earn credits, it burns every bit of data you gained just before. And if you are using an obama phone concurrent with the app you never have service and the phones are so junky they corrupt your sd cards theres no storage space whatsoever and the app makes your phone freeze up or malfunction to where your factory resetting it twice a week.

Edit: Okay, that seems to have stopped the app from coming back. It's the QLIXAR News icon on the extra screen when swiping up from the home screen. Once the app opens, select Lock screen, and there is a simple on/off button. Turn it off, hit OK. The green check mark you are referring to is in Settings for the phone. Settings, Apps, find/open QLIXAR News, then Notifications, uncheck the green check mark. I don't think this alone will stop the app from returning however; use first method above.

This app is terrible, it messes your phone up. I keep having to disable it because it automatically re-enables itself and I have to force stop it or it won't stop working at all and it messes everything up freezes it up everything. It also puts a slide bar lock on it so that you have to slide every time you try to get your phone and then do the manual slide to get into the menu.

Came with my phone and unable to uninstall. It slows down my phone a lot because it opens as soon as I turn on my phone and it has ads. it also replaces the usual Android unlock screen. But it doesn't have a ICE button (in case of emergency information). Which mean if you have an emergency, and people need to know your information, they can't find it unless they unlock your phone. It also won't let you make an emergency call until you unlock your phone. It is impossible to disable it.

I receive text messages stating I can earn a certain amount of data, after clicking on the attached link and downloading the app, which is already downloaded to my phone, but no data is ever added to my account. Half the time the app is not responding and when I attempt to earn data, I am told in the middle of a survey.i am not eligible or there are no surveys available at the time. The app is always running in my background, so it is constantly eating up my battery.

Qqlixar has very interesting stotyline news from all over. I find the storylwines on certain people and events informative and moving. I also enjoy the aspect of how it touches me mentally and emotionally. What I don't enjoy much less understand is why I have to use my pattern code to even get in. Don't know how many times I've missed a call because of that also. Just saying.

Qlixar has too much data. It stops my massages from appearing when I get a message. It takes a long time to go from one transition to another. It totally slows down the cell phone activity. Every day, I have to disable it when I turn my phone on, in order to use my phone on a normal way.

App doesnt even work at ALL ive downloaded it on different devices and still won't work. This app is supposed to help people with extra data an extra things each month with the free government phone. If you're supposed to be working with the government I would assume your app would work at least a little bit. My question is now if there's another app that's associated with getting data on my free government phone? If anything please help me fix this issue so I may use for extra data monthly.

Want it off my phone. Battery drainer. *response I am aware of how to disable your app. I have done so ready. That does not change the fact that I would like to be able to remove it from my phone. Dont take it personally. I dislike all of the bloatware BS y'all put on phones these days that limit users internal memory & require us to agree to a sorts of ridiculous things such as location tracking & voice recordings being fed to algorithms.

If I could rate this zero, I would. It auto boots every time I restart the phone. it bogs down the device and it a MAJOR pain. I have to constantly disable the app. Worse, I cannot even uninstall the program. It is a imbedded program. Sucks

Wonderful and Thank you for the update and free data. This Qlixar is really starting to interfere when I am trying to just use my phone. I have disabled it so many times and would like for you to take it off of my screen. In case of emergency, it is a hazard and I am a senior citizen and handicap. Please DISABLE THIS SO that it will not cause me harm when I need help. Totally inconvenience.

This app is like all the other News applications. It's preloaded on my zte phone so I can't delete it. This sucks since its a waste of internal space along with draining my battery that could be used for the apps I enjoy. That's why I disabled it and gave it only one star. News is News, the good, the bad and the depressing which some days I just don't want to see or read every time I turn on my phone.

This is the most disruptive app I have ever seen. Uninstall updates as soon as you turn on your phone in playstore and then force stop using the three dots in the top of the memory category. In apps under this apps names in settings. Then disable it in the main page. Then clear the cache and data in storage. Then never update again. You'll like me for it. Tim S

Qlixar is in the way of important stuff and my government phone is a nightmare already. So I don't use my phone for anything but texting and calls, when it even will do those things. It may not irritate me so if it was simply there when I wanted it, instead of it being the first thing that pops up. Thank you.

So very glad I seemed to have dodged a bullet as I was waiting for my extremely slow phone to download this app it gave me time to read the reviews and found the troubles people talked about and not being able to uninstall so I was luckily able to hit cancel. I think this might be the first and only time I'm glad to have such slow data.

Would be great if you could axtually update these phones...smh... it's a zte sapphire, i think. When I update it tells me that I have to remove something. Too many programs. I have disabled almost everything on this phone. And I have not added anything except a128 gig card that this pos doesnt recognize. I am sooo frustrated. Yes, I already tried that. What I am left with, I can only disable or force stop. No option to uninstall. Like I said it is a pos phone.

what's to say great phone amazing service and there are so many different apps. Just browsing and you will find a whole assortment of apps. i pay for upgrade at 10 dollars a month of course calls texting and a 1000 thousand minutes every month are totally free. i play games so that extra Gig allows me to play all month. to wrap it up in one word I'd say AMAZING.
