This is one of the apps where you ask yourself if the developer is actively using the application for him or herself. First, the system keyboard gets used. So no shortcuts to certain symbols like () or []. Zero. The keyboard also assumes that you start a new line like in a text document. It starts with a capital letter. This means, you have to double press shift in every single line, before you can type anything. Syntax highlighting only after you save the file as .lua In an lua editor.
This app is awesome, but it has few issues, 1) it will be great to autosave, when clicking run, 2) the console is hard to work with, 3) instead of the small arrow in file browser, add file named .. as in total comander, ... 4) allow to zoom out the code. But, great work 😎.
Many bugs unfortunately. Shutup.lua doesn't work anymore. Running the hello user script and then trying to run any other script still runs the hello user script.
Could not save new file. Could not change default dir, need good browser. Action bar should go to top.
The app is OK, but it takes up a lot of battery. The battery on 100% drains in 15 minutes. Otherwise good engine.
Honestly not bad It can write smooth code and I like how big the output screen is, but it has a problem with 0 that makes the code unfunctionable
Can't run examples nor luarocks: modules not found. can't save file or create directory: file does not exist and does not load the folder to save so I can't do anything with this app.
Note:For the new users,You need to go in Setting first and enable Files permission for the app to make it run perfectly. When I enabled it i was able to make script. And for me this is the best app for making a script.
This app is required to have an editor reset option as accidentally loading a file larger than 1MB causes the editor to hardlock, making the app useless in that regard.
Doesn't have the text colors for different function, print etc
Why does it need to use my phone. SMS, files, and lots of other things just for CODING.
Amazing application, works fine on most my devices, as do all Q apps. All I want to know is why it's actually Lua 5.2.4 and if I am able to change that to Lua 5.1. Thank you :)
The file of my script in gg had gone and the Lua is always error! What kinda lua is this? Freak Fix the app I like it by the way but check up need update 👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆
The apo keeps kicking me out of it whenever i use it once its notworking properly you need to fix that
cant even run print("hello world") says needs ro be lua html or something like that cannot open files. so excited now 📉ðŸ˜
The best free coding app for beginners in android
couldn't save a file keep discarding
I can't save and open files.
Thought this was supposed to open files that are lua. Yeah dont download if your looking for that
those people cant deal with it, means theyre bad. great app👌
I was trying to do a script. But i CAN'T MAKE A NAME FOR A FILE WHAT THE HECK 0 STARS
Not working properly
My only problem is i want to learn lua better.
This has been taking to long to down load
Python syntax highlighting
Very bad I can't ever run what I typed
Haven't tried it yet but I will edit after.
It's not awful, but it has some pretty serious unaddressed issues. You have to name the extension .lua or the file won't run and just seems to disappear, the file browser is messy, files need to be saved before executed, exiting scripts takes too many button presses, changing apps without exiting the script leaves a persistent notification, syntax highlighting isn't very good, etc.
