Qobuz Music

Would you consider adding a "customized" classification criteria for albums like we have for playlists ? The "By artists" option is perfect for pop music, but not for classical, when the composer matters a lot... If not, "By composer" (By first composer appearing in the album) or something like this would be very interesting to have ! Thank you.

Pretty good but UX problems that will prevent this version of the app to be a leader. App seems having problem with playing queue. Every time I start the app, the old very first playing queue appears again. Playing history does not seem to be available. I must have though. A bit more effort would be worth.

Sound quality is excellent and the classical collection pretty comprehensive. There are weaknesses, however. While searching your favourites by genre you will often find the results being mixed up. Rock albums when you're searching classical for instance. The UI is okay but not as flexible as Spotify. I'm dropping Spotify for the sound quality.

Qobuz is a great music streaming provider. But the android application is bad. Its an heavy application that require too much ressources. Not user friendly at all. (Try to look for new album of an artist ? Nahh you will get all the releases in a mess and cannot distinguish Single release from Album). Try to replay an old playlist from history ? Not possible, you will have only a single song in your current playlist. Try to share your current playlist to UPNP ? No way..

The sound quality of the songs is just perfect, immersive audio as it should be. But the app still needs a lot of optimization, the loading time to open playlists, add songs and navigating the interface is simply frustrating, it needs improvement in this aspect, as for the catalog, I hope it grows quickly because there are still many songs that I can't find that are available on all other platforms, but overall the service is great, I'll be rooting for the evolution of Qobuz 🖤

I thought the UI could be better. I don't want the streaming subscription but want to play the music I've purchased from Qobuz. Which I can do but the giant ad is right the and again the UI is not well thought out. Also when you download a booklet it doesn't open. You have to go find it. Hate to criticize cause I really appreciate the ability to download hi-res music.

This should be a four star review. I should only be telling you that the quality of the music is exceptional (because it is), and that I hope to see more releases and a more user friendly help section. Unfortunately, what lowers this rating is the unreliability of the streaming off of Wi-Fi, at least for me. I sincerely hope that this issue improves. What keeps me coming back is the great quality of the music. Keep that up!

App still needs some work as it has loading issues(even with fast internet), playback issues(songs will randomly not play and will give error messages), organization issues(can't find bands or albums even though they're in their catologue). Other than the previous, the sound quality of even cd quality sound is better than any streaming service I've yet to use. While the hi res exposes things I've yet to hear in things I've listened to most of my life.

The high fidelity music on Qobuz makes Amazon Music HD sound like trash in comparison. Wow. I had no idea what I was missing. Only downside is Qobuz doesn't have a built-in equalizer. This can easily be fixed by installing a good equalizer app though. It may even be preferable to do it this way.

It works ok. Not so advanced as other music apps, such as Spot_fy. Sound quality is really superior to the Spot one. But the price is higher too. Their interface won't allow me to play music on my pc at home, and control it using my phone app. Rather inconvenient, but not the end of the world. Haven't needed customer service yet, but I hear it's very poor! I also wish they had the option to create folders in my playlists. It would make sorting and keeping similar playlists together.

Good music selection. Love the HiRes lossless audio options. However, the classical music experience in playlists and queue is very bad - the title doesn't show the work, only the movement! Symphony No. 4? 9? Piano Concerto? Who knows! I want the hifi features for classical music, but the UI makes the app useless for it. Chromecast with Google TV would time out while listening mid-song.

Very weak smart features. The ability to seed streaming channels with favorites and have streaming apps learn preferences and introduce new music is a very popular feature in streaming audio. The ability to do this here is very rudimentary and can only act to play some additional songs after a custom Playlist has been built manually. Worst of all no way to ban an artist or song from continuing to pop up. Shame because quality and library size are quite good.

This review is more about the app itself than the service. The app was working fine, however it could not load searches. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app, in hopes that this would fix the issue. I attempted to log in but to no avail. I reset my password thinking perhaps I had forgotten it. Reset my password and I still cannot sign in :// it has essentially been unusable.

downloads could be faster. other than that the app works pretty well so far! Edit: the app really doesn't like playing from downloaded music rather than streaming. If you download a playlist, then change streaming to deactivated and attempt to play the playlist it will just hang for several minutes in silence.

I am really liking Qobus so far as a streeming service, audio quality is exceptional, but i have found a few arbitrary omissions from the music catalogue, e.g. one of an artists albums missing when the rest are present. The App is acceptable but compared to the competition it needs improvement, it's not the most intuitive.

Great sound quality but personal customization or auto customization not as good as Spotify. Some difficulty in searching for artists, which may be due to a smaller library? Overall, its a good application - just not as good compared to Spotify in terms of user interface or intuitive navigation.

the only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is offline is defaulting to CD quality and I can't figure out if that can be changed. easily my favorite streaming service audio quality wise, I just hope the library for certain musicians can be expanded like some of the other major platforms.

Of the few lossless CD-quality (& 'Hi-Res') music streaming services. A DEALBREAKER is that, UNLIKE TIDAL & AMAZON MUSIC, Qobuz has no optional free limited plan, which is crucial to have as a foundation for the app to remain usable at all times, also if needing to temporarily pause a paid subscription. Pausing a payment, it becomes unusable (30sec samples), with past time spent using it, including all customizations & accumulated past usage-based personalization data, feeling wasted in vain.

Purchased several albums over the last few months, all seemed to go well. 2 weeks ago the ability to buy anything from the app and download stopped which is very annoying. If I'm spending money why do I now have to go to the website download store? Definitely cuts down on impulse purchases.
