Not exceptional, but it gets the job done and is straightforward. SSL doesn't work correctly like it does in their other apps (Qfile, Qget, etc). I appreciate the passcode lock feature and push notifications!

This is called bad U.X design. You install the app and run it. A welcome full screen slider comes up and you slide to the end and realized that they forgot put a close button or finish button. Now your stuck and the app becomes useless.

Very useful app. But it is slow, or its communication with NAS is slow, and the UI is stuck when the app communicates with NAS and that is pretty annoying, especially when you click on something you didn't want to and cannot change it. Please make the app quicker.

Better than Synology. UI good. Could be slow in some areas. I'd suggest to postpone PIN unlock for a minutes otherwise it's asking for code nonstop.

Overall it works well. My only criticism so far is that the list of background tasks doesn't refresh, it adds new entries for updated tasks (i.e. if creating thumbnails, it lists one task for X amount, then another task for X -1, and so on) so the list keeps growing even if the number of tasks isn't.

Connects maybe 30% of the time. Useless 70% of the time.

After update, it tells me to login in again, but it doesn't accept my password.

Contrary to what some reviewers report Qnap regularly updates it's apps. One guy even criticised the fact that the design of Qmanager has remained largely unchanged. IMO this is to be applauded, there is no reason to change a design just for the sake of it and in this case the opening screen is simple and functional. True, there are issues that do need addressing but in my experience QNAP are always quick to respond to emails although it is probably best to build up pressure on the forum.

Updating my complaint to say it works fine now. A day after leaving it, I reinstalled the qnap apps and they suddenly worked. Was good but seems to now require a qnap cloud id which I don't have and don't really want. Seems an additional security risk is I'm only connecting from my home network.

It manages nothing. You can't install or use apps and you can't do 99% of the stuff you could with the web interface ... which does not work on mobile beacause of poor choice of technology.

Great app however one problem. The list of servers keeps changing order after a server is accessed. Wish there was an option to set an order and keep it.

I manage 4 QNAP NAS devices with this app, 1 locally and 3 remotely. Once the original first web page setup is completed, most things can be done with the app. It does everything I need without any problems.

Utter rubbish. Used to be pathetic, taking 15 mind to receive text info on song list. Now it just refuses to connect even with all settings correct. Error info non-existent. Help files useless. Website info useless. Best avoiding Qnap altogether, most of the software is written by school kids I think.

unable to connect.Followed the instructions to the letter but won't connect.Can connect via desktop web via mycloud but neither this nor Qfile will connect from Android. Update. 2 years on and still unable to connect. What is it so difficult? I also have a Synology NAs that connects first time.

Outstanding Application. Fits brilliantly along site of the full list of matching applications for viewing and managing all files and folders. Excellent

I have device IP lockout after wrong password set quite aggresively. Saved my arse to reset IP block for laptop countless times when I've forgotten caps lock on my PC. Handy to do upgrades etc without needing to turn on PC too

🟥 admin need to know what background task going on under background task (for all the users background activity's view from admin). 🟥Massive 5 second delay to load up once log in. 🟥 background activity tiny graph ppl don't feel comfortable .make it by text or linesif there is background cut n paste going on by all the users (admin view)as I mentioned on step 1. 🟥 Admin don't need to see what the users doing but at least some sort of real-time indicator that how many users are logged in now.

Like the app but will future updates provide the ability to connect/disconnect qvpn open VPN client connections (from the NAS to open VPN servers)? And also better visibility of the network and virtual switch config.

When to expect black theme for the app? Nowadays almost every app has a black theme. Otherwise, the app works fine for me. Thanks!

Looks nice but incredibly slow to pull data. Just use the browser and you will be better off.

Superb app. I've been using the app for years. It provides plenty of functionality and realtime status info for my needs.

Excellent app to manage my NAS. Has all the settings and functions I need to manage my NAS, without having to login via a browser.

Its qnap..and a manager, really like the 'Reboot NAS'fx. Of course! Ya have to be online, though. Thanks again QNAP for another functional app!

No more usable. Waiting 10 min on the same Lan and still not fully connected/synchronized. Please FIX it.

Useful but outdated and EXTREMELY SLOW. Plus push notifications doesn't work at all.

A lot slower than the web version, takes forever to load on LAN or over the Internet.

Ok, good control but can be better

Love love my Qnap and when it's needed the support the company provides when help is needed, really makes a huge difference in selecting brands.
