Not working well on my phone. Able to scan only about 50% of the coupons even though there is Coupon Scan which is free and lists the Family Code and is 85% reliable even with ads comparatively. Every time it is unable to scan the barcode or has difficulty retrieving information, it freezes my phone and goes to a black screen. Then it takes a minute for me to get to the 'Stop all Apps" screen. Sometimes even freezes up my phone so badly I can't get back in for a minute or two. Hoping to get a refund because it has only been 2 days and it's only be frustrations this whole time. If there is an update and stops freezing my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7) then I will revise my review.
The app wont scan for me I have tried deleting it and re downloading. Turning my phone off and back on, it let me scan 1 time after I did that once. But thats it. Super frustrating.
It tells me what I already know about the coupon... But I was hoping it would tell me if it worked on the product because sometimes it's not know if it's the right size or not. Plus it wouldn't always read my coupons bar codes and it took forever to read it to and wouldn't always focus
It used to work perfectly but now it only works occasionally. I uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. My phone and everything else is updated. So annoying! I loved this app before it started acting up. Please fix it!
UPDATE PLEASE!! I scan Gain laundry and it reads Tide, I scan Tide and it reads Pringles, what is going on?? People are paying for something that doesn't work anymore when it used to be great! Has not been updated in a year and a half when I've been told numerous times on other platforms it would be updated "soon".
What happened? I paid for this app years ago & loved it! Over the last month it hasn't been working properly. It now freezes 90% of the time & its extremely frustrating!!
Love this app, it is literally the one tool I was missing in my coupon escapades, I'm talking game changer & at a one time charge of $1.99? What? R u freaking kidding me with this , I feel like I'm stealing. This app gives me the info to save hundreds on everything from personal care to groceries to diapers to tires. I love it. Yall couldve charged us sooooo much more.... like monthly. Thank u, thank u, thank u, a million hugs n kisses from my whole family.
The app would be amazing!.... IF IT WOULD SCAN! The stupid camera will not focus-- er, STOP focusing i should say- long enough to scan and analyze a coupon to give me the info i need! Seriously needs an upgrade/update!
Game changer. Must have, I've had this app since it was released in 2014. Bought it on Apple Store first then play store. Couldn't imagine couponing without it.. really confused by the low rating.
freezes after one scan. Black screen and having to restart phone is beyond annoying and tiring. Would be effective if it actually worked consistently.
This is a good app when it actually works but everytime I try to use it it doesn't work. It will scan the first coupon and that's it and I'm sorry I shouldn't have to uninstall and reinstall everytime that I want to use the app.
I absolutely hate this app. It is constantly not working. I maybe get 1 out of 10 coupons to scan. It also lacks in detail compared to some of the other alike apps.
Not Working Anymore. I loved this app but since the latest update it is constantly freezing and crashing. Once this is fixed I will update my review but as of now I paid for something that isn't working.
Glitch glitchy glitchy. 😑 It amazes me that these issues haven't been addressed & it's been years. Smh. Freezes, doesn't scan, uninstall/reinstall, restarting phone doesn't help.
Edit: Dropped it to 1 star because it's been several years and they have not updated the app to fix the constant crashing and freezing.
I've had the app for a year now and all of a sudden it stopped working. Tried rebooting the phone, and deleting and reinstalling the app a few times. I'm very upset.
I really enjoyed the app for the 1st 2 weeks. Now it only works occasionally and I'm afraid to uninstall and the reinstall it and be charged for it again. there are no current updates shown for it. Now what?
I love this app WHEN it works which is HARDLY! It will freeze on both an android & apple device and there's no way around it. I really wish they could fix this!
For some reason all of a sudden its not scanning coupons. I went to reach for the coupon and it scanned my blanket and said not available, the exact same thing for the coupon.
eta: switched phones and its trying to make me buy again. repeatedly kicks me out of BETA, and will not d\l without buying it again, even from my purchased apps page.. also has not been scanning at all the past month or so..
UPDATE QSEER APP! this app used to be great, but manufacturers have changed the item codes, even family codes and qseer is not keeping up with the updated codes and wont read half of the pg barcodes correctly now. Used to be a 10 star app, but has fallen behind and now is like a 3 star app, so sad
Since the update it doesn't work. It keep crashing and not scanning. So frustrating.
I have been using qseer a few years now and love everything about it. Plus they have wonderful customer service! A must-have app for any couponer!
App does not seem to be scanning now. Is slow to load, won't load, won't scan barcodes. I tried cleaning up my phone. Should I just Uninstall and reinstall?
Worked great with my last phone. Now i have a hard time getting it to scan. Update.. Tried several times to come back & still not working... i'm out!
Needs an update desperately! When it decides to work, it will only scan one q then quits. I used to love using this app. Now it's annoying.
Update on my previous review. They updated the app and it is now working great, I would highly recommend qseer to anyone that loves to coupon as it is a must have tool!
Only scans maybe 10% of the time. From other reviews it seems like this is an ongoing problem. Contacted support, let's see if they get back to me.
Too quick on the draw. A lot of the time I can't turn on the flash or focus the camera before it tries to scan the coupon, triggering an error. It's just so PREMATURE. Would love to see an update with an auto delay, or a button you click when you have the camera focused. Half the time it tries to scan parts of ads where there is no barcode. It's a good app but SO difficult to control.
