QRentry

With the advent of mobile devices, our work habits have changed.
Indeed, more and more enterprise applications must be accessed through mobile platforms.
Users want to access their workstations easily without having to remember several different passwords.

To help them access easily their workstation(s) and enterprise applications, Evidian has created an application for mobile devices: QRentry.

QRentry enables you to access your applications with your mobile device. Your applications are launched in an integrated web browser without having to sign-in.

QRentry allows you to use your own mobile device to log on to Windows:

* Nothing to memorize. Just flash the QR Code and QRentry will authenticate you through the network.
* You have several workstations and do not want to enter a password for each of them. QRentry enables you to control your workstations and open their Windows sessions.

QRentry allows you to use your own mobile device to log on to Windows until normal access is restored. In this case, QRentry is an emergency access solution extremely easy to implement and very efficient:

* Nothing to memorize. QRentry will provide you with a one-time code.
* Your workstation is disconnected from the network? Your mobile device does not get a signal? QRentry works anyway.

You can also use QRentry to store personal data: Wi-Fi keys, license number, private passwords... QRentry securely stores them in your own mobile device.

QRentry only works with Evidian Authentication Manager and Evidian SSO Web Portal. Please, don't install or post a comment about this application if you don't have one of these products installed.

Does it's job, but in a quite annoying, not user friendly way. First of all, 99.9% of the time a user would like to use the scan option, since the app is used 15+ times per day to log in to a system, but you only add a new device once. Why doesn't the scan option open automatically? There could be also a widget shortcut or long-press option. Turning the screen from portrait to landscape for scanning? I hate it! It takes unnecessary time, especially on typically slow company phones.

The App isn't bad, it works most of the time. But on occasions it will go belly up on you and your company IT won't have a clue how to fix it. So if you had an issue like mine, where it quit working and hung up on the pin portion and didn't do anything here is the solution I found. You need to go to the app and tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner, select other settings, then display users keys. click the garbage can in the right corner and accept. This will wipe out the bad key or keys. Then you will have to hop back on to your computer once you unlock it and re-enroll your mobile device again. Once you do that, it should be good to go. Don't know why this happened on my Samsung Note 9 but it worked, I hope this helps others when their IT department doesn't have a clue about why the app isn't working.

Allows you to login, yes, but the layout is annoyingly fixed at the top of the screen so for larger phones or smaller hands you have to use two hands to reach, or adjust your grip. Also I have to scan a code twice for some reason. After the first scan the screen flashes black, then the camera preview opens up again to scan the code again. Not a nice app the use.

Used to work but like many have said here it randomly decides to no longer take pin numbers and gets stuck. You can delete your user key and re-enroll but that kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it? It seems to not work well with Galaxy phones according to other reviews on here. Very poorly designed app that needs to actually work consistently. I'd be disappointed in myself if I released a product like this out into the market place.

App randomly decides to no longer accept pin. After inputting pin and clicking the okay button the app just spins instead of presenting the code. Have to delete key and reset up. Resetting up requires me to go into the office (company thing, not issue with this app). Not at all convenient and defeats the purpose on why I use this app.

My work requires me to use this app to log into my work terminal. It might work the first two times but the app is so inconsistent and requires an admin to reset the connection a bunch of times before it'll even work, and eventually the user just falls off and requires more administrative action. Highly don't recommend

App can be a real pain when scanning qr code. On the s21, the all doesn't auto focus the camera well and there is no way to manually focus it using the app, so I will often have to try to restart the app half a dozen time still the camera can actually read the qr code

This app was working great until last night. After entering my PIN, tapping the 'OK' button does not work. Now I am stuck and can't log into my work computer. So far this error has caused about 5 hours of lost productivity due to troubleshooting with IT. No solution in sight.

My IT support team has advised me that the app does not work with Samsung Note 10 Plus. Great. Invested in a new phone and the app that I need when I travel on business, that used to work perfectly on my older Samsung, doesn't work. WHEN IS QRENTRY GOING TO GET THE APP FIXED?

Like everyone has said, its not accepting PIN. I dont have access to my work pc because of this. I have to put it on the company network but am unable to go into work due to covid. But when it works its good.

It was working then today, a Monday, it decided to tell me I needed to re enroll my phone. Now it will not let me enter my pin to get a confirmation code. It doesn't even say my pin is incorrect, it just doesn't allow the done button to respond.

If the sound is on, you have to scan twice with two very loud and very 1995-sounding beeps. Very irritating

UI UX is soooooo BAD compared to the IOS version. Doesn't work properly. Please update.

Trying to take a picture of the QR code is 1 out 5 uses is lear, all other times it is blurry and times out. Horrible app wish my company would find something different to use.

Doesn't work anymore. It scans the qr code and asks for my pin but then when I tap ok after entering my pin it just sits there and does nothing

The new update broke the pin login for me. I can't log into my computer anymore.

Was working. Now with current update it has stopped working. Asks for my pin and just sits there

Functional and handy. No bugs. Curious, what happens when you switch qrentry on in the android services menu? Seems like that's one of the few apps listed there

When only the scan tile is available on start screen, it should be displayed larger and centered like before. To display the user's keys or audit events, we have to juggle many screens, to choose user and see the keys or event. Keys or events screens should directly allow to choose the user.
