Horrible app. Constant connection issues. I have times where I have to attempt to login 4 or 5 times before it would connect. Now it has stopped connecting at all so I have no remote access to the DVR. User interface is simple but dated. Features on the actual system are average but navigating them on the app was always a pain.
Cannot get it to work: the app keeps giving the exact same error message of "cannot connect to device." ... I don't understand why, I installed the desktop version fine ----> i put in all the same ip address, port numbers, etc and app refuses to connect. The app provides zero troubleshooting assistance at all... it won't say if it can locate the device, if the port is wrong, login issues, nothing. Ugggg.
Sometimes it lose connection. Some other times doesnt even connects . I have to restart the phone in order to reconnect in some cases. If alarm goes off and you click to see what's happening is pointless. The app takes ages to open and then freezes. So no good
Doesn't work with my android phone. Looks like the developers don't care. This a problem many of us users are having for a while now. However still no fix to the app. I'm having to change my whole camera system because of this problem. If I can rate it lower I would. Very disappointed
this program just stops working all on its own. then days or weeks later it starts again. I've been away from my home for 4 weeks and after week 1 the program stopped giving me access to system. it's hard to rush home to reset and hope it will fix itself . this is a garbage system so far.
I like the way it works, can view the cameras from anywhere and can rewind to watch any events. I would like for it to be able to download from phone to send, not sure if it does but I don't know how. Overall I like the app and the system too
The qsee classic app works with iPhone but not with my Android. It worked previously then one day it stopped working. Got new phone and app still doesnt work. Keep getting "failed network' message. Still works fine with iPhone. Odd.
sometimes it wont load the cameras. but when it finally does after 4 or 5 tries, it works well. that is until it throws you off and you have to start all over again. that's the only problem I have with them. if it wasn't for that they would be 5 stars
Cameras work good, lately having a hard time connecting remotely. As of 7-2-19, still cant remote my system. Installed a new router checked all settings. This app is terrible, it was good, dont know what they've done.
app is ok. it needs lots of improvements. app still running in the background after exiting , on 6 and 8 viewing screen it doesnt even let me manipulate the screen. and much more..I am using Samsung Note 8
I use this specific app on my Tab 3 for several years. I think it works great. I use another QT app on my phone. Often problems come about when your internet provider changes your IP address while you're out of town. They can do it, and thats how the provider gets more money from you. "Crimecast" Xfinity will be happy to sign you up as Business customer and lock in your IP address. KEEP IN MIND - You are rating the app here, NOT QT equipment or products.
it was working perfect. but after Samsung updates it's just not working at all. I hope they fix it. other q see apps are not working like this one was.
most unreliable app, sometimes works away from home but most of the time it doesn't! Been this way for 2 years just horrible, Im getting a system and it wont be QT!
my phone is always disconnecting and hard to connect to server mobile. always getting failed to connect message. and system is hardwired directly into the internet.
I had the same issue with my upgraded android phone, the app stopped working. There is a new app for the updated android phone, I download it now it works fine.
Could this app be more complicated? NO. This app is the exact opposite of user friendly. Might be acceptable for people who after they figure it out use it daily but it is not designed for occasional use.
hate it. never get this thing to work consistently the dvr give up trying to contact customer service can never login remotely from mobile. whats the use of that. just going to take down the entire cam system and toss. go with another proven company
i really like the apps features and it's easy to use. there is a lot of lag time between phone and DVR even with that overall its a good app
App won't let me log on despite being logged on before. Is there a newer version? Once I was logged in (temporary) I honestly couldn't do much but all I want is the live feed. Is this the best app to use?
I have to constantly refresh app. It won'r connect to device. I stil have the same problem, connecting to live view.
it does not work with new android updated softwares. nor even with iphones or ipad. its useless now to have the qsee system. please atleast reply if we are getting update or need to change the DVR?????
i have had my first qsee 16 channel surveilance system more than 10 years now. and it works great. i love the app on my phone and great customer support.
Bad spotty doesn't connect most of the time Doesn't connect anymore with Mac address only ip Doesn't connect anymore when away from WiFi Will go to lorex for new system little better
EDIT JULY 2019!!!!! Stopped working completely with the last Android update. Crashes immediately upon opening. Reading other reviews shows many have this problem. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!! Only problem we have is the super lousy internet-the only service available to us-provided by AT&T uVerse.It's a crapshoot as to if we'll be able to view remotely. But app is great!
