Qnotes3

This app has, in theory, everything you would need. It was designed well in terms of features. Unfortunately the features rarely work right. It crashes often and has major connection issues when you try to do anything with it. Utter disappointment. I'm specifically looking for a private, collaborative note system for my private NAS. What a shame this doesn't work.

The new Notes Station and this Qnotes3 has come a long way and it looks good enough for me to start switching away from Evernote. I'd like to see Qnotes3 have the option to show the most recent notes on the first screen to make it more efficient. Also, the app stays on the "Loading..." screen too long while it syncs to note station, it should let user make a new note as quickly as possible even before sync finish. In summary, the two metric that Qnotes3 needs to measure is: How quickly can I read my last note?; and How quickly can I start a new note?

Need redesign, big empty screen without information after login is nothing, what is expected for fast and optimal UX. Needed last notes to be visible on home screen and fast access to them, without searching them in branchy tree. Notes sorting (possibility to view last first), faster app opening without waiting to connect, and more friendly UI. Learn from Google Keep, fast start, last notes is displayed immediately in second. Update: crashing and lost some notes, when edited note offline :(

Frustrating! Constantly either creates duplicate notes when I'm the only person editing the notes, or if you set it to 'carry on syncing' then changes you make seem to just get lost intermittently! Spent 20 minutes editing a note that afterwards, all my changes were just dumped without warning! Also getting 'unknown error occured' then thrown out of editing randomly. This is whilst having a good 4g connection.

I am looking for something to easily make a shopping list, but when you want to check something off, you need to edit the file instead of just viewing it and tapping to check it. Maybe I missed something, but not that great of an app, especially when the NAS can do everything else except install a kitchen sink

The two good thing about this app is the note structure and formatting. That's it. Cannot seem to sort notebooks or notes, quite lag in refresh speed even though within 1Gbps LAN, no keyboard shortcuts in web interface.

This app is a long way from what is supposed to be . Absolutely unreliable. Crashes every time . Auto reconnect no way. Too bad , because it has great potential

This app is a disaster. I updated my notes just to find out that they weren't saved on the server and only random changes were updated. Complete waste of time

The Dec 2020 update messed up. The app keeps saying Notes station 3 on NAS is not compatible and lets me upgrade. The thing is it's actually already on the latest version! I can't use the app now.

After long time good update of application. Now we can upload photo or share web page to Note. Please fix, can not create task. If try to create taskaoplicaion force close every time.

Nice app but why on earth would they remove the checkbox facility that was on the previous version? Checkboxes please!! Can we havea Caldav link rather than Google cals as well?

Can't really use it on my Xiaomi as it keeps crashing. Hope one day this can replace Evernote but doesn't look like any time soon.

Would be a lot more useful if there is a HD version for tablets in landscape mode.

Doesn't work after last update - "is not compatible with the version of Qnotes on this device..." Updating isn't working

Please add insert link to app. It is basically useless for us without ability to insert website links in notes

Unstable. Constantly looses connection to nas. No substitute for one note.

Cannot connect... same issue as a lot of other people it seems.

Great app to store and sync your notes with the Qnap nas.

That is ok , but no best.

The check boxes are visible in thr online interface of qnotes 3, but invisible on the mobile. This is a bug you should fix. Thank you.

It is not working with 2 factor authentication which is just silly and I will not disable that in order to use this. Edit: 2FA works since last update.

Too simple, I expected more in R3. At least add checkboxes please.

Fails to sync on any Android device, even when on local network. iPad version is sticky and crashes but this is unusable.
