Unable to export 360 images with its metadata !! When I export or share 360 image to Gallery, it doesn't play images in 360 sphere. Same thing in previous version is perfect. Don't tell that use different gallery app because I tried many of them & previous old images are working fine but captured by this app is not working !
The newest version won't save videos anymore! Everytime you export a video it results in a corrupted file. Please fix this as my camera is basically useless now.
Amazing support! i had problems with firmware update with the app. so i got instant help from the support and now have the newest firmware running! thanks a lot! the cam got better with this.
Switching between shooting mode is sluggish. The sequence of shooting modes is also not ideal. I suggest to rearrange the sequence as Super HDR, DNG8, Photo, Time lapse, Video, Super Vlog, Live. Probably, Super HDR is the most powerful function of QooCam 8K thus it is also reasonable to set Super HDR as the default shooting mode.
I was having trouble connecting to the camera, but I finally found instructions on the Kandao website to tweak some settings. Would be nice if they were in-app. Otherwise, great app. It's an awesome tool, and the app has advanced very quickly and well
The early release did not work well. I switched to an old Apple phone to utilize. Update August 2020....much better now. For the last three month the Android app has worked very well. The wireless link is touch and go but that may be equally the fault of the phone. Using USB C to C is now seamless.
Stay away from this product. Probably too late if you are here though. Most buggy app. Roughly 1/4 of the features actually work. Update made it wayyyyy worse
It's a pretty good app even though it has alot self promotion in it for me to take it seriously. As an example, it won't work on Android tablets(the ones I use at least). I haven't tried my Ipad yet but at this stage (you have multiple cams with multiple apps) it should be a given for android tablet support.
This software is just as amazing as the camera itself. Powerful, easy to use editor at your fingertips. Create and edit 3D, 360 and 4K videos anywhere! Built in sharing options for all of the popular social media platforms too. Get the camera and grab this app.
Just like camera this app is made by monkeys , camera is not bad but terrible with various issues making unusable and complete the package this app doesn't do anything , tried on note 10 , huawei mate 20 pro , never completes exporting video , crashes on startup and if you get chances then still no final video . Maybe 8k but unusable and my InstaOne360x rocks ! This is pile of total rubbish
Cannot delete older imported images, it suggests a new update but it isn't available on play store. Had to uninstall the app, reinstall app then it requests update. Be warned you will lose your album's contents. Back them up first.
Great that there are constant updates. I just started with DNG8 shots and immediately hoped for a mode where exposure bracketing was available too, please add when possible.
Junk. No apparent way to create a DNG8 -8 Raw frames (+jpg). Customer Disservice incapable of grasping the simple concept that my camera grabs 2 Frames and calls it good. The menu should read DNG8 +jpg. Reads only Dng8..gives only two frames.Not a good company. Completely dissatisfied with this company. I've shot everything from Arriflex to Panavision..Hycam to Hulcher. So now I'll make a an illustrative video of the problem and probably get "Gee we dunno..never seen that before.." Yeah...
the company is ruining its reputation in North American market by not attending to this app and fixing some basic functionality such as exporting video without cutting off sound. other issues OTG connection no longer works on Android phones. please spend $5,000 hire a technical writer to have proper user manual. there's zero information online about anything.
Even after multiple updates, the qoocam still has a hard time connecting to the app. Granted! It has SLIGHTLY improved from earlier updates.... Otherwise features in updates are greatly welcomed!
App is ok but can't export any video, app crashes each time I try. Running it on a Samsung Tab S2 tablet, android 7.
Really good for photos, but does not save my movie edits on my Samsung S6. I need to use other software to produce movies from my 360 captures...
When I finally got the 360 videos to work it was 8k the audio was just taking the app force closes everytime I click on the 4K footage.
Can not view anything in VR. Worked about 8 months ago on samsung s10 plus but downloaded on s21 ultra and option is no longer there. Any recommendations???
Qoocam 8K won't connect via wifi to Google Pixel 4 xl. Will connect via cord, but that wrecks the purpose of trying to take a picture from a distance
Won't connect to QooCam 8K via WiFi. Cable connection fails as well. I think I just wasted $600US.
Live streaming 100% does not work for 4K. Live streaming to Facebook or Google will not work. You have been promising livestream since the kickstarter.

I'm really struggling getting the qoocam 8k 360 to go live to youtube from Samsung Galaxy S9 or Samsung Galaxy Note 9 I meet all requirements for YouTube I go live from phone and computer every day but cannot get qoocam to connect PLEASE HELP

Very disappointed that live stream does not work. I will have to return camera if I have to refund my wedding clients cause I can't live stream their wedding in 4 days.

The app worked fine for me until update 4.2.2. But now when I try to save my photos & videos, it just creates an empty folder with the name that the file should have had, including the .jpg or .mp4 suffix. So now I can only use the desktop version, which in some ways is more limited. Hope they fix it soon. Incidentally I'd like to be able to switch off the black vignette that is put around the edge of the exports. I used to be able to but the option seems to have been removed.
